this is a 2006 dodge 3500 regulacab,long bed,325hp H/O cummins diesel,4x4,automatic, this truck is in EXCELLENT!!!! condition. im second owner of truck, I planned on lifting truck and making a weekend driver type. my wife is now forcing me to get a four door. I have just recently had spray in linex bedliner with Kevlar life time warrenty with that, had truck painted completely by a reputable company after some kids scratched it, new electronic towing mirrors,new inner fender liners, new head lights, new taillights,new chrome grill, new chrome front and rear bumper, new steps, transmission rebuilt 100 miles ago with upgraded parts by dodge dealership, leveling kit, new fan clutch,literally everything just listed is BRAND new, not almost new BRAND new. this truck sits in my garage and sometimes I drive it to the store or around town on weekend. the engine is very very clean runs great no issues, maintained religiously. the frame is in excellent shape NO rust issues!!!!! everything very clean and new. has aluminum stock 17 inch rims great shape, has nitto terra grapplers but not great tread less than half left. has no scratchs no dents. windows are tinted with brand new tint on all glass. small tear in seat, cloth seats, cummins floor mats, electric windows, mirrors,and doors. has stock cd player with ipod-usb hook up. has trailer brake system. Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
Takata air bag recall list
Tue, Dec 9 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration confirmed yesterday that 33.8 million vehicles with Takata airbags are going to be recalled. It's the largest recall in automotive history. The already record-breaking rate of automotive recalls this year shows no signs of slowing down, especially since millions of cars with defective airbags made by global supplier Takata are under ongoing scrutiny. The federal government is warning owners that inflator mechanisms in the air bags can rupture, causing metal fragments to fly out when the bags are deployed. The faulty air bags have already been blamed for multiple deaths. How do you know if your vehicle is safe? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released an updated list of vehicles under recall. Sometimes however, the government's website will crash and the list may not be complete. Check your VIN at the NHTSA website to make sure. The list of cars affected by the recall has not been released, but seem to span multiple models over the years for many of the automakers.
