First, I am not good with a camera, but I am darn good at working on and taking care of my cars so excuse the poor photos. This is my 2005 Viper SRT-10 Convertible, LIMITED VCA Edition (this is #27 of 50 made!) and my personal car-I am NOT a dealer nor do I want calls from "services". This is a 950 RWHP on 93 octane pump gas (Aviation or race fuel the car can be dialed a lot higher power levels-estimated 1200+ RWHP), Supercharged, HIGH MODIFIED FULLY built motor that started out as a 505 cubic inch motor. Car looks like it jumped out of a magazine and also has never ever been beaten in a race-period. If you want the fastest and coolest thing on the road, this is for you. You can pull up to a Murcielago Lamborghini running NOS or whatever and leave it in the dust and capture the attention of any chick made. The car has forged crank, rods, pistons, ported Greg Good heads, 20 fuel injectors on two independent fuel systems (Doug Levin Motorsports did this) 10 rib Paxton Pulley system ($3500 upgrade), so it gets great around town fuel economy and when needed it goes nuclear with the second set (non-stock) of fuel injectors kicking in on its own circuit and pump. The car has full MOTON suspension down to the coils and also Nitrogen externally modified MOTON shocks and the thing HOOKS UP AND GOES, not all spin as the car is dialed in to hook! To say this flys is a gross understatement-in fact you have to know how to drive very well or you can die or kill others if you are not familiar with something of this magnitude. So please THINK about this before buying-this is not for the faint of heart and the power creeps up on you quickly despite the oversized Mickey-Thompson Super Competition Drag Radials grabbing the pavement and power runs through the trans connected to a twin disk SPEC clutch which can handle the 1100 crank HP on drag radials yet shift like a stock Viper (clutch has maybe 1000 miles on it). The car had a LIGHT hit in the front and needed a fender as the very front of it pushed in a hair and front cover was replaced. When I had the work done, I had the 2010 (2008-2010) Viper hood installed as it looks a lot nicer than the 2005 hood that was used from 2003-2006. This is car #27 of #50 made and has the carbon fiber door inserts from Doug Levin Motorsports on it showing the numbers, as well as the inside number and is VERY RARE. I have never seen another one in my life and I know some got totaled already, so this is money in the bank that you can enjoy.
After I purchased the car years ago, I had the car gone over by Doug Levin within the last 2 years and he put another Supercharger on it as the one I had one there was having issues, he added a 10 rub pully system, bigger intercooler&pumps and tuned it. The car has a modified split Second box on it running the controllers, so state inspection is NOT an issue as it has the stock PCM still also with the included SCT tuner tool that only control the cooling system (this runs PERFECT even in 100+ temps!). The car is near perfect condition and not sales nonsense-it REALLY is and looks HOT! A few underneath marks under the nose-ask any Viper owner and they all have them but just disclosing this. The motor has 50K in mods, suspension 30K, 20K in fuel mods, et cetera plus the car and anyhow you can see we are in the 200K+ zone quickly. Oh yes, there are Forgeline rims too, I think 8-10K but anyhow you get the idea and I am not listing everything as cars of this caliber need $1000 radiators and such and this has all the goodies-no money spared. My convertible top looks new too, car is garage kept in my heated garages and car has 17K miles on it and on the engine I think 9K miles since it was fully rebuilt. Serious people please and no you cannot drive the car unless you can prove to me you can drive 950 RWHP machines. Note to readers, there are virtually NO 950 RWHP cars in the world running around on pump gas-this takes BIG BUCKS to do and why the car has never lost a race. Car is sold as-is where is with no warranty but we can hop in it and drive 500 miles without any hesitation presale-in fact I have personally driven it in 9 states in the past 2 years myself and it is reliable, fast as can be, durable and still easily knocks down 20 MPG in the highway cruising with the 6 speed transmission. Yes my license plate says 08Viper, I had an 08 and used the same plate on my 05 but it is an 05 yet looks like a 2008-2010 model because I put a 2008-2010 hood on it. Priced to sell $97,000 and I do not want trades!!! Clear title, I paid cash for it so no waiting or title issues. Car is sold as-is where is, but please know how to drive or you could kill yourself or others in this car-seriously. Only experienced drivers should purchase a car like this or at the very least SLOWLY learn the car as people's lives are at stake. NO PAYPAL other than a $1,000 deposit, balance is cash, bank wire or certified check that clears before the car moves and ANY doubt as to it clearing the car will be held until I am 100% sure funds are in hand. 856-486-1297 Gary 10-7 M-F

Junkyard Gem: 1977 Dodge Colt Mileage Maker Coupe
