Good Work Truck 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Inline 6 Cummins on 2040-cars
Russellville, Alabama, United States
Up for auction is my daily work truck around the farm. I've been using this truck here and there for the last 6 years and it has not given me any trouble. Only changed oil, belts, and an alternator, other then that i don't have any problem with it. Recently, the transmission is acting a little abnormal. Been researching it online. It seems like with this year and the age of the truck, something to do with the speed senor. The problem is that when you first take off it will get stuck on 1st gear and the RPM goes up high so then you let off the acceleration, once it switches to the right gear, it drives good again.
I'm not an expert at this, that is to the best of my knowledge. As you can see in the pictures, it's a work truck so it's not perfect looking. I believe the price is reasonable. The mileage is not correct, oh and the speedometer doesn't show how fast you're going. which explains why the mileage isn't working. The speedometer stop working couple years ago, if I guess the mileage on it now, I would say it be around 225,000 miles. Because I don't drive it much only when I need to go buy supplies for my farm and only couple trips to Nashville TN. If you have questions, please message me. Thank you |

Detroit Auto Show prankster 'damages' hundreds of thousands of dollars of cars
Thu, Jan 29 2015Obtaining credentials for an auto show is generally a pretty selective process, especially at one of the world's premier shows, like Geneva, Los Angeles or Detroit. That didn't stop online prankster Dennis Roady from getting credentialed for the 2015 North American International Auto Show on behalf of a Russian YouTube channel to cover the show. While he wasn't brought on strictly to cause mischief, Roady couldn't help but have some fun at the expense of the product specialists during the serious business of covering the show. He took to an app called "Dude, Your Car," which allows Apple iPhone users to take snaps of vehicles and then edit them to add some serious, but fake, dents and scratches. Naturally, the pranking session was caught on video, where you can enjoy the sight of poor product specialists freaking out over damage to vehicles ranging from the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to the Audi R8 and a lovely Dodge Challenger. Take a look. News Source: howtoPRANKitup via YouTube, The Detroit News Humor Detroit Auto Show Audi Dodge Mercedes-Benz Coupe Luxury Performance Videos Sedan 2015 Detroit Auto Show prank
All-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT confirmed by EPA website
Thu, Oct 27 2016The US Environmental Protection Agency accidentally confirmed the upcoming Dodge Challenger GT by posting fuel economy figures for the all-wheel-drive variant of the muscle car. According to FuelEconomy.gov, the Challenger GT, which will come with the 3.6-liter V6 when it's released, is rated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway, giving the vehicle a combined rating of 21 miles per gallon. Those figures are slightly lower than the rear-wheel-drive Challenger with the same engine, which gets 19 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway. While previous reports indicated that Dodge is planning to release the all-wheel-drive Challenger GT sometime in 2017, the automaker hasn't confirmed the vehicle. (Mopar's all-wheel-drive concept from last year's SEMA Show is pictured above.) With the EPA putting out the car's official fuel economy figures, the all-wheel-drive muscle car is definitely coming, and should be here before the entire Challenger lineup gets its expected redesign in 2018. And yes, we're still hopeful that the so-called Challenger ADR we saw in spy photos means we'll see all wheel drive and Hellcat power. Because Hellcat everything. Related Video:
