1994 CNG Dodge Caravan.  This is a RARE van!!  VERY LOW MILES!!!  This van was used in city government operation and not driven much over the years.  We have maintained this van in excellent condition.  We have receipts for all work done since we purchased it less than 2 years ago.  Some of the items we have replaced are the air conditioner compressor, a drive train half shaft.  Cooling system flushed, New tires installed.  Front end alignment.  Replaced the belt idler pully.

We have changed the oil every 6000 miles and operated with Mobil 1 synthetic oil.  The van has good paint and has been repainted within the past few years.  Very clean in and out.  In California you can drive in the car pool lane with only one person!!

We have used this van as a work commuter car and it has been very reliable.  CNG in California only costs around 2 dollars a gallon.  The cost of operating this van is HALF the normal cost because fuel is so low.  We have saved so much time by legally driving in the car pool lane with one person.  Pass by thousands and you zoom to your destination in much less time driving the carpool lanes of California.

The range per tank of fuel is about 160 miles highway and 130 mile local driving.  The fuel tanks are expired but do not leak and have no problems.

This is an excellent local commuter car that is great for the environment and VERY inexpensive to operate with unlimited access to California carpool lanes.  We have really enjoyed it.  We are selling because we purchased a CNG Honda Civic and have too many cars now.

2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.

2015 Dodge Viper getting small increase in power

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

The Viper is used to being the most powerful car in the Dodge and SRT stables, but the arrival of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat means that's no longer the case. The serpentine supercar is, however, reportedly getting a small boost in output for 2015, amounting to all of five horsepower.
The increase was uncovered by Road & Track courtesy of the SAE J1349 certification process to which Detroit's Big Three automakers submit themselves and which reports the Viper's output at 645 hp instead of the 640 it was rated at until now. There are a hundred factors that could have contributed to the relatively mild boost in output (best guess? nothing at all changed...), but we doubt anyone's going to complain about some extra horses under the hood.
The five-horsepower boost brings the Viper that much closer to the 650-hp Chevy Corvette Z06, not to mention the 707-hp Hellcat, but the Viper's impressive power-to-weight ratio ought to mean it'll have little problem keeping up in a straight line - which is just one of the reasons why Chrysler won't shoe-horn the Hellcat into the Viper: as R&T points out, the supercharged engine is too heavy and the blower makes it too tall to fit in the Viper's engine bay.

Dodge Charger R/T NHRA Funny Car is ready to burn rubber at SEMA [w/video]

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

The Dodge Charger R/T is all set to rocket down the drag strip in NHRA Funny Car competition with a completely redesigned body debuting at this year's SEMA Show. While only the front decal, side scallops and rear logo really signal this racer as a Charger, that doesn't take away from its promise of hitting absolutely ludicrous speeds.
The engineers' biggest tweak to the body was moving the cockpit further back. This created more clearance under the hood, and the change came with added advantage of giving the driver better visibility out of the car. Composites like Kevlar also helped make the one-piece shell even lighter, while not sacrificing strength.
The new design has already undergone extensive time in the wind tunnel and real-world runs to make sure that none of the changes negatively impacted the aerodynamics. With those tests out of the way, the Charger R/T Funny Car will have the first chance to truly prove itself in NHRA competition at the 2015 Winternationals from February 5-9 at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, CA.
