So here is my 1966 Dodge Coronet 500
This is a very solid and COMPLETE car. I bought the car not too long ago with the intention to restore it. This was just a project i never got to. The car is an Original G-code 383 Big Block car Original 383 California car 727 Heavy-duty Torqueflite Auto 3-speed trans. shifts with no issues. 8 3/4 rear end. Odometer reads 08714 (so 108714 miles on the car ) Power steering The 383 has plenty of bolt-ons including: -Edelbrock performer aluminum intake -Holley 4bbl carb -Electronic ignition -H-pipe - Flowmaster mufflers -K&N air filter -Aluminum radiator -Brand new Battery -Acccel Super Stock Ignition Coil -etc The body is in great condition considering its age and rarity It has a functioning hood scoop. I will also include another hood scoop for the car. Hood also has external locks w/keys Every piece of trim other than the bumperettes are on the car. Car was originally light green but now sports a Midnight blue. It is NOT a new paint job, i was planning to paint the car regardless as there is little body work needed since the car overall is straight but not perfect. The floors and trunk have NO RUST!!! Currently installed are a set of 15" American Racing rims w/tri-spoke center caps. Tires are 215/60/15 up front and 235/60/15 in the rear and are in great condition. I even have the original Magnum 500's without tires. They could be worked into the deal. Rear has air shocks with an accessible air fitting located below the rear bumper for quick adjustable ride height. The car even comes installed with a factory front sway bar, which is rare on B-body Mopars. Brakes work and the car stops as it should with no issues. It's a non-power all drum setup. Interior is in great/good condition. Bucket seats with center console. The front bucket seats have been reupholstered and have no rips or cracks. Rear bench is in good condition with typical wear. Headliner is new and looks fantastic Center console is COMPLETE. even the courtesy lights still work Dash is complete (except cigarette lighter) with after market stereo installed. Cruise while listening to your ipod! Stereo is only hooked up to two(2) Aftermarket 6x6's located on the package tray. So the kick panels and door panels are untouched, unlike many other cars which are usually cut up for speakers.. Electronic retractable antenna installed as well and works. ALL GAUGES WORK! even the Horn still works. ALL GLASS IS THERE, NO CRACKS AND ALL WORK ACCORDINGLY. Car even has upgraded Halogen Headlights. The car Starts, Runs, Drives, and Stops. Registration is clean and current until June. PINKSLIP IN HAND! There is only one issue with the car. The car fires up every time, but unfortunately Cylinder 6 exhaust cam lobe is SLIGHTLY worn. The lobe is NOT COMPLE`TELY ROUNDED! Light scoring on the lobe. As i stated earlier the car still runs and drives, but i obviously recommend replacing the cam. Easy weekend job but i haven't messed with the car lately which is why I'm selling. You could drive the car as is, much like i still do, but again i recommend replacing the camshaft. There is a lot on this car so I know I'm forgetting something. I have tried my best to describe the car, but please feel free to contact me with any and all questions. Cell: 4one5-4one2-zero773 My name is Norman This car will make a badass driver (which it already is) or you can restore (which is easy for a car this solid and complete) Thanks for looking. Payment due within 7 days after auction close. A $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours after winning bid. Paypal not accepted. I reserve the right to end listing early as vehicle is for sale locally. Car sold as is with no warranty Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. |

Dodge, Ram, Jeep — Stellantis — dumped a ton of news: Here's a roundup
Thu, Jul 8 2021Stellantis hit us with an absolute deluge of information regarding its future electric vehicle plans Thursday, including a roadmap for each of its brands to reach a goal of making electrified vehicles 80% of the company's total global volume by 2030. We'll hit all of the highlights here, with an emphasis on those that matter most to the U.S. marketplace. Stellantis previews 4 electric platforms: Here's how they'll be used This is the method behind the rest of Thursday's madness. Eventually, Stellantis will migrate its electrified vehicles onto one of these core platforms based around a new common EV powertrain architecture.  Dodge will launch the 'world's first electric muscle car' in 2024 It looks like Dodge will invoke its 60s heritage (peep the illuminated "Fratzog" on the nose) for a new, all-electric muscle car. Based on the STLA Large platform, it's projected to have a 0-to-60 time as low as 2 seconds and a range of up to 500 miles. The automaker also hinted at a maximum power output of as high as 886 horsepower courtesy of a pair of 330-kilowatt electric motors.  