!953 Dodge Coronet Original flathead six and Gyromatic trans. Engine has had head milled .010 and added adapter and 2 barrel carb. Exhaust manifold was split and new dual exhaust with glaspacks installed. All rust on body repaired and repainted Summit racing satin medium gray with roof being painted white base with silver flake . Body has had hood shaved and bullnosed, deck and all side trim and door handles were also shaved. Front floors were poorly patched when I bought the car and will need some better repairs done. I will include new front floor pans with car for you to install. (there are no holes in floor though) Old school style pinstriping was added on hood, trunk and sail panels. Interior is stock with indian blankets on seat bottoms. There is no headliner. Tires are new Coker wide whites on stock wheels painted gloss black with new spider caps.Rear was lowered using 4" blocks and front was dropped by cutting 1 1/2 coils. All lights and signals work. Car runs and drives well. Chrome bumpers are not rusted or dented but chrome is original and not bright. Drivers window is cracked but did not bother me so I have not repaired it yet. Windshield has slight fogging at bottom corners. Trunk area is finished in new speckled finish.

Dodge Charger and Challenger go Plum Crazy for Woodward Dream Cruise

Dodge will be rolling through a purple haze at the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15 with the reintroduction of Plum Crazy to the color options on most trims of the 2016 Challenger and Charger. To premiere the latest use of the wild shade, the brand's display at the annual Detroit-area automotive event will be showing off violet versions of the 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker and Charger R/T Scat Pack. The brash tone originally debuted in 1970, but Dodge has kept the lavender hue special in recent years by limiting the option to specific trims. It was last offered during the 2014 model year on R/T and SRT trims of the two vehicles. Practically any buyer will be able to go Plum Crazy if they want. On the Challenger, the color will be available on the SXT Plus, R/T models, Hemi Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat trims. The choices for the Charger will be similarly broad, including the SXT when ordered with 20-inch wheels, R/T versions, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. Customers desperately wanting a vehicle in the insanely violet shade will be able to place the first orders in September, and dealers will get the chance from October through the end of the year. Production of the lavender muscle cars will then commence in November. It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
