1969 Charger. 440 engine (originally a 383), standard bore. Motor was sent to machine shop cleaned and balanced. Forged pistons. Edelbrock aluminium heads 2.14 intake 1.81 exhaust. Adjustable rocker arms. 557 lift cam. M1 single plane intake. 850 carb. 125 shot of nos (never used). All engine components were bought new. 8 quart oil pan with larger pick up. 727 trans with cheetah manual reverse valve body. Torque converter was made by redneck torque converters in texas. Custom made for engine specs. $15k in the motor alone. Nice paint that shows really well. New floors. trunk pan is patched. Newer carpet and back seat has been reupholstered. This car sounds mean! Sat, 16 Aug 2014If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
