You are looking at a one of a kind 2001 dodge ram 2500 equpied with the 24 valve cummins turbo diesel backed by a 6 speed manual transmission. This truck has a BD super B turbo powder coated red, BD stainless steel manifold, South bend double disk clutch put in 15,000 miles ago, S&B air intake, BD short shift kit, Air dog 150 gph lift pump, Edge juice with attitude, Ati harmonic dampener, 4 inch turbo back exhaust to a 5 inch tip. This truck dynoed at 344hp and 774 ft lbs. The truck was professionally sprayed with white Linex. The truck has a safety rack with a 50 inch L.E.D light bar mounted to it. The truck also has full H.I.Ds in the front head lights and fog lights. The interior has the normal dodge cracks but no pieces are missing, also the driver side seat has a minor rip. The truck also has full Kenwood stereo system with 2 amps and 2 10inch subs under the rear seat. The truck also has a skyjacker 2.5 inch lift all around with the bigger coil spings. 2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment
Fri, 15 Feb 2013As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.

Dodge Viper GTS-R goes back to old-school livery
Fri, 20 Jun 2014The Dodge Viper may have been around now for over 20 years, but as far as racing achievements go, 2000 was its finest season. That's when it won the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the GTS class trophy at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its second consecutive title in the American Le Mans Series.
Since then, SRT Motorsports hasn't quite had the same success, withdrawing from Le Mans this year and shedding the Dodge name and its emblematic red and white livery for the SRT badge and a silver snakeskin theme. But now that the Viper is back under the Dodge banner, so too is the racing team returning to its classic livery.
Starting from the six-hour race at Watkins Glen next week, both the No. 91 and No. 93 Viper GTS-Rs will wear the red base color with twin white racing stripes that its more accomplished forebears wore on circuits around the world. And with it, maybe the Viper will return once again to the winner's circle at home and abroad.
