NO TRADES OF ANY KIND- CLEAR TITLE IN HAND- CAR IS 45 MILES SOUTH OF CHICAGO IN SCHERERVILLE INDIANA- POSSIBLE DELIVERY TO NATS AUGUST 9TH-------1974 Dodge Charger SE Brougham. All numbers matching 318 automatic car from Montana-factory AC car-- extremely solid vehicle- Frosty Green with green interior (not the ugly pea green, but the emerald green interior) . All body panels are original, there was one small patch done on the passenger lower quarter where a road map fell down the well and created moisture, but that was it, this car is really straight. The car has a lot of neat documentation from 1974 and on. Fender tag but no build sheet. The car has had a recent driver quality paint job, which looks great and full of metallic when the sun hits it. The car can still use a final wet sand. The car has a brand new Boar Grain vinyl top. All of the stainless trim was professionally polished by Pro One Polishing in Indiana, including the rockers (this was a cost of $970 alone). The car has brand new rechromed OEM bumpers from Stephen's Performance ($950), brand new chrome reveal mouldings front and back ($500), brand new marker lights, all new bulbs, (missing one turn signal lens under front valance)- Brand new BF Goodrich tires with maybe 8 miles on them, wrapped onto brand new chrome Magnum 500 wheels, new chrome lug nuts, new center caps ($1750). The rear drums were painted with the correct red from Roger Gibson, the car has a brand new fuel tank, new sending unit, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, brand new battery, complete tune up, oil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, oil filter, BRAND NEW carburetor (still have original in a box), brand new roof rail weather strip, new door weather strip, new cat whiskers, NEW OEM mint dash pad with zero cracks ($680 after dying) - brand new windshield, the bottom of the car is completely undercoated nice and black, the floor pans and frame rails are EXCELLENT, the trunk pan is EXCELLENT. new gas cap, new rear shocks, brakes are good but needing changing since they are just starting to squeak, the factory AC blows ICE FREAKIN COLD.. I had to shut it off it was so cold the other day- every light works, blinkers, etc, the radio just stopped working, there is a brand new speaker in the dash but I have not had time to mess with the radio. WHAT THE CAR NEEDS: Needs a new front seat cover (Legendary still has the NOS green psychedelic cloth IN STOCK) it is just faded and has a tear- the car needs new carpet, its just faded and old, but looks fine, the car needs new plastic seat backs- the head liner appears pretty mint, its just faded and has some staining, you can definitely live with it, it looks good. Oh, and the car could use an extra 200HP.. if you want to go fast in this car, it aint happening unless you drop it out of a airplane. This is the perfect candidate for someone with a good motor and no car to put it in. With the few interior upgrades this car would be awesome. This car looks great, it is not a show car, it needs some attention. The paint is driver quality, I have $3700 in the paint job, for what it is, its awesome, there are tiny flaws here and there if you start eyeballing the sh*t out of it, but overall everyone loves it and says it looks fine- the paint comes alive in the sun, super bright! (see the pic in the sunlight)  . I am NOT ACCEPTING OFFERS, I am not hurting for money, I have several high end E-Body's (my AAR will be competing at the Nats in the Finer Details tent) I bought this car just to drive around since it was so solid. Rides like dream, if your dream is just to cruise around and have fun. Speedo cable needs replacing too.  If I think of other stuff I will add later. Paypal deposit of $300 required, CASH, bank check, wire, ONLY- no personal checks. Delivery to Nats will cost $250 extra- if you are paying cash there I will deliver for free. The firewall is super clean, all of the components on it seem original and in great shape (like the cad plating on wiper motor and booster) MT cars are usually rust free and clean like this due to no salt.

Dodge Demon test mule spotted wearing unusual camouflage

Thu, Feb 23 2017

The Dodge Demon apparently refuses to stay under wraps. The endless rollout of teasers continues each Thursday, but thanks to both Vin Diesel and our trusty spy photographer we have a whole suite of photos that show a nearly complete car in the flesh. This car appears to have been hiding in plain sight, as some of these photos were captured in the Detroit area. The car or cars in these photos is far less polished than the one shown in all of Dodge's teasers. The Air Grabber hood is unpainted, though it does come with some awesome hood pins. The same goes for the bolt-on fenders, as other pictures show a cleaner integration of the Demon's widebody modification. Despite the large Nitto logo on the top of the windshield, the cars in these photos are both wearing a set of Pirelli PZero All-season Plus tires on non-Demon wheels. It's as if drag radials aren't the best choice for winter driving. This car is fitted with two-piece Brembo brakes, but there's no telling if they're different than the standard Hellcat's. The decals on the side of the car may give clues to some of the Demon's equipment, but based on the LB Performance - commonly known as Liberty Walk- logo, the decals are likely more of a ruse than anything else. Liberty walk is famous in the tuning community for big, bolt-on body kits. The looks perfectly suit these test cars, though Borla exhaust and a Hurst shifter would be a wonderful addition to the Demon. Outside of that, there isn't much new to glean from these photos. Most of our questions about the Demon (horsepower, gearing, price) can't be had from pictures. Look for more news each Thursday in the lead up to the car's debut in New York in April. Dodge revives Challenger T/A and Charger Daytona trims for 2017

Tue, Aug 16 2016

Dodge is reviving the Challenger's T/A trim and the Charger's Daytona line for 2017. Introduced on iconic Woodward Avenue just days before the annual Woodward Dream Cruise kicks off, the new variants promise more performance hardware and sportier aesthetics. We'll start with the two-door. The Challenger T/A, available with either the R/T trim's 5.7-liter V8 or the fire-breathing 6.4-liter Hemi V8, is inspired by the Challenger T/As of old. That means a less restrictive, 2.75-inch active exhaust system and a conical Mopar air filter. But there's no clear bump in output – Dodge still lists the base 5.7-liter at 375 horsepower and the 6.4-liter model at 485 hp. But hey, they're going to look cooler. Unlike the Challenger Hellcat, which should have it as standard, Dodge is including a Satin Black hood on every Challenger T/A. In fact, Satin Black is a recurring theme on this Challenger's front fascia, roof, rear decklid, and T/A bodyside stripes. And yes, the 20-inch Mopar wheels are black, too – they're also an inch wider than normal. Dodge is offering the T/A in three different trims. The base T/A has everything we described above, while the T/A Plus adds some comfort features like heated and vented Nappa leather seats, an 8.4-inch UConnect system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo, and a shortcut button for the Dodge Performance Pages. The T/A 392, meanwhile, adds the 6.4-liter V8, even wider wheels, and Brembo six-pot calipers. If you prefer smoking tires with four doors, there's the new Charger Daytona. No, there's not an enormous wing on the back. But Dodge added the same kind of engine/exhaust upgrades found on the T/A while upping the top speed from 135 to 150 miles per hour. Satin Black features prominently again, with hood and rear fender graphics. The roof is also black. Unlike the Challenger, Dodge is only offering two different versions of the Daytona – the 5.7-liter base model and the 6.4-liter version, called the Daytona 392. Prices for the Challenger T/A start at $38,485, including a $1,095-destination charge, while the T/A Plus adds $2,750. Adding the 392 means shelling out $45,090. For the Daytona, you'll need a check for $40,985 for the 5.7-liter or $46,090 for the 6.4-liter. Orders for the Charger Daytona open in September, while the T/A is a month later. Related Video:
