Description:
You are bidding on a survivor non restored 1969 Dodge Coronet 500!
This is a numbers matching 318 V8 & Auto transmission.
Showing 44021 miles on the dash (5 digit reader- I was told it was only 44k not 144k but I don't know how to prove it)

Within the last 6 months the car has received new 275/60/15 Primewell rear tires, 245/60/15 Cooper Cobra front tires, (the wheels are 9.5 inches wide all the way around) New inner and outer tie rods, ball joints, steering box, power steering pump, thermostat, AC Delco battery, shifter linkage bushings, transmission service with new fluid, filter, rear shaft seal, selector seal and pan gasket.
New radiator hoses, new belts, all four shocks, rebuilt carburetor, brand new 195/60/15 spare tire and I am sure there's more I'm missing.

This car runs well and is unrestored. It is not a perfect show car at this point in time, it does have some minor flaws here and there.
It does need new valve seals (smokes on start up) it has a lifter ticking, it has door dings on the body here, and there, the chrome isn't perfect, the A/c compressor, lines, and condenser have been removed. There is a seam on the passenger seat, where the top and side meet that has separated. The radio and the tach were disconnected, I never got to hooking them back up. The backlights for the gauges don't light up. I never tried to put bulbs in. I also do have the fender "Coronet" emblems, that weren't pictured, they will be put back on today

This car is 98% rust free, ZERO rot! There is minor surface bubbles around the back glass edges, and trunk pan. No holes have been found.

All turn signals, headlights, brights, brake lights, dome light, etc all work.

This car is manual brakes with drums all the way around. The fronts are 10" drums, I have a complete pair of 11" Big Block brakes with hubs and everything I will include. I also have a used AC compressor, lines, and accumulator I have located, I will include as well.

Before I owned this car it was owned by Sunny Beechams auto museum in Ansonville, NC, and previous to that was in Hendersonville NC is what I was told when I bought this car. I have a clear North Carolina title in hand.

I recommend interested buyers come look at the car in person and see the condition for yourself. This car is unrestored, and wont be 100% perfect. It is a very nice unrestored car, and as far as I can tell its had one older repaint.

This cars is being sold as is!! Come see it for yourself, there is no refunds!

McLaren, Koenigsegg, Toyota, Ford, Dodge and Corvette Lego kits announced for 2021

Tue, May 4 2021

Lego has announced a slew of car-themed sets for 2021. The six kits comprise nine vehicles and fall under the brick pusher's Speed Champion line of official OEM-licensed kits. News of their arrival comes from German toy retailer JB Spielwaren's pre-order listings, which show three single-car sets and three dual-car sets of matched marques. Starting with the McLaren Elva roadster, the kit consists of 263 pieces and is finished in blue. It seems to have a difficult time capturing the curves of the real-life Elva, but there's only so much you can do with a bunch of plastic blocks. Lego has made several other McLaren kits before, including the Senna, 720S, and a more advanced Senna GTR for the Technics line. Next up is the Koenigsegg Jesko, made up of 280 pieces and finished in white. Though the real-life Jesko is still curvy, this kit does a better job of replicating its aggressive maw, vents and cantilevered rear wing. Rounding out the single-car sets is the 299-piece Toyota GR Supra in yellow. This marks the first time Toyota has lent their license to Lego. Again, it struggles a bit to represent the curvy Supra, relying on printed details like logos and headlights to identify. On the other hand, the Chevrolet two-car does a stupendous job with the 1968 Corvette. The C3 is instantly recognizable as such. The C8-R race car it's paired with suffers from the same issues as some of the previous cars, though. The set contains 512 pieces, and funnily enough the C8 driver has short hair while the C3 driver sports a period-correct wavy mane. The next set is a 627-piece Mopar-themed pair, including a purple (Plum Crazy?) 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A and an SRT top fuel dragster. The race car is spot on, but the Challenger was probably tough to make given the width restrictions. It looks a couple of pegs too narrow compared to the wide proportions of the real deal. Last but not least, the Ford set contains a Bronco R and Ford GT Heritage Edition. Consisting of 660 pieces, the set does an excellent job of representing both cars. The GT looks faithful in its Gulf livery, and the Bronco R looks more like a real Bronco than the actual Bronco R race truck. All in all, it's always fun to see more Lego sets with real cars, and we're glad to see more manufacturers added to the roster. The single-car sets are recommended for ages 7 and up, while the double-car sets have an 8 years and up rating. Price in U.S.

Watch the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat verify its 204-mph top speed

Thu, Jan 29 2015

The industry is producing some ridiculously fast four-doors these days, from the Porsche Panamera and Maserati Quattroporte to the Mercedes E63 AMG and BMW M5. But the fastest of them all doesn't cost six figures. It doesn't even come from Europe. It's made right here in North America, by a US automaker. And it starts at under $64k. We're talking about the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, the Pentastar muscle sedan with the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 and its 707 horsepower. Dodge claims it's the "quickest, fastest, most powerful [production] sedan ever," and they're not just blowing smoke... or smoking tires. During the final stages of development, engineers from Auburn Hills took a bone-stock, Hellcat-powered Charger out to a seven-mile oval for a top speed run and they filmed the occasion for posterity. The result? 206.9 miles per hour with the wind, 202.2 against it, for a two-way average top speed of 204.55 mph. Chew on that, imports.

2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody | First Run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Mon, Jul 17 2017

In addition to driving the Dodge Demon, we also had a chance to sample the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody last week. We drove it on the famed infield road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We're not at liberty to give you our impressions just yet, but you can experience the sights and sounds of the 707-horsepower Hellcat Widebody in the above video. Thanks for watching. Check back on Wednesday, July 19, to read about the experience.
