                         Originally a South Carolina Car and Restored in the Year 2010 this is a solid rust free car .

 

 The Brilliant Plum Purple shines deep and is smooth and finished to a high degree of luster . It wears correct RT striping like a tuxedo and coordinates very handsomely with the Black Vinyl Top which adds so much to this distinctive Muscle Car !

 The interior is in top condition and maintains it’s original status with the exception of an after market stereo in dash . The Factory Dash Tachometer works perfectly as well as the amperes gauge and fuel gauge.  (The factory dash clocks works on occasion .) Aftermarket oil pressure/temperature/ Volt gauge installed under dash .

 The Hurst Pistol Grip  shifter Stares at you and says  ~ “ Yeah come on  ~ Make Your Day “ !  Another Sexy feature is that this Challenger Sports a SE drivers wheel !

An original 1970 Mopar  340 CI  High Compression V8 rebuilt with X – Heads  and a .484 lift Cam  ~ Edelbrock Intake and  800 cfm 4bbl Carburetor. 

 

Approximately 375 HP of High Revving Performance are released thru Tuned Headers and Dual  Flow Masters double chamber mufflers to the dual stainless exhuast tips .

 

                                       The Narley Lumpy ~ Snap ~ Crackle and Pop is Muscle Car Symphony !

 

 The 4 Speed Hurst Pistol Grip is connected to one of the most durable Transmissions in the History of American MuscleCar Era .  The A – 833  ~ Chrysler four speed trans ~ This one shifts tight and direct with out any synchro noise or growl .  Just Push and Pull as much as you want ….

 

The Rear Ratio in the 81/2 rear is 3:23 and gives the car a great highway touring capability that wont have you stopping for fuel every few miles !

This Challenger rides on four 15 “ BF Goodrich Radial T/A ‘ S  ~ Fronts 245-60-15 ~ Rears 255-60-15 . They are wrapped around Original Style  15’ Dodge Rally Wheels .

 

This Challenger Rides and Handles smooth and tight with very good handling as these challengers were meant to perform on the road and track .

                                 Overall this is one Great looking and Driving Period Correct Dodge Challenger RT !

 

It maintains all correct body and chassis parts and numbers and has a better than the original 1973 engine being a higher Horsepower Correct 1970 340 CI that is built in the manner of a Mopar correct modified performance 340 putting out 375 hp . They didn’t get kind of HP from a 1973 !

 

The Hurst 4 speed is a rare find and having this one finished in Plum Purple Crazy makes this the Best Example of these particular Challengers.

 

The car is close to show quality but is one to drive .  Everything functions correctly with the exception of the clock and the aftermarket radio needs a power supply . There are no leaks or mechanical drive train issues and it has had a new clutch recently installed.
