My wife has proudly owned this great VIPER for the last 10 years. She is a true car person and this was the gem of her collection. To ride and drive in this car is an amazing experience. Vipers of this era have no computer control. Just your driving ability versus a 10 cylinder engine and six forward speeds (Yes there is a reverse) . Each one faster than the one before. We have all the service and repair records for the last ten years. The car is in superb condition. Although we don't drive it much these days. I took it to the local car club meeting this weekend and it ran beautifully. You will not go wrong buying this car.

We are downsizing and find ourselves in the position of owning more cars than we have room for in the garage, and a car that made sense for her to own in her forties, seems a little over the top for this wonderful woman a decade later.

The car has been in two notable accidents that I am aware of, one a year ago which resulted in minor front vendor damage and we had the car fully repaired and repainted by a local shop at that time. The other 15 years ago when it a previous owner spun it out and it wound up just far enough into a ditch full of water to result in a salvage title.

Now, if you aren't familiar with this car, know that it was built to be driven without a top! So the windows have to be manually inserted! and slid open like an airplane! we have two sets! And a soft top and a hard top!

Chrysler readying 20 Moparized vehicles for SEMA

The Las Vegas Convention Center has plenty of space for aftermarket companies and automakers to show off their wares, and it looks like Chrysler is taking advantage of the spacious floor plan. At next month's SEMA Show, Chrysler will have a full 20 cars from its six brands decked out with Mopar gear.
As a hint of what is to come, Chrysler released a handful of teaser sketches showing glimpses of modified Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concept vehicles. The automaker will also use the venue to show off a new line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. In addition to the images, Chrysler also issued a brief press release - posted below - breaking down some of the "industry-first features" that Mopar has offered in recent years.

2014 Dodge Durango bows with eight-speed auto, updated looks [w/video]

Dodge has significantly updated its full-size Durango for the 2014 model year, giving the seven-passenger hauler a fresh look and a well-rounded boost of competitive features as it enters its fourth year in the showroom.
Cosmetically, it is hard to miss the revised front end with projector-beam headlamps and LED daytime running lamps, "floating" crosshair grille, a taller front bumper and a new lower fascia. The rear end of the facelifted Durango has been redesigned with the automaker's now-signature LED "racetrack" taillamps and resculpted rear fascia. All of the wheels are new too, with 18- and 20-inch options for each trim level with a variety of factory finishes.
Inside the cabin, buyers can select the automaker's latest Uconnect infotainment system with a full suite of infotainment features and connectivity accessed through an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Other optional goodies include a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seating and a Blu-Ray player capable of running unique programs on the twin individual rear monitors.
