Up for sale, 1992 Dodge Stealth Rt, twin turbo, all wheel drive, all wheel steering. Its a 5 speed manual, has amazingly cold A/c and the heat works extremely well. Has keyless entry, alarm, and keyless hatch release. I bough the vehicle about 2000 miles ago, it had a slight miss/shutter under light load. I got it home and one of the issues was the lower intake had a vacuum leak. I replaced the lower and upper intake gaskets. Replaced the leaking injector o-rings, did a tune up with NGK iridium plugs, new plug wires, and a new throttle body gasket. Also ended up doing a timing belt, replaced it with a gates timing belt and component kit, new manual AND hydraulic tensioners. It helped the miss a bunch but It still needs to an idle servo motor, as it ended up testing bad, just haven't gotten around to doing it. I also just replaced the drivers side power widow regulator as it decided to stop working after I first purchased the vehicle. Replaced the alternator belt with new Mitsubishi belt. Has new alternator tensioner and p/s tensioner pulleys. Have a spare Mitsubishi p/s belt to go with the car. The pop up headlights work with no problems. Cruise control, power windows, driver power seat and power lumbar all work perfectly. Previous upgrades from the previous owner include the following:

The Good:

New clutch w/ light weight flywheel

Replaced Transfer case (recall)

Has 2 piece PTS carbon fiber driveshaft

ATR Exhaust

Greddy recirculating BOV

K&N cold air intake w/maf adapter

TEC Performance Front AND Rear strut bars

TR Motorsports C3's with Pirelli P-Zero Nero's (lots of tread left)

Hawk HP+ Pads (have an extra set)

Drilled Brake Rotors

Eibach lowering springs

Sony Japan Dbl minidisc/CD player with remote

The Bad:

The car has the original paint witch is in very good condition for the age, but the passenger side rear quarter was damaged by the previous owner and is pretty scratched up and has some dents. The driver side seat is torn from the constant in and out of the vehicle. Like I said its got 185000 original miles on it, the car hasn't been torn apart or rebuilt in any way, so minus the few little bolt on's its completely stock. At this time the power steering doesn't work as one of the lines on the p/s rack decided it was done. I hope to have it fixed by the end of the auction. I bought the car and had the intent of an easy fix and was in the process of getting the idle motor when the turbo seals decided they were to tired to go on. It smokes after getting into boost and also at idle. Ive had the car for about 2000 miles and i just don't have the time to mess with it since i work so much. It could be the perfect project if someone really wanted to make a super car out of it, or with just the turbo rebuild could have an amazingly fast and fun everyday car.  Like i said i just dont have the time to mess with it so, if you have any questions at all please feel free to call or text me any time and ill get back to you as soon as i can.

Buyer is responsible for shipping. Ill do what i can to help if at all possible.

Will Dodge limit 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat to 1,200 units?

Sun, 20 Jul 2014

With over 700 horsepower on tap and a price tag barely over $60k, Dodge appears on paper to have a winner on its hands with the new Challenger SRT Hellcat. But if you want to get your hands on one, you may have to act quicker than this most powerful of muscle cars covers the quarter-mile.
That's because, according to our compatriots over at Edmunds, Dodge may limit production - in the first year, at least - to just 1,200 units. That would amount to barely a quarter of the Challengers that Dodge moves each month, and would also mean only one Hellcat for every two Dodge dealers in the US - which could lead to some serious contention over which stores and which customers can get their hands on the ultimate Challenger.
Reached for comment, SRT spokesman Dan Reid told Autoblog that "there is no plan to limit production of the Challenger Hellcat," echoing the words of Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis who told Edmunds: "We don't know what the market demand is." Which doesn't mean that it won't restrict production, but doesn't mean that it will, either. It just hasn't decided yet - or announced any such decision, at any rate - over what will be the final allocation strategy for what could be a game-changing muscle car. That is, at least, until new versions of the Mustang and Camaro come along in pursuit of Dodge's bragging rights...

Thieves still love older Hondas and pickups most, says NICB [w/video]

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

No one wants to have their car stolen, but a new study by the National Insurance Crime Bureau has some bad news for older Honda owners and pickup drivers. Fortunately, it has better news for drivers overall. The group is reporting that according to preliminary data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, thefts were down 3.2 percent in 2013 (versus 2012) to fewer than 700,000 cars. That's the lowest figure since 1967. That's also less than half of the peak of over 1.66 million thefts in 1991. "The drop in thefts is good news for all of us," says NICB President and CEO Joe Wehrle. "But it still amounts to a vehicle being stolen every 45 seconds and losses of over $4 billion a year."
Honda drivers might not find it such good news with older Accord and Civic models topping this year's theft study. Toyota and Dodge can't really celebrate, either, with two models each on the list, as well. Overall, this year's list was split evenly between foreign and domestic models, which were mostly pickups.
The 10 most likely vehicles to be stolen in 2013 were:

2013 Dodge Dart GT offers subtle menace in compact form

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Dodge has already shared all of the relevant information about its all-new 2013 Dart GT, but it wasn't until now that we've seen the car, live and in person. The slightly meaner front fascia and bigger wheels look great on the Dodge, and the red-on-black perforated seats are sporting in an aftermarket sort of way.
To recap: The Dart GT also gets a bit more power, using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to make 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A starting price of $20,995 will get you LED taillights, dual exhaust, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Feel free to re-acquaint yourselves with the full Dodge Dart GT information in the press release below, or have a leisurely browse through our gallery of live images.
