I have a great 1967 Dodge Charger White Hat Special with the original 318 motor that runs and drives well. Almost all of the interior items work such as the radio, dome lights, wipers, heat system. There is a common issue with the head lights, the brights work but not the regular lights, and the flip open lights are not working. Those issues can be easily sorted. The bottom of the car is remarkably solid with the exception of two spots in the driver and passenger floor boards. The body cross member on the drivers side is rusted a bit and the trunk floor has a couple spots by the rear wheels. There are some rust spots in the rear frame members from the back tires but is still solid. These items need repair but the rest of the car is in great shape. Please see pictures for details. The doors shut nice and the interior is in great shape for the cars age. The carpet is sun faded and the vinyl on the front seats have split. The seat foam is in excellent condition especially for the drivers side. The dash is really nice as well as the door panels. I have receipts totaling around 3000$ for a complete professional motor rebuild, new tires, and some work done on steering components and bushings. The car has been garaged for the last 18 years and only 1,140 miles have been put on the car since 1998. The odometer shows 38,140. I have a receipt for the tires that show 37,000 miles in 1998. The car has been repainted once in the past and had some body work done around the rear fenders. There is some bubbling coming through but it would be pretty minor body work to put a new paint job on the car. The mechanical issues are pretty minor and the glass is good and windows work well.
This is one of the White hat special cars which is pretty rare. |

New Dodge Charger SRT Widebody likely teased in brief video
Wed, Jun 26 2019This morning, we saw a new, extremely brief teaser for a new version of the Dodge Charger SRT. We don't know exactly what the car is, but rumors and spy shots suggest that the big sedan could be getting the same treatment as the multiple Dodge Challenger widebody models. The teaser of course cuts just before you can see anything truly telling, but there are a few details we can glean. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the full reveal. The car appears to be painted B5 Blue, one of a number of knockout colors in FCA's portfolio. Through the cover we can see that the car gets the upgraded grille that we saw last summer. A pair of inlets helps feed more air into the engine bay. The lower intakes on the front bumper appear to be all new and much larger than anything else we've seen on the Charger so far. It's unclear what exactly that means, but it does give an already bold design an even more aggressive appearance. Over the past couple of years, Dodge revealed widebody versions of the Challenger R/T Scat Pack, Hellcat, Hellcat Redeye and the widebody only Dodge Demon. Each car is faster and more powerful than the last. The bulging fenders allow for a revised suspension setup, wider wheels and tires and a wider track for more stable handling. It makes an already big car even bigger, though you do get genuine improvements when it comes to performance handling.

SRT reveals Satin Vapor Edition 300, Charger and Challenger SRT models
Fri, 07 Feb 2014With the exception of some notable truck and van introductions, Chrysler brands have tended to use the Chicago Auto Show to bring out new special editions, pimp their aftermarket parts support or indulge in the occasional flight of fancy. That plan is holding true for 2014, as well. Cases in point are these new Satin Vapor Editions of the 2014-model-year Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 - all from SRT.
The Satin Vapor name may sound like a failed 1970s glam-rock band, or a pseudo-gynecological diagnosis from the Old West, but is, in fact, pretty much a tape-and-trim package for this trio of hi-po Mopars. 300, Challenger and Charger alike come shod with 20-inch aluminum wheels finished in Black Satin Vapor Chrome, and are accented with Satin Black bits aplenty. The 300 gets blacked-out mirrors, spoiler and roof; the Challenger applies it to mirrors and its fuel door; while the Charger has the stuff covering its roof, hood and Super Bee tail graphic.
Interiors of the cars have been mildly updated as well, with all three getting some combination of Nappa leather, ultra-suede and carbon-fiberish finishes.
