This “2007.5” Dodge Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins has been pampered, and is in exceedingly great condition inside and out.  The Pearl Black exterior is nicely contrasted with chrome accents, and the taupe leather interior creates an elegant spacious feel for passengers.  The solid axle front end and the Dodge’s heavy duty build give it the ability to perform heavy work, and gives it the ability to get deep into terrain that other vehicles simply can’t.

I'm the second owner of this truck, and it's always been used as a personal vehicle, NOT a work truck. The first owner was located in the Sacramento area, so this truck is a true California car. See the Autocheck report for history and the incredibly high score.

This truck is built with the Laramie option package, including premium Infinity sound, a multi-disc MP3 player, an iPod dock in the glove box, audio controls on the steering wheel, onboard computer with compass/temperature/etc, Navigation with a US maps disc included, separate driver and passenger climate controls, power adjustable pedals, dual power seats, heated seats, heated mirrors, exhaust brake, split bench rear seats that fold up and out of the way, power sliding rear window, and of course all the options you’d normally expect like air conditioning, cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, tilt steering wheel and much more.  Along with the pictures you’ll see the original factory build sheet that provides many of the options specifications.

The Dodge is ready for towing with the factory towing package, including a 7-pin electronics connection point.

All services have been performed regularly, and are up to date.  I’ve got all the receipts.  The front and rear differential and the transfer case fluids were just changed - and all fluids looked great.

The 3500 series has an additional set of overload leaf springs in the rear to handle additional loads, giving the truck a similar ride to the Dodge Ram 2500 when unloaded, and giving it more control and better handling in those situations you have a heavy load or when towing heavy trailers.

I have a Mads Electronics Smarty Jr-67 performance tuner available for purchase as well.

Stellantis and LG announce Canadian EV battery joint venture

Wed, Mar 23 2022

SEOUL — South Korean battery giant LG Energy Solution (LGES) said on Wednesday it plans to invest $1.5 billion to set up a joint venture with Stellantis in Canada. LGES owns 51% of the joint venture, tentatively named "LGES-STLA JV" and Stellantis owns 49%, LGES said in a regulatory filing. In October, LGES and Stellantis NV struck an electric vehicle (EV) battery production joint venture, targeting to start production by the first quarter of 2024 and aiming to have an annual production capacity of 40 gigawatt hours of batteries. In a separate regulatory filing, LGES said it plans to acquire a stake worth $542 million in ES America to respond to demand from EV startups in the United States. LGES is considering building a factory in Arizona to meet demand in the United States, two people familiar with the matter told Reuters, adding that the plant is expected to primarily produce cylindrical battery cells. LGES has its own factory in Michigan and two battery joint ventures with General Motors in Ohio and Tennessee. "We are considering a new production site, but nothing has been decided yet," said a spokesperson at LGES. LGES, which counts Tesla, GM and Volkswagen among its customers, currently has battery production sites in the United States, China, Poland, Indonesia and South Korea. 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody Drivers' Notes | Widebody for everybody

Thu, Nov 14 2019

The 2019 and soon to be 2020 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody is another Challenger dart thrown against the wall by Dodge. It takes the desirable Widebody package we’ve seen on Hellcats and applies it to the naturally aspirated Scat Pack with the 6.4-liter V8. This kit includes stiffer adaptive shocks, stiffer springs, larger stabilizer bars, big Brembo brakes, a 3.09 rear axle ratio, 20-inch forged wheels and massive 305 section-width tires on all four corners. Most important of all, you get the special Widebody fender flares that give the car its signature look. The package is $6,000 on top of a regular Scat Pack. That means the cheapest youÂ’ll step into a Scat Pack Widebody is $46,740. The Widebody that rolled through our offices came in at a much-higher $57,295 after a number of options were tacked on. Many of these, you can skip. The 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque that comes standard is the most important aspect of this big coupe. Several packages costing more than $1,000 each add convenience and driver assistance tech, and the Harman/Kardon system is a hefty $1,595. With such a loud engine and exhaust, itÂ’s hardly worthwhile. Our tester also had the $1,595 eight-speed automatic transmission. ThisÂ’ll let you scare unsuspecting bystanders with the remote start system, but opting for a manual is an easy way to save some cash and increase driver involvement. With all the modern technology like adaptive cruise control, auto high-beams, heated and cooled seats, and blind-spot detection, the Challenger tries its best to keep up with the times. ItÂ’s no technological marvel, but itÂ’s neat to see some of these options available for folks who might want them. Still, tech gizmos are not what the Widebody is about. This Challenger keeps the same personality as all of those before it, but adds a dash of handling and hostility to its outward appearance. Here are our varied experiences with it during a week of testing. Editor-in-Chief, Greg Migliore: Yes, you can put a rear-facing convertible car seat in a Dodge Challenger. I did. It actually wasnÂ’t that hard. Remember, the Challenger is genetically a Mercedes sedan and shares underpinnings with the Dodge Charger. The biggest hurdles are ingress and egress, which is to be expected in any coupe. The roofline is low, but really not that bad. I simply lifted my toddler and maneuvered him into the backseat.  I was able to get him secured and fastened, and then I just stepped out of the car.
