This is an excellent driver quality car but not a show car. The paint is decent with a few nicks from driving. One small dent on the front driver's side fender was fixed and primed but Have not had the chance to get the paint matched. The vinyl top is new and has absolutely NO rust or bubbles in it. Rear floor pans were replaced, as well as lower rear quarters. Absolutely NO rust in this car. Working electric Hide-aways. Newly upholstered seats with custom head rests. Console in this car is above and beyond any I have seen. Slapstick shifter. Headliner is brand new with car but needs to be installed. I have all clips and rods to go with it. This car features the Brougham interior package. It is the SE (Special Edition) Charger.

Car has a 1971 440HP engine with Edlebrock high rise aluminum intake and Edlebrock carb. Mopar performance valve covers. The 71 440hp engine has over 125 more Horses @370hp over the 72 @245hp! 727 transmission and the 8 3/4 rear end.The wheels(17") and tires are Brand new!
Car was purchased out of Spartanburg S.C., where it lived its life until I purchased it.Great Southern car!

This car was an original A/C car with all hook ups still there for someone who wants to put it back on the car. This is a great cruiser and gets loads of attention everywhere. You can ride it and add the few touches to make it show worthy at minimal costs because all of the major jobs are done. It cranks, runs drives and shifts awesome. Never runs hot.

As for things it needs: The power steering pump gets hard at times and could probably use changing. There is no radio and the dash is cracked. These are things I haven't addressed yet because I just like driving and listening to the motor make music. The exhaust is new and I have it straight piped. If you want to add mufflers you can. It also needs a passenger side mirror.

This is a solid, straight rust free Big block Charger. Don't miss your chance at one of the last TRUE Muscle cars. The car with it's options is listed for $16,380 in average condition in the NADA for Classic cars. This car is way better than average so again, Don't miss this chance on a No Reserve auction. The car is listed locally so auction could end early.

NHTSA is investigating FCA shifters for roll-away accidents again, this time the rotary units

Tue, Dec 20 2016

It seems FCA's shifter troubles aren't over yet. Now, just a few months after issuing a recall to resolve user-related issues with its monostable shifters, the company is again under investigation by NHTSA. The issue is related to the potential for cars to roll away when the rotary-style shifter is not properly placed in park. Two FCA models are the subject of this investigation: the 2013–2016 Ram 1500 and the 2014–2016 Dodge Durango. NHTSA estimates about 1,000,000 vehicles would be affected if a recall is issued. The investigation was started following 43 complaints of vehicles rolling away while supposedly being in "park." Among the complaints were reports of 25 crashes and 9 injuries. NHTSA does point out that in every incident, the parking brake was not engaged. A representative from FCA also gave us an official statement regarding the investigation: "FCA US is cooperating fully with NHTSA's investigation, the scope of which is limited. Other vehicles equipped with rotary shifters are not included. In accordance with prudent practice, the Company joins NHTSA in urging all drivers to use their vehicles' parking brakes." View 35 Photos As mentioned above, other Chrysler products with rotary shifters, such as the Pacifica minivan and 200 sedan, are not involved in this investigation. One of the key differences, as the representative told us, is that these vehicles have electronic parking brakes that automatically engage if the driver does not select park and then opens the door with the seatbelt unbuckled. The Ram 1500 and Durango feature mechanical, manually operated parking brakes and therefore cannot activate the brake automatically. Because this is currently an investigation, an exact cause for the incidents has yet to be determined, and none of the vehicles have been recalled. It's possible there could be a mechanical defect. However, the issue could be a confusing interface causing user error, as was the case with FCA's monostable shifters, where drivers think they've put the car in park but actually haven't. Something that indicates it could be a case of confused users is that NHTSA also opened an investigation into 2012–2014 Jaguar XF and Land Rover Range Rover Evoques for similar issues. Both vehicles use a rotary shifter and have had roll-away complaints levied as well. Even if it is a case of user error, FCA and Jaguar Land Rover may still have to recall their vehicles.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat valet mode angers parking attendant

Thu, Mar 10 2016

I spent over three years as a valet. It was good money and an excellent second job when I was getting my start as a writer – ten hours per week at the small restaurant I worked for was good for anywhere from $150 to $250. Over those years, I can say with absolute confidence I never goofed off in someone's car. Unfortunately, not all valets are so trustworthy. Like these idiots. Apparently, a Dodge Challenger Hellcat owner captured the valets at Universal Studios in Florida on his dashcam messing about behind the wheel of his 707-horsepower muscle car. One valet is behind the wheel and there's another riding shotgun as they aimlessly wander about the parking lot, lamenting the fact that the owner (wisely) engaged valet mode before handing over the keys. "We can't do anything," they whine. The owner, for his part, seemed pretty cool about the whole thing, writing in the YouTube description that he purposely kicked up the exposure at the end of the video to hide the identities of the valets. He also added that they didn't do anything wrong – this former valet agrees to disagree, based on the over four minutes it takes to actually park the car – and that he was thankful for valet mode. You can check out the video above – be warned, though, there is some language in it. And remember, if you valet your car, use valet mode, check the odometer when you drop off and pick up, and if everything checks out, give the poor guys a tip. Want more recent Hellcat news? eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.