Sat, Dec 11 2021While Ford and GM each had the resources to develop their own Michigan-designed subcompacts for the dawn of the 1970s— the Pinto and Vega, respectively— Chrysler couldn't afford the huge price tag for such a project. Instead, Chrysler's European operations were tapped for a couple of models that sold well enough on the other side of the Atlantic, giving us the Plymouth Cricket (known as the Hillman Avenger in the UK) and the Simca 1204 (aka the Simca 1100 in France). American car shoppers gave those two models the cold shoulder, but then Chrysler found genuine sales success by making a deal with Mitsubishi to sell the Colt Galant with left-hand drive. This became the Dodge Colt, with sales beginning in the 1971 model year. Though the 1971-1978 rear-wheel-drive Colts were once as commonplace as Corollas or B210s on American roads, they have all but disappeared today. That makes today's Junkyard Find, discovered in a Denver-area yard last week, particularly interesting. This car shows signs of having been in the hands of a speed-crazed enthusiast owner, including an aftermarket steering wheel and one-piece racing seats with slots for five-point harnesses. The primer-gray paint is another clue. The rear-wheel-drive Colts were reasonably quick for their time, and they could be made genuinely quick with basic engine upgrades. This Mitsubishi Saturn four-banger has a tube header, hot-rod ignition system, and a two-barrel (Mikuni-made) Solex carburetor. We can assume there's probably some kind of cam upgrade under the valve cover, too. The shifter is gone, but the original transmission in this car was either the base four-speed or optional five-speed manual. A three-speed automatic was available for $270 (about $1,275 today). Later on, front-wheel-drive Colts (and Mitsubishi Mirages) could be bought with the Twin-Stick overdrive rig, which gave drivers eight forward speeds and the opportunity to make Twin-Stick beer taps. The 1977-1978 Dodge Colt two- and four-door sedans were based on the Mitsubishi Lancer and were a bit smaller than the 1971-1977 cars, while the wagon version moved to the Galant Sigma platform. The build tag shows that this car started life as the cheapest 1977 Colt model, the "Mileage Maker" two-door sedan (Dodge dealers called it a coupe, so that's what I'm calling it in the title).
2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye is the Demon spawn
Thu, Jun 28 2018The Demon has passed from us, but the Demon's spawn are here, so please allow them to introduce themselves. A new demi-Demon trim level has been anointed as the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Plus there's an updated Challenger SRT Hellcat and new Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody. Like with the Charger introduced this morning, they have inherited some of the best parts from the Demon. The Hellcat Redeye is possessed by the Demon's howling supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi, making 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. Dodge proclaims it the "most powerful production V8" and "quickest production muscle car," with a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds and quarter-mile time of 10.8 seconds at 131 mph. Top speed: 203 mph. Dodge can claim these superlatives, of course, because the 840-horsepower Demon's limited production run has ended. The Hellcat Redeye's Hemi is paired with an eight-speed automatic. Dodge says the powerplant gets 25 major component upgrades, including a larger supercharger (2.7 liters, up from 2.4) with higher boost pressure (14.5 psi, up from 11.6), strengthened connecting rods, pistons and valve train, high-capacity fuel injection system and improved lubrication. It gets a second fuel pump and a higher redline of 6,500 rpm. Theoretically, if you were someplace where you could operate at full throttle without letting up, Dodge says the Hemi would drain the fuel tank in under 11 minutes. Yet the car gets a 22 mpg highway rating from the EPA. View 30 Photos It also has the Torque Reserve system that starts building boost before launching, as well as the air conditioned intercooler to provide extra cool intake air. Both of these were features in the Demon. Furthermore, if the standard 2.62:1 final ratio isn't quick enough for you, Dodge offers a 3.09:1 rear axle. The Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye also comes with the Demon and Hellcat Widebody's fat fender flares. It's an unsurprising inclusion, since you'll want as much tire as possible for all that power. Now, a mere clear-eyed Challenger SRT Hellcat gets a 10-horse boost for 2019 to 717 horsepower, and a smidge more torque at 656 pound feet. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, and an eight-speed automatic is an option. Both Hellcat models get the new dual-snorkel hood we've seen in spy shots. It's meant to evoke 1970s Dodge muscle cars. Dodge says the airflow from the hood alone reduces engine temperature by 4 degrees Fahrenheit.
Star Wars Episode VII ad is a force for Dodge
Fri, Dec 18 2015Happy Star Wars day! Some of you might be bleary eyed and begging for coffee after attending midnight screenings of Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens last night (*raises hand*) but the show must go on. And for Dodge, that show has been all about Star Wars. While the entirety of FCA joined the tie-in marketing campaign for the long-awaited JJ Abrams blockbuster, Dodge made out the best. According to Wards Auto, the brand's The Force Gathers spot took the top spot in this week's most engaging automotive ads, capturing nearly a quarter of share-of-voice ratings and garnering over a quarter-of-a-million earned online views. Since the ad began airing earlier this month, it's scored over 430,000 views on YouTube alone. The relatively simple ad evokes Darth Vader and his legions of storm troopers. In the 30-second spot, a black Viper leads six long columns of white Chargers, Challengers, and Durangos while John Williams' iconic Imperial March blares in the background. It ends at the stand of an overwhelmed pair of valets outside a screening for Episode VII. We've embedded the spot at the top of the page if you haven't seen it. Check it out, and may the Force be with you. Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens is in theaters today. Related Video:
