You are bidding on our 2005 Dodge Ram 3500ST dually. Although it started out as a base ST model when I bought it I have added numerous upgrades, so it really looks nothing like an ST anymore. It was a Texas truck its entire life until it was shipped to Georgia in August 2013. As far as the powertrain it is equipped with the 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel engine and an automatic transmission. It is also equipped with power steering and brakes, cruise control, tilt steering, manual flip up towing mirrors, and delay wipers. It does have manual windows and door locks, but I just looked at it as one less thing to break.
As far as upgrades go, I did my best to add some needed creature comforts. I installed a complete set of Pacific Dualies chrome wheel simulators, Aries chrome side steps, chrome grill, 15% tint on the front windows, and replaced the base vinyl seats / rubber floor mat interior with a factory carpet, flip up center console middle seat, and cloth seats (driver’s side seat does have wear – see photo). The truck is also equipped with a Rhino Liner bed liner, and a Curt no drill series 5th wheel bracket and rail kit. I have also installed a flow through 5th wheel tailgate, and installed a led id bar on the tailgate that is also equipped with additional led back up lights. I also upgraded the dually bed marker lights to led as well. It has a Pioneer am/fm cd radio with a removable faceplate. I also installed smoke tinted headlight assemblies to replace the faded OEM lights.
As far as repairs I have replaced the front wheel hub assemblies, front brake pads, new air filter, hood struts, and installed a used torque converter that only has about 60k miles on it (it was even drilled and tapped with a drain plug). At the same time I changed the fluid, filter, pan gasket, and the 2 solenoids that always go bad. It also had a new windshield installed when I bought the truck. That’s about it, has really just been a reliable truck that has just not needed much in the way of repairs.
As far as the negatives, please bear in mind this is a 10 year old truck and does have around 295,000 miles on it. There are some scratches, a small dent in the driver and passenger front doors, and small dents in the front and rear bumpers. The rear pinion seal is seeping, and there is a whine in the rear end. With that being said, I just got back from a trip into the North Ga. Mountains towing our 41ft. 5th wheel toy hauler and the truck performed flawlessly as it always has. If you looking for a workhorse that will pull just about anything you put behind it without spending $50k, look no further. I wouldn’t even consider selling it except that I just picked up a 2008 Ram 3500 with 28k miles on it.
Please check my 100% feedback and bid with confidence, this is the 4th personal vehicle I have sold on E-Bay. I have had folks purchase 2 of them from Tennessee and one from Virginia. Please remember that this is a 10 year old truck, so there are no warranties expressed or implied for this vehicle. I will also include the factory tailgate, a driving light kit (aftermarket but looks and mounts like factory), as well as a used replacement front bumper.
In the interest of full disclosure, there is a lien on the truck that is held at a local bank. The purchase price will clear the lien and the buyer will receive a clear title on the truck. I am sure there are things I have forgotten, so if you have any questions feel free to send me an e-mail through E-Bay or you can call me directly at 678-873-2621. Also, if you would like to see the truck in person and / or take it for a test drive (which I would highly encourage!!) just let me know. I will not ship this truck, however I will be happy to work with a shipper of your choosing (and of course at your expense). I also have the truck listed locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction early prior to the reserve being met.
Sorry for the long winded description, however I like to be as up front as possible. Thank you for looking at my auction and bid to win!!

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat revving is sonic bacon
Fri, 23 May 2014This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and we're sure that by now, you know its stats, including over 600 horsepower from its 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. What, pray tell, does that blown engine sound like, though?
At least judging on the sonic strength of this video, it's very, very dirty. Honestly, it sounds unlike anything that's come out of the Chrysler Group in a long time, if ever. It's loud, almost brutally so, with a bark that few road-going V8s can match.
Of course, you should be the final judge here. Take a look and a listen at the two videos below, one of which comes from our friends at Cars.com that provides a nice look under the hood, and then let us know what you think of the Hellcat's singing voice in Comments.
