2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel.
It is the 4x4 Shorty with the RARE 6-Speed Manual transmission. There are 172,330 actual miles. This is the
loaded 4 door Crew Cab Laramie Edition with Black Leather and the Ram head suede inserts. Comes with the factory
color matched grill. It has had One Owner for the last 13 years. It was bought new locally and has never left.
There is absolutely no rust on this truck. Wyoming is an absolute bone dry State and does not use rock salt. It
is in absolute amazing condition for a diesel truck that is 13 years old. That being said, of course it has
numerous superficial scratches and dings here and there but no major dents and it has never been hit or anything
silly like that. The bed has been used and is plenty scratched up with a few dents. A spray-in liner would do
miracles. It has a B&W gooseneck that was used exactly 3 times a year. The truck has pulled less than 2,000 miles
and has never even close been overloaded or overheated.
The front end has been redone and drives completely straight with no shimmies, shakes, or pulls.
This truck had New OEM factory Cummins injectors installed around 35k miles ago along with the desirable High
Pressure FASS fuel lift pump! It runs better than new. This vehicle is and always has been factory stock except
the lift pump that should be factory issued.
The interior is beyond clean and exceptionally well kept as seen in the photos. It has the factory white face
gauges and Infinity sound system. No goofy idiot lights on the dash or anything like that. There are some tiny
marks finally starting on the driver seat (see pic) and 3 TINY hairline cracks clear up by the windshield vents on
the dash. These upper dash panels are replaceable and cheap or throw a nice dash carpet kit on it and forget about
it. The center console isn't even cracked like most are.
Truck was just gone over and has a fresh oil change along with a fresh fuel filter. It has a brand new set of
Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S tires. It is absolutely ready to go. We all know these 5.9's are a dying breed. With the
6-Speed standard and the black leather this is as rare as it gets. It is a very fair price and will sell at
$17,399. You know what you are getting, not garbage. It would be listed at $22,999 at any dealer in the County.
Will not find another one in quite some time. Somebody is going to get very lucky and be very happy with this
truck.

China-FCA merger could be a win-win for everyone but politicians

NEW YORK — Fiat Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne has said the car industry needs to come together, cut costs and stop incinerating capital. So far, his words have mostly fallen on deaf ears among competitors in Europe and North America. But it appears Marchionne has finally found a receptive audience Â— in China. FCA shares soared Monday after trade publication Automotive News reported the $18 billion Italian-American conglomerate controlled by the Agnelli family rebuffed a takeover from an unidentified carmaker from the Chinese mainland. As ugly as the politics of such a combination may appear at first blush, a transaction could stack up industrially, and perhaps even financially. A Sino-U.S.-European merger would create the first truly global auto group. That could push consolidation to the next level elsewhere. Moreover, China is the world's top market for the SUVs that Jeep effectively invented, so it might benefit FCA financially. A combo would certainly help upgrade the domestic manufacturer; Chinese carmakers have gotten better at making cars, but struggle to build global brands, and they need to develop export markets. Though frivolous overseas shopping excursions by Chinese enterprises are being reined in by Beijing, acquisitions that support the modernization and transformation of strategic industries still receive support, and the government considers the automotive industry to be strategic. A purchase of FCA by Guangzhou Automobile, Great Wall or Dongfeng Motors would probably get the same stamp of approval ChemChina was given for its $43 billion takeover of Syngenta. What's standing in the way? Apart from price (Automotive News said FCA's board deemed the offer insufficient) there's the not-insignificant matter of politics. Even as FCA shares soared, President Donald Trump interrupted his vacation to instruct the U.S. Trade Representative to look into whether to investigate China's trade policies on intellectual property. Seeing storied Detroit brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Ram and Dodge handed off to a Chinese company would provoke howls among Trump's economic-nationalist supporters. It might not play well in Italy, either, to see Alfa Romeo and Maserati answering to Wuhan instead of Turin Â— though Automotive News said they might be spun off separately. Yet, as Morgan Stanley observes, "cars don't ship across oceans easily," and political considerations increasingly demand local manufacture of valuable products.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat revving is sonic bacon

This is the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and we're sure that by now, you know its stats, including over 600 horsepower from its 6.2-liter, supercharged V8. What, pray tell, does that blown engine sound like, though?
At least judging on the sonic strength of this video, it's very, very dirty. Honestly, it sounds unlike anything that's come out of the Chrysler Group in a long time, if ever. It's loud, almost brutally so, with a bark that few road-going V8s can match.
