Gorgeous original California car. I transport the car back and forth between upstate NY and SW FL in the spring and fall. I am a retired Dodge dealer and I buy and sell Vipers occasionally for enjoyment. I am ready to move this amazing car on to a new owner as I am waiting for a Gen V ACR when it becomes available. Here is a list of important items pertaining to this Viper:
12,499 miles...may be more by the time this is over as I may drive the car a short distance occasionally if this wet weather will ever go away.
Hard Core Edition meaning no radio, no speakers, no underhood insulation pad, no trunk carpeting. However, I purchased the Mopar trunk carpet kit and it is installed but not permanently so it can be taken out when desired.
Shorty shifter but I also have the OEM shifter which will come with the car.
Car totally stock except for Clear Bra installed by the original owner.
Chrysler 7 yr, /70,000 mi. Maximum Care service contract with $100 deduct. Eff. 8/26/08. Expires 8/25/15 or 70,000 mi.
New set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires installed on 8/24/12 at 11,814 mi. I have the take-off Pilot Sport Cups which can go with the car if desired.
All original equipment that came with the car including the original protective plastic shipping seat covers, all books, papers and documents, etc. in a special binder. Front splitter insert and lap timer, etc.
New Mopar 800 CCA battery installed on 5/11/13.
Complete LOF service by the certified Viper Tech's at Naples Dodge in Naples, FL on 3/8/13 at 12,368 mi..
Original MSRP (Monroney) label in a beautiful custom frame.
Gorgeous framed photo of the car signed by all the craftspeople that built the car at Conner Ave. Viper Assembly Plant.
Radio delete plate on dash signed by Team Viper management. (see photo)
Included is a "skip shift eliminator" wiring harness but I just haven't taken time to install it yet.
Car is a street cruiser only and has never been tracked or otherwise engaged in any contest of speed or power. (But not a trailer queen either)
Two tubes of Mopar touch-up paint.
This is the car everyone is looking for and is one of the most desirable Viper models ever built.
Contact me for any additional information or clarification of any of the above.
Vehicle available for sale locally and through other avenues and I reserve the right to end this presentation at any time.

Brits recreate iconic Bullitt chase scene
Tue, 13 May 2014Recreating the famous chase scene from Bullitt has become almost an art form in its own right. We've seen it done in a music video, with scale models and even in commercials. There are few films that are as defined by a single scene as the 1968 classic. Even if you don't know a single beat of the plot, the Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through the hilly streets of San Francisco is famous. It's so well known that the Silverstone Classic has created a homage to promote its celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang at this year's event in July.
Filmed around the famous UK circuit, the short film generally gets the key points of the scene right. It even has a green Volkswagen Beetle that keeps reappearing, as in the movie. Unfortunately, its Steve McQueen stand-in looks a little too old for the role. While the video shortens the chase considerably, it's still great to see these '60s behemoths leaning and sliding around the track. Scroll down for a touch of nostalgia thanks to one of the greatest scenes ever in cinema - we've got both the recreation and the original chase seen from the movie waiting for you.
2015 Dodge Viper getting small increase in power
Tue, 29 Jul 2014The Viper is used to being the most powerful car in the Dodge and SRT stables, but the arrival of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat means that's no longer the case. The serpentine supercar is, however, reportedly getting a small boost in output for 2015, amounting to all of five horsepower.
The increase was uncovered by Road & Track courtesy of the SAE J1349 certification process to which Detroit's Big Three automakers submit themselves and which reports the Viper's output at 645 hp instead of the 640 it was rated at until now. There are a hundred factors that could have contributed to the relatively mild boost in output (best guess? nothing at all changed...), but we doubt anyone's going to complain about some extra horses under the hood.
The five-horsepower boost brings the Viper that much closer to the 650-hp Chevy Corvette Z06, not to mention the 707-hp Hellcat, but the Viper's impressive power-to-weight ratio ought to mean it'll have little problem keeping up in a straight line - which is just one of the reasons why Chrysler won't shoe-horn the Hellcat into the Viper: as R&T points out, the supercharged engine is too heavy and the blower makes it too tall to fit in the Viper's engine bay.
Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. You can check out Consumer Reports entire reliability roundup, even without a subscription, here.
