Hurst Dodge Challenger Series 5 Rare Mopar Muscle # 15 of only 17 No RESERVE!
She has been my baby, but no longer. Ridding myself of the finest muscle cars. The cost of this car was around $85K to my door in Florida. And still holds a considerable value in the NADA. Insured with Heacock Insurance for $82K
This is the real deal. Hurst only built 17 of these cars. For the true "Hurst fan" and or "Mopar fan"
Car has HURST Executive signatures (In Trunk)
This car has it all! See the pictures and or call me @ 863-255-4001. Starting this auction for all who want to own a rare piece of mucsle.
Don't fall for a few of the cheap knock of dress kit versions . This car started as an SRT8, shipped to Irvine California and was then re-tooled, painted, interiored and more. The "Hurst HRE Forged Wheels are the real deal and not Chinese knock offs" Beware of this on some of the cars that are selling for $50K-$60K ranges. Beware!
This car comes with the back up paperwork from Hurst, Car cover and a set of unused "Hurst Floor mats".
This car has not been driven much as you can see with the low mileage. Currenty the key fobs need battery replacement.
Look at "Hurst Build Sheet" included in the picture section. It will explain the add ons, super charged and truly professional job by Hurst. When this car shows it face, everyone turns and gives the highest regards!
Let me answer a few questions for those who would ask:
Shipping would be at the buyers expense. FOB Lakeland Florida 33813. I will not take responsibility for shipment coordination. I will meet the shipper in Lakeland Florida at a convienent loading place. Of course, funds must be paid in full prior to these arrangements.
Am abosolutely not interested in trades of any kind. Please bid to own and be prepared to make prompt payment with certified funds.
48-72 hours for full payment, if not the auction will be considered void.
Car is now for sale locally, I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime.
Good Luck in the bidding, I hope she goes to a good home. This car is #15. It was the last one built in 2009!

Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
2015 Dodge Viper GTC available in 25 million no-cost combos with 1 Of 1 bespoke program
Thu, Jan 8 2015What's the one thing no car can have too much of? Here's a hint – it's not power. It's not efficiency, either, or technology, or even safety. It's exclusivity. It's one reason Rolls-Royce has become a legend building absolutely bespoke motor vehicles, and it's the reason Dodge, of all companies, is offering a new GTC trim level for its Viper supercar. Now, you might be asking what's so special and exclusive about a trim level? Well, in the Viper GTC's case, it gives owners access to a catalog of 8,000 shades of paint for the exterior, 24,000 "hand-painted" custom stripe patterns, 10 different wheel options, 16 interior trims and no fewer than six aerodynamic packages. That results in 25 million different configurations for the 645-horsepower snake. Most shockingly, the customization choices come at no additional cost on the GTC model. And it's only the start. Ordering a GTC will enroll customers in a unique VIP program called Viper Concierge, which according to Dodge, "offers an exclusive point of contact throughout the custom Viper build process." In other words, buyers will be given the means to stay right on top of their car's production, through the 140-to-160-hour painting process, which itself will be fully documented with pictures and through a mobile-friendly website, to the actual construction of their GTC. The Concierge process will start with the ordering stage, which will include Dodge sending customers a paint chip showing the owner's custom choosing, which they can confirm or refuse. Shortly thereafter, Dodge will send buyers a 1:18-scale "speed-form" replica in their chosen custom colors, once again to confirm or deny the build. Once the buyer's color and option selection is locked-in, that car becomes a one-of-one Viper for that year – no other buyer will be permitted to build a Viper to the same specifications. The concierge service also grants access to the Viper Ambassador Owner's Portal, where orderers can track their car's build process, receive weekly updates and share their excitement with (jealous) friends and family. And once the car is complete, it will be fitted with a custom dash plaque identifying its bespoke provenance – the owner can choose to have their name put on the badge, the car's nickname, or whatever they wish (Dodge will also ship each Viper with a second blank plate to include if the original owner sells the car).
Autonomous tech will drive motorheads off the road
Thu, Nov 9 2017While autonomous technology could make car travel much safer and more efficient — and automakers and marketers are salivating over the prospect of a "passenger economy" that could potentially generate $7 trillion by 2050 — those of us who enjoy driving are not so stoked. Experts have predicted that as autonomous vehicles are deployed in large numbers, human-driven cars eventually could be outlawed on public roads due to the carnage they create, which is currently more than 41,000 deaths a year in the U.S. alone and climbing. Such scenarios have driving enthusiasts envisioning a "Red Barchetta" style nightmare becoming reality, making Rush lyricist Neil Peart a clairvoyant as well as one of rock's most badass skin-pounders. But there could be a couple of refuges left for motorheads, and they won't be on public roads. As Popular Science's Joe Brown points out in a recent editorial, we're seeing a wave of vehicles being offered by legit mainstream automakers that aren't made for public roads. The poster child of this vanguard is the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, which comes with a crate full of goodies that lets you turn the already formidable street-legal muscle car into a drag-strip dominator. Brown also notes that two out of five of the Ford GT's driving modes are for use on the track, "catering to the $450,000 machine's club-racing clientele." We're also currently enjoying the heyday of production off-road-ready pickups that kicked off with the Ford Raptor in 2009. The latest salvo in this escalating war of overachieving trucks is the Chevy Colorado ZR2 that can take on the likes of California's Rubicon Trail without issue. Brown also gives a shout-out to his magazine's Grand Award Winner, the Alta Motors Redshift MX, which "isn't even allowed on public roads" and is "meant for bombing around motocross tracks, big backyards and single-track woods trails." If you follow Brown on Instagram, you know that he's also a two-wheel aficionado, and he points out that sales of off-road bikes are leaving street machines in the dust. Sales of off-highway motorcycles rose 29 percent between 2012 and 2016, according to the ÂMotorcycle Industry Council — compared to 6 percent for road-bike sales during the same period. "That's a nearly 400-percent drubbing," Brown remarks.
