Hey everyone,

Deciding to sell my 2003 Dodge Cummins RAM 2500 automatic as I cannot afford to keep both my GTO and the truck so the truck's gotta go.  I have no real use for it and it sits more than anything so it needs to go to someone who will get real use out of it and enjoy the truck for what it is.  It's a 4 door short bed has blacked out cab lights, tow mirrors, 20" MT wheels wrapped in 35" vortrac tires with good tread, 4" exhaust from the turbo back with a muffler, after market radiator and turbo piping (don't know the specs), K&N intake, Edge Juice with attitude tuner (always kept in "mileage" mode and never raced), just installed a new Governor Solenoid and Governor Pressure Sensor in the transmission as well as fresh AT-4 transmission fluid (bands still need adjustment but I don't have the tool to do so), brand new main rear brake line (the one that takes 3 hours to replace if done right), brand new Serpentine belt with 3 year warranty from PepBoys, tinted 20% all around and is fresh and it also has a leveling kit that gives it a perfect stance in my opinion.

The "not so good"
The truck does have minor rust on the tail gate as shown in the video (link below).
Right tow mirror is missing plastic due to being smacked against a pole (damn drive through) but is still fully functional
Wobbles while driving from 40-45mph sometimes most likely due to tires needing rotating but I can't say for sure
146xxx miles
Minor scratches on exterior (it's a 10 year old truck)
Hole cutout in the bed for a stack
Brake and ABS light randomly come on but brakes work perfectly
CD player sometimes doesn't like to give CDs back
Left tail light is worn looking but works perfectly

The "Good"
Fresh tint
Fresh "pain in the butt maintenance" as listed above
18mpg
Interior is perfect with no stains rips or tears anywhere
Everything works! (Blinkers, brake lights, headlights, etc)
Will pass MD state inspection!  (Minus front window tint)
Driven 2,000 miles from Texas to MD with 0 hiccups
Fresh coolant change as well in February

I'm trying to be as honest as I can with the truck as I know I would want the seller to be if I were the buyer because we all hate surprises when it comes down to actually getting a vehicle offline.  That's also why I made the video so you can see the truck run and not just photos of it.  If you have any questions please TEXT me only as I will be away at training for the week this truck is listed.  Please only contact me if you're 100% serious about purchasing the truck as I will be busy.  2405754922

A $500 deposit is due immediately at the end of the auction to avoid non paying bidders.  0 Feedback buyers MUST request permission before bidding or your bid will be canceled.  Do not contact me with lower offers than the listed price as they will not be entertained.  Like I said, you can pick the truck up or have it shipped but all the coordination will be on you.  I will assist where I can and make sure it all goes smoothly though.

Thank you for looking and good luck!

Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...

Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars

Fri, 05 Sep 2014

There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.

Mopar teases a big Hemi crate engine for SEMA

Wed, Oct 24 2018

Mopar has released a new video teaser hinting at the release of a large and powerful crate Hemi engine at SEMA later this month in Las Vegas. The video functions like a lesson on symbolism in an English lit class. It opens with smoke and settles on a pair of backlit, large-clawed paw prints that look to be feline in origin. Then we hear earth-shaking pounding sounds of something larger than the paw prints that stomps over them. Then cue an overhead shot of what looks to be a vintage-model Dodge Charger and its growly Hemi engine entering the frame and then gunning the engine. Mopar already offers three crate Hemi V8 engines, topped by the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat, good for 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, found in the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and marketed for pre-1976 classic muscle cars. So promising that "Something big is coming" is really saying something. Could it be a crate version of the 808-hp Hemi 6.2 that was found in the Dodge Demon, which was rated at 840 hp on racing fuel? Or is it something different? Curiously, Mopar says its reveal is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the odd time of 4:26 p.m. Could that time be a reference to the 426 Hemi — and specifically the Generation III 426 Hemi "Elephant" that Chrysler made several years ago? That technically qualifies as "bigger," and it would also align with both the muscle car-era Charger and round, earth-shaking footprints shown in the video. Time will prove whether we were right.
