We have for sale a very special and limited edition of the Dodge Viper. This one owner car's engine was modified from the ground up by John Lingenfelter before he passed away in December of 2003. The valve covers were signed by Lingenfelter himself when the car was completed. The vehicle has only 6021 original miles on it and has never seen snow or rain and is kept in a climate controlled garage year round. The engine is rated at 730 horsepower. The vehicle had brake upgrades done and has four wheel Stop Tech brakes including rotors and calipers.
The car's interior has all the normal Viper features and has been upgraded with a custom interior as can be seen in the photo's. The car has both front and rear spoilers, both being adjustable to change the level of down force they create. The seats are done in a two tone finish with a large "Viper" directly in the center of each seat. The carpet is black and is in near perfect condition looking brand new. The rear and side windows have been tinted with a mirror finish to complete an outstanding exterior look. There is absolutely no rust or other body issues with this vehicle.
We will re-inspect this car before it is delivered and it will have new Pennsylvania safety and emissions stickers, we will also service the vehicle from top to bottom including changing the oil with Mobile 1.
This is an opportunity to own a car that was built and signed off on after being driven by a true legend. This car is 100% there, nothing was left to compromise, the engine upgrade alone was over $40,000.00 over ten years ago (what's that in todays money?) and we have the paperwork and dyno sheets to prove it.
If you have an interest in this one of a kind supercar please contact Carlevale Custom Cars at 717-685-1341. The car can be seen by appointment only.

470,000 Jeep Liberty, Chrysler 200, and Dodge Avenger models recalled for restraint defect
Sat, Oct 14 2017Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said on Friday it is recalling 470,000 vehicles worldwide to replace a component that may inhibit deployment of the vehicles' active head restraints in the event of a crash. Around 414,000 of those vehicles were sold in the United States. Apparently, "a component common to the modules of certain vehicles may degrade after extensive vehicle use." The recall covers 2012 Jeep Liberty sport utility vehicles and 2012-13 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger midsize cars. FCA says a warning light may alert owners to the problem. The Italian-American automaker said it is unaware of any injuries or accidents related to the recall. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened an investigation into the issue in June. (Reporting by David Shepardson; Editing by Steve Orlofsky) Related Video:
Awesomely '80s time-capsule Dodge Daytona Turbo on Bring a Trailer
Thu, Feb 20 2020From the humble K-car, Chrysler in the 1980s was able to spin out all manner of variants, including some fairly credible (for the time) performance machines. One of the most ambitious was the Dodge Daytona Turbo, and a rarely seen example in near-new condition is selling today on Bring a Trailer. [UPDATE: The car was bid to $9,300 but failed to meet reserve. It is now for sale on the dealer's website with an asking price of $19,900.] The Daytona Turbo featured a 2.2-liter four to which was bolted a Garrett To3 turbocharger, bringing output to 143 horses and 160 pound-feet. Naturally, it's paired with a five-speed stick. And dig that black-and-white checkerboard cloth interior, with four bucket seats. The story is that the car was purchased new in Kansas, and that after driving it for two years, the original owner put his prized Daytona up on jack stands and stored it in a climate-controlled garage. This Dodge now has just over 5,000 miles on the clock. If all of the above sounds enticing, you'll be powerless to resist after watching the launch commercial for the Daytona. BaT commenter "Himselvis" posted a link to the 2-minute cinematic masterpiece, which is equal parts "Blade Runner" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller." Some heavy-duty talent was brought to bear on the project, as he recounts: "The director, Bill Butler, was the cinematographer on 'Jaws,' 'Deliverance,' 'Grease,' and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.' Production designer Jim Spencer had worked on 'Gremlins,' 'Poltergeist,' and 'Stripes.' Director of photography David Watkin shot 'Out of Africa,' the BeatlesÂ’ 'HELP!' and 'Chariots of Fire.' The voiceover was provided by Billy Dee Williams." And the actor was from "Hot Dog the Movie." But the real star is the car, of course. This content is hosted by a third party. Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics
Fri, 25 Apr 2014It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.
