Up for sale is my wife's 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT-8. We are the original owners of this vehicle. It has been driven very little since new, as our office is a short distance from our home. This vehicle shows "as new" and has no noticeable wear or damage to be found. It has always been garage kept and recently had a new battery installed. The front tires were replaced under 3,000 miles ago, and the rear tires are the originals which are now in need of replacing. We decided to let the new owner of this vehicle decide if they would like to go back to original Goodyears of the factory size or to upgrade to a larger tire (for better grip) or to go with a different tire brand altogether. I have no problem working out an arrangement where we will install new rear tires (of the buyers choice) on the vehicle prior to delivery/pickup.

We own a company that manufactures high performance products for modern vehicles, so this car has been outfitted with three tasteful performance enhancements that do not effect the appearance, sound or reliability of the vehicle in any way. These upgrades include our company's air intake upgrade, a dyno developed custom computer calibration and a fully ported intake manifold. These modifications have been dyno tested to increase the rear wheel HP by 40 over the factory stock level. The air intake upgrade added 14 to 15 HP, the tuning added 15 HP and the intake manifold added between 10 to 15 HP, depending on the engine RPM. We would be happy to provide all of the test data to any interested party, and it can also be viewed on our company website.

Now that Fiat is in control of Dodge, the Challenger is slated to be discontinued. The "First Edition" is the only numbered version of the Challenger to be released, and the options were limited to Summer Tires, a 20 gigabyte navigation and entertainment center and a sunroof. There were only three colors available: Orange, Black and Silver. This vehicle has all options but the sunroof. When these cars were new, they commanded a very high premium over sticker price, so you will often find many sellers asking prices that rival what a new Challenger sells for today. This vehicle is priced at a reasonable level, below current book value.

2015 Dodge Challenger gets 6.4L 485-HP V8 Scat Pack

While it's not seeing the drastic facelift of its brother, the Charger, at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the 2015 Challenger is packing some upgrades of its own. It wears even more retro-inspired styling cues, and there are new 6.4-liter Scat Pack and Shaker trims.
If you thought the Challenger looked retro before, Dodge is taking things even farther with inspiration for the refresh coming from the iconic 1971 model. Up front, it has a new split grille, a larger power bulge in the hood and projector fog lights. At the rear, the classic inspiration continues with split LED taillights with Gloss Black trim, and a rear valance panel redesigned to make the 2015 model look wider and lower.
The '71 motif is carried inside as well with a high-sill center console and aluminum gauge bezels. There's still more than a touch of modernity, with an available 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system and 7-inch customizable display between the retro-inspired speedometer and tachometer. For better safety, the Challenger is also now available with forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross path detection. Stability control and electric power steering are standard across all models too.
