2011 Dodge Challenger Srt8 Coupe 2-door 6.4l on 2040-cars
Ontario, Oregon, United States
2011 SRT8 392 Inaugural Edition Dodge Challenger #576/1100 in the deep water blue pearl with stone white tip-to-toe racing stripes. A unique grille surround features body color accent paint while a bold "392 HEMI" badge graces the fender. Other exclusive features include: 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with black pockets, Mopar quad-style exhaust tips, and special 392 HEMI engine valve covers. The interior is highlighted by Nappa Pearl leather seating surfaces with a double Blue vertical stripe. All seats are piped and stitched in Blue and feature the "392" logo for an even more dramatic look. Other unique features include: Pearl inserts on the door-trim panels. Silver Metal Brush grab handles; Silver Metal Brush center stack and console bezels; Blue accent stitching on armrest, steering wheel, ATX knob or MTX boot; serialized dash plaque; quarter-glass decal with Mopar logo; and key fob with "392" logo. This beauty is my baby. It has been meticulously cared for, always garaged, covered with a Challenger car cover and in near mint condition!! At only 3,620 miles, it has hardly been broken in. I purchased the vehicle new and immediately installed Mopar mud guards, front and rear. This vehicle has never been driven in the snow and rarely seen rain. I try to avoid gravel roads, sanded roads and inclement weather. The sole purpose for selling my baby is that I own another Dodge Challenger SRT8 and have custom ordered another new vehicle. I have clear title in hand. I took the photographs at the dealership where I purchased the vehicle new. This is a privately owned vehicle, not a dealer vehicle. |

Say goodbye to the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200
Wed, Jan 27 2016Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne outlined an update to the company's five-year business plan Wednesday, and among the changes, the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 sedans will soon be phased out. The company's presentation to investors states that the "market shift from cars to trucks and UVs [utility vehicles is] now seen as permanent shift in demand," and FCA wants to respond as quickly as possible. Killing the 200 and Dart will allow FCA to build more Jeep and Ram models at the Sterling Heights, MI, and Belvidere, IL, plants where the sedans were produced. We already knew FCA was planning to shift 200 and Dart production to Mexico, to free up the Sterling Heights facility for Ram 1500 production, and the Belivdere site for Jeep Cherokee output. The Cherokee will move from its current home in Toledo, OH, to allow for increased Wrangler production. It's no shock that FCA wants to shift its focus to crossovers and trucks. In December 2015, for example, combined sales of the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 were 15,310. The Jeep Cherokee, which uses the same platform as the Dart and 200, outsold both models combined, with 24,049 sales. Both the Dart and 200 had troubles from the beginning. Marchionne recently blamed designers for the 200 not receiving a Consumer Reports 'recommended' rating, and the Dart was one of the lowest-scoring cars in a CR reliability study. Woodward Dream Cruise Photo Gallery | Classics and American muscle
Sun, Aug 21 2022The 2022 running of the Woodward Dream Cruise just went down, and we were there from morning to evening drinking in the sweet sights and pre-emissions exhaust fumes. Yes, it’s a little smelly on Woodward Ave. this time of year. Just like always, the Dream Cruise invites all comers to cruise their machines on Woodward from Ferndale, MI to Pontiac, MI. Everybody is invited, but the original intent of the Dream Cruise was to highlight classic American muscle cars. YouÂ’ll see plenty of those in our mega gallery above, but weÂ’ve sprinkled it with a bunch of other vehicle types, such as modern muscle and other intriguing American vehicles. Similar to years past, though, sometimes the classics arenÂ’t the most entertaining thing to look at on Woodward. ThatÂ’s why weÂ’ll have other mega galleries coming soon, highlighting the weird cars and (great) dogs of the Cruise, all the imports and exotics you can imagine and a special one for all the trucks of Woodward — perhaps even more so than in years past, the truck population on Dream Cruise day was quite high. Click through above to see all the classics you wouldÂ’ve seen had you been roadside on the day of the cruise. And if you missed this yearÂ’s event, make sure you check out what happens next year. You wonÂ’t be alone, as itÂ’s estimated that over 1 million people attend the Dream Cruise to either watch from the side of the road or to sit in the most glorious traffic jam in the world. Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production
Wed, Dec 10 2014Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
