2013 Dodge Challenger Mr. Norm King Cuda Prototype Hemi Cuda on 2040-cars
Hudson, Florida, United States
2013 Dodge Challenger RT-Mr. Norm's King Cuda Prototype. This is the model that all the R & D went into to make the newest Mr. Norm model that is just becoming available to the public. This is your chance to own a piece of automotive history. This model was designed that for the budget minded Challenger owner. This car and model was designed so that it could be owned and financed by anyone. We set out to make a distinctively different challenger, one that looks great but doesn't break the bank. We started with a brand new Challenger RT six speed version, we added our hemi cuda leather interior, pistol grip shifter, our lowering springs made by Hotchkis for us, Mr. Norm resonator delete system(makes it sound like a muscle car) and SRT 8 20 inch forged rims & tires. The King Cuda packages also includes the following items: Black painted hemi billboards & hood stripe, real 1971 fender gills, Mr. Norm cuda grill painted argent silver, and our brand new hemi cuda tailpanel. This tailpanel is made out of aluminum then powdercoated black then we custom airbrush the molding around the surround and the taillights then it is clearcoated for a durable finish. Again the entire concept is to give you the look of a cuda but within reach of anyone. This car has less than 2000 miles and a full factory warranty remaining. It is like buying a brand new car. I have a very good friend owns the local Dodge dealership, he is going to run this transaction through his store so that we can consider your trade ins as well. They can handle any financing that you may need, again we are trying to make this as easy as possible so that some lucky person can be driving a part of automotive history. Please feel free to call me with any questions about this car or any Mr. Norm items at 813.789.6179. |

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.
2013 Dodge Dart GT offers subtle menace in compact form
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Dodge has already shared all of the relevant information about its all-new 2013 Dart GT, but it wasn't until now that we've seen the car, live and in person. The slightly meaner front fascia and bigger wheels look great on the Dodge, and the red-on-black perforated seats are sporting in an aftermarket sort of way.
To recap: The Dart GT also gets a bit more power, using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to make 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A starting price of $20,995 will get you LED taillights, dual exhaust, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Feel free to re-acquaint yourselves with the full Dodge Dart GT information in the press release below, or have a leisurely browse through our gallery of live images.
Legacy Classic Power Wagon First Drive
Wed, Oct 7 2015Shortly before the US entered World War II, Dodge supplied the military with a line of pickups internally codenamed WC, those letters designating the year 1941 and the half-ton payload rating. From 1941 to 1945 Dodge built more than a quarter million of them, and even though "WC" came to refer to the Weapons Carrier body style, the WC range served in 38 different configurations from pickup trucks to ambulances to six-wheeled personnel and weapons haulers. The story is that soldiers returning from active duty badgered Dodge for a civilian version of that indefatigable warhorse, so Dodge responded with the Power Wagon in 1946. Even for those no-nonsense times the truck was so austere that the first three names Dodge gave it were "Farm Utility Truck," "WDX General Purpose Truck," and "General Purpose, One Ton Truck." "Power Wagon" was the fourth choice, not finalized until just before it went on sale. Nothing like today's Power Wagon, the original could be seen as either a glorified tractor or a slightly less uncouth military vehicle – hell-for-leather meant going 50 miles per hour. But it would go nearly anywhere. The civilian version was still built like it had to survive, well, a world war; power take-offs (PTOs) ran all manner of ancillaries; multiplicative gear ratios helped it produce enough torque to make an earthquake envious. Said to be the first civilian 4x4 truck made in America, any organization that needed a simple, sturdy mechanized draught animal knew it needed a Power Wagon. If history, the aura of war, and ruthless functionality attract you but mean comforts and 70-year-old manners don't, then you need to get in touch with Legacy Classic Trucks. If that history, the aura of war, and the ruthless functionality attract you but the mean comforts and 70-year-old manners don't, then you need to get in touch with Legacy Classic Trucks. The Jackson Hole, WY, restorer retains every ounce of the Power Wagon's orchard-work aptitude, decorated with present-day amenities and the best components. Each job starts with having to find a usable donor. The city of Breckenridge, CO, bought the red truck in our gallery in 1947 and used it as a snowplow for the next 30 years. In 1977 a log-home builder bought it from the city and used it for another decade as a company hauler. That's the kind of grueling longevity that lets Ram put a five-figure premium on the 2500 Power Wagon pickup it sells today. Legacy Classics founder Winslow S.