Marchionne nixes talk of a reborn Dodge Viper
Sun, May 27 2018UPDATE: According to Automobile Magazine's Todd Lassa, FCA chief Sergio Marchionne shot down the idea of a reborn Viper, saying "it's not in the plan." Marchionne was referring to Fiat Chrysler's five-year plan, which we've been covering in bits and pieces as the news filters out. But it's not out of the realm of possibility, apparently, as Marchionne reportedly said he'd be happy to see the reptilian supercar back in production. And it's not all bad news, anyway. A reborn Alfa Romeo 8C will get a carbon-fiber chassis holding a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6. With more than 700 horsepower, including an electrically-driven front axle, the car should hit 62 mph in fewer than 3 seconds. Also, three versions of a Maserati Alfieri will be produced, including a convertible. An electrified all-wheel-drive powertrain is planned. So, performance is coming from FCA, it just may not be from Dodge. View 36 Photos First came the mourning for the Dodge Viper, which ended production last year. Then came the Viper's continued sales run as a "Zombie Car;" we just wrote about how the Viper has racked up 11 sales so far this year, two of them in April. Now Car and Driver reports that the two-seater snake will return shorty for its second encore after being discontinued in 2009. The mag isn't equivocal about it, either, writing, "trust us: A new Viper is happening." It won't, however, be the same Viper that brought ten-cylinder brass knuckles to shake down other coupes for their wallets and jewelry. CD says we should expect the same front-mid-engine layout and rear-wheel drive tucked into a new spaceframe. That engine will lose two cylinders, with Chrysler's next-gen, aluminum-block V8 Hemi slotting into the engine bay. The previous Viper's V10 had grown to 8.4 liters and 640 horsepower by the time it drove into the sunset. CD guesses the coming Viper will start with a naturally-aspirated version of the Hemi V8 working up around 550 horsepower. Healthy doses of aluminum and carbon fiber would restrain the car's weight, on top of the weight loss from swapping an iron V10 for an aluminum V8. SRT could tart up the horsepower with a few performance trims, before a supercharged V8 with 700-plus horsepower arrives at some point after launch. The mag also suspects the initial offering will be a convertible, the hardtop appearing "a few years after launch," which could coincide with the more powerful engine. A row-your-own shifter will sit between the seats.
2016 Dodge Viper ACR First Drive [w/video]
Fri, Jul 17 2015The Dodge Viper is not a comfortable car. Livable, yes. The interior is covered in fine materials. But you still climb over a hot door sill to enter the tiny cabin. And the frequency range of the engine's noises seem specifically designed to cause headaches. What happens, then, if you remove all pretense of civility from a Viper and add equipment solely aimed at improving lap times? You would have the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR. In terms of achieving its purpose, this car is a absolute success. In many ways it's also the most honest Viper of the current generation. Prices start at $121,990 (including $2,100 gas-guzzler tax and $1,995 destination), or $32,900 more than the least expensive Viper. In ACR trim, the Viper loses the under-carpet padding, 9 of 12 speakers plus amplifier, carpet and trim from the cargo area, and sound deadening in front of the rear wheel wells. The parts of the interior still covered add healthy amounts of Alcantara or optional carbon fiber. That weight loss is compensated by the addition of go-fast bits like the giant rear wing (or the larger "x-wing" on the Extreme Aero Package), 10-way adjustable Bilstein Motorsports shocks, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a rear diffuser, and a front splitter. Total claimed curb weight is 3,392 pounds in Aero trim (standard ACR trim is 18 pounds lighter), which is within a few stone of the rest of the Viper lineup. The diffuser strakes and leading edge of the splitter are removable, made to be replaced after rubbing on track tarmac and make street driving slightly more practical. Not that you'd want to drive the ACR on the street, with the lack of noise insulation and spring rates twice as stiff as the Viper TA, but it is street-legal. Dodge claims the DOT-approved Kumho Ecsta V720 tires on the ACR allow faster lap times than some race compound tires. Our test was limited to on-track shenanigans at Virginia International Raceway. Which is fitting because we wouldn't have anything good to say about driving the car on the street. The ACR is, essentially, a race car sold in the showroom, although with the Viper's 1 of 1 customization program, your custom build can include as many creature comforts as you like. Lined up in pit lane at VIR, the Viper ACRs for our evaluation blur the air with heat shimmer. All of the test cars have air conditioning, but that shuts off at full throttle with a six-second reset.
