This is a MUSEUM QUALITY 2002 Dodge Viper RT-10 Roadster with only 1,505 original miles.  A truly amazing cream puff that has enjoyed pride of ownership it's entire life.  Yes, it has NEVER seen rain or snow and it has NEVER been raced or tracked.  This is 1 of 1 ..... The only 2002 RT-10 produced in Viper Race Yellow exterior and Cognac Connolly leather interior. After I purchased this car from a collector in 2012 with only 900 original miles I purchased and installed a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's (275/35R18 fronts) and (335/30r18 rears).  I purchased and installed a set of smooth air inlet tubes and K&N air filters.  I transported the car to Phoenix where I had nationally recognized Viper Technician, Mr. Eddie Martin of Bill Luke Dodge thoroughly inspect the car and perform the following service: AC system recharge, new four wheel alignment, grease all suspension fittings, belts and hoses, new wiper blades, complete engine and throttle body decarb, calibrate air inflow, replace engine oil and filter, replace power steering fluid, Flush radiator and replace engine coolant, replace power steering fluid, replace rear differential fluid, replace transmission fluid, calibrate engine hood hinges, replace brake fluid, replace clutch fluid.  I have driven this car approximately 600 miles during my ownership and only under perfect weather conditions found only in the Sonoran Desert during the cool season.  This car has been cherished and cared for, and stored in a temperature controlled garage at my home in Tucson.  The car comes with the factory hard and soft top and a color matched car cover.  It has absolutely gorgeous Fikse 10-spoke aluminum wheels.  While the factory mufflers inside the side sills are still in place, the original rear muffler under the fuel tank has been replaced with straight pipes that give it a throatier sound that is quite pleasing.  The car passed emissions with flying colors.  It runs strong and true.  Other than what I have stated, the car is factory original.  The condition of the car is absolutely amazing.  Too good for a collector.  It should be institutionalized.  I'm downsizing to a smaller home and releasing my toys.  Painful but necessary.

Mopar introduces winter tire and wheel packages

Wed, Dec 2 2015

Winter is coming, and Mopar will try to help drivers stay safe in the cold weather this year by offering a winter tire and wheel package for a variety of FCA US vehicles for the first time. The packages combine everything drivers need to be prepared for slick roads, including winter tires, steel wheels, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensors. Even better, the company delivers them mounted, balanced, and ready for installation. Customers can order the bundles from dealers now. Mopar offers packages with the General Altimax Arctic tire on the Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country, Jeep Cherokee, and Chrysler 200. All- and rear-wheel drive configurations of the Chrysler 300 get the Michelin X-Ice Xi3, and the all- and rear-drive Dodge Charger models use the Continental WinterContact SI. Depending on the vehicle, prices vary between $242 and $292 per wheel, and Mopar will expand the program to even more models next year. Spending the extra money on winter tires really can make a difference. Experts are clear that the specialized rubber simply works better when the weather gets cold. They can shorten braking distances and improve traction – even with all-wheel drive. Plus, winter tires can often last for more than one year, which spreads out the investment. The all-new Mopar winter wheel assemblies are available for order for a variety of FCA US vehicles. Assemblies include a winter tire, steel rim and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and are delivered mounted and balanced, so you or your dealership can quickly and easily pop off all-season rims and rubber and put on cold-weather appropriate gear. "Mopar is rolling out our first-ever offering of winter wheel assemblies for those customers who desire a little extra control during the cold weather seasons," said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA – Global.
