06 dodge charger with Paxton supercharger making 508bhp and around 430hp to the wheels.

I bought this car brand new, no accidents.

Real flat black paint job done by a professional in a professional body shop.
The supercharger was professionally installed by MPS at around 50,000 miles and daily driven with no issues. The supercharger and install was almost $10k. While they were doing the supercharger I had them do a complete traction control bypass which is located on a switch by the hood popper. This allows you to stay sideways for as long as you can hold on. If you don't have this even with normal traction control off it hooks up when the car gets too sideways or to long of a burnout.
It also has a full time radiator fan switch in the same area, I have never needed it but i guess it would come in handy if you were really getting on it.
Cats have been removed and flow-master super 40's delete all the rest of the emission control hp robbing nonsense. So if you live where emission testing is required you will need to install new catalytic converters.
It has engine management, a plug in the glove box where you can hook up to your laptop and tune to your liking.
Has the air fuel and boost gauges on the pillar. I only have it running 5lbs of boost for it to stay safe for the motor and keep it reliable.
SRT8 functional hood and wing. 22" wheels with wheel spacers to fit the 10" wide tires. The tires will need to be replaced sometime in the near future.
Tinted windows and lights. the door jams are gloss black only slightly noticeable when doors are open, under hood and deck lid are flat.
Always maintained by the best mechanic in town (in my opinion) but i figure if all the big hp muscle cars go there he must be damn good.
I have probably $20k in aftermarket goodies in the car.
There is some wear on the driver seat shown in photo.

Over all this is a real head turner, very fast and fun car.

Dodge celebrates centennial with Charger and Challenger 100th Anniversary Editions

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

In 1914, the Dodge brothers went from being a parts supplier to a full-scale automaker, and to celebrate the centennial of this milestone, Dodge will offer special editions of the 2014 Charger and Challenger early next year. Both cars will be sold in limited numbers (although no specific number was given), and these cars will stand out thanks to unique touches like 20-inch wheels, 100th anniversary edition logos and the exclusive High Octane Red Pearl Coat paint job (shown above).
The 100th Anniversary Edition package, which runs $2,200 on the 2014 Charger and $2,500 on the 2014 Challenger, comes with red or black leather seats with a cloud print (for a denim-like look) and metal badges on the seatbacks that read "Dodge Est. 1914," while similar logos are also found on the wheel center caps and front fenders. The instrument gauges are unique to each car, with the Charger getting black gauges and the Challenger getting white gauges, and to enunciate the 100-year anniversary, both cars have red numerals on the speedometer for the 100-mile-per-hour mark.
Finishing off the 100th Anniversary Edition cars, which will be offered on V6 and R/T models, Dodge adds a flat-bottom steering wheel and embroidered floor mats as a part of the package. Scroll down for the full press release for these commemorative models.

Stellantis invests more than $100 million in California lithium project

Thu, Aug 17 2023

Stellantis said it would invest more than $100 million in California's Controlled Thermal Resources, its latest bet on the direct lithium extraction (DLE) sector amid the global hunt for new sources of the electric vehicle battery metal. The investment by the Chrysler and Jeep parent announced on Thursday comes as the green energy transition and U.S. Inflation Reduction Act have fueled concerns that supplies of lithium and other materials may fall short of strong demand forecasts. DLE technologies vary, but each aims to mechanically filter lithium from salty brine deposits and thus avoid the need for open pit mines or large evaporation ponds, the two most common but environmentally challenging ways to extract the battery metal. Stellantis, which has said half of its fleet will be electric by 2030, also agreed to nearly triple the amount of lithium it will buy from Controlled Thermal, boosting a previous order to 65,000 metric tons annually for at least 10 years, starting in 2027. "This is a significant investment and goes a long way toward developing this key project," Controlled Thermal CEO Rod Colwell said in an interview. The company plans to spend more than $1 billion to separate lithium from superhot geothermal brines extracted from beneath California's Salton Sea after flashing steam off those brines to spin turbines that will produce electricity starting next year. That renewable power is expected to cut the amount of carbon emitted during lithium production. Rival Berkshire Hathaway has struggled to produce lithium from the same area given large concentrations of silica in the brine that can form glass when cooled, clogging pipes. Colwell said a $65 million facility recently installed by Controlled Thermal can remove that silica and other unwanted metals. DLE equipment licensed from Koch Industries would then remove the lithium. "We're very happy with the equipment," he said. "We're going to deliver. There's just no doubt about it." Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares called the Controlled Thermal partnership "an important step in our care for our customers and our planet as we work to provide clean, safe and affordable mobility." Both companies declined to provide the specific investment amount. Controlled Thermal aims to obtain final permits by October and start construction of a commercial lithium plant soon thereafter, Colwell said. Goldman Sachs is leading the search for additional debt and equity financing, he added.

MotorWeek revisits the awesome, original Dodge Viper

Sat, Jun 6 2015

MotorWeek is bringing the automotive world a wonderful blast from the past with its latest Retro Review. Not only does the video feature the now-famous, original Dodge Viper, but this is also a chance to watch one lapping Pocono International Raceway in a test of track prowess. This segment was MotorWeek's first chance to unleash the Viper around a racecourse, and the show took advantage of the opportunity. In addition to the usual 0-60 mph and quarter-mile tests, the 400-horsepower V10 is let loose to do lap after lap. The clip offers a great dose of nostalgia and is worth a watch to remember the intense enthusiasm surrounding the Viper at the time.