Jeep will have 4xe plug-in hybrid models across the lineup by 2025 The iconic 4x4 brand will have a plug-in hybrid variant of every model by 2025. The U.S.-market Compass 4xe is expected to debut this summer, and the Wagoneer 4xe has already been announced. The Grand Cherokee 4xe will be shown at the New York International Auto Show in August.  Fully electric Ram 1500 will begin production in 2024 You didn't think the Ford F-150 Lightning would get the space all to itself, did you? Ram says it will have an electrified Ram 1500 on the market soon. Will it be fast enough to beat GM?  Stellantis teases mystery electric Chrysler concept This one's a genuine puzzler. We've reached out to Chrysler for details, but for now, all we know is that this all-electric concept appears production-friendly and will ostensibly ride on the same STLA Large platform as the Dodge muscle car.  Opel Manta E will be the electric revival of the classic German coupe We'll forgive you if you'd forgotten that Opel was now part of Stellantis, and with new ownership comes new opportunity. The company revived the Manta nameplate as a high-riding coupe/hatchback concept.  Fiat says all Abarth models to be electric from 2024 This likely won't matter much in the U.S. market, where the 500X will soon be the only vehicle it sells, but Fiat's performance division is going all-electric.
2013 Dodge Dart GT
Mon, 16 Dec 2013My younger brother bought a Dodge Dart earlier this summer. It's a basic SXT, in Maximum Steel Metallic, with the 2.0-liter engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and not a whole lot else. Unfortunately, at the time, the Dart was one of the few cars in the compact class I'd never driven. I didn't know a lot about it, and therefore, didn't have a lot to say when he bought it. I think the words "based on an Alfa," popped out when I first saw it.
As it turns out, he's grown quite fond of the dark gray sedan, so it was with some degree of enthusiasm that I paid him a visit in this bright-orange Dart GT. I was excited to see what it was about the Dart that he enjoyed so much, despite my tester featuring a different engine, transmission and a lot more tech. After a week with the car, though, I must say: I don't quite see what all the fuss is about.

Stellantis aims to eliminate separate inverter, charger to improve EV efficiency
Fri, Jul 21 2023Stellantis has announced that, in collaboration with French battery company Saft and French National Center for Scientific Research, has made significant progress in eliminating two major components of an electric vehicle powertrain: the on-board charger and the power inverter for the motor. The company claims that doing this will allow for better space use in vehicles, as well as improvements in efficiency, cost and reliability of components. As a quick primer, also explained in the below video, the on-board charger and power inverter are sort of translators to get the right current to different parts of the electric powertrain. The on-board charger takes AC power from the grid and converts it to DC to charge the batteries. Then when power goes from the batteries to the electric motor, the power inverter converts that DC power back to AC. These components aren't exactly small. Frequently you'll find them packaged somewhere under the hood. What Stellantis and its cohorts have developed, and have been using on a test vehicle since last summer, are small power inverter boards that can be mounted very closely to the battery packs. They can handle both conversion needs, for charging and discharging, instead of needing two separate devices. The most obvious perk to this is that you can do away with those traditional components and free up more space, either for making smaller vehicles without losing interior volume, or adding space to a vehicle that wouldn't have had it otherwise. There's the additional benefit of reduced weight, something that EVs struggle with. Stellantis also claims improvements in efficiency, reliability, and cost, however, it didn't go into detail as to how this setup would do that exactly. We'll try to get in touch with representatives from Stellantis in order to get more information. We're still a ways out from seeing this technology in production Stellantis vehicles. The company said it aims to apply it to vehicles by the end of the decade. Saft is also looking at using it on stationary battery systems as well. So maybe we'll see it on a 2029 Ram 1500 REV, but for now, we'll be living with traditional chargers and inverters. Related Video: Green Alfa Romeo Chrysler Dodge Fiat RAM Technology Electric
