Here is a very clean low mileage 2001 dodge 2500 4x4 quad cab, equipped with the bullet proof 24v Cummins turbo diesel. this truck has under 100,000 miles and runs great fires right up and purrs. this is a second owner truck so it does have some minor dings and scratches. interior is in great shape except for cracks in the dash which is very common for these trucks. this truck has almost all of the steering components replaced from the steering gear box to the intermediate shaft. It has the essential steering brace that eliminates frame flex. New upper ball joints, tie rod ends etc. cold air intake, 4 inch dual exhaust, edge 3 level tuner, 2 inch front leveling kit, gooseneck ball and rails for fifth wheel hitch, electric brake controller. power heated tow mirrors, new windshield, custom tail lights, running lights. And I'm sure I have forgotten a couple of things, but the bottom line is the truck runs amazing and sounds great. the truck was purchased from a dealer who got it from an insurance company due to a theft recovery, so it does have a salvage title, but the truck has a clean car fax with no accidents. I don't know what else to say about this truck, it is great, and the only reason I'm selling is because I am trying to add on to my house and need more money, and I have another truck to pull my camper. so just keep in mind this isn't a new truck, it does have average wear and tear for its age. 121k Dodge Darts being investigated over braking problem

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating the Dodge Dart due to reports of braking problems. Some 121,000 cars are possibly affected, all from the 2013 model year. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA received 18 complaints about the brake pedal becoming hard to depress on these cars, increasing stopping distance. Drivers reported hearing a "pop noise or an air hissing noise when applying the brake pedal, followed by a hard pedal feel and reduced brake effectiveness," NHTSA told the News. In a particularly terrifying incident, one driver says the Dart's braking system shut down while driving at 50 miles per hour. "I feared for my life. It is one of the scariest things I have ever dealt with," the complaint said, according to The Detroit News. A Fiat-Chrysler spokesperson said the automaker is "fully cooperating" with this investigation.

So far, whenever we've seen the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 707-horsepower, supercharged Hellcat V8, the muscle car has been smoking its tires. Dodge is finally proving that the SRT can do more than ruin perfectly good sets of rubber, though. In it's latest video, company CEO Tim Kuniskis hands the Hellcat off to the guys from Gas Monkey Garage to show how quickly the automaker's most powerful model can make it down the drag strip.
Of course, the only fitting contender to race against Dodge's latest top muscle car is its grandpa - a Hemi-powered 1971 Challenger, in this case. Before getting to the main event, the hosts also show off some of the SRT's unique features like the blanks in the grille that feed the intercoolers. We'll go ahead and spoil that the Hellcat makes its pass in the 10-second range, and the video admits the tires on the production version would take just a touch longer to cover the quarter-mile. NHTSA investigates FCA for SUVs that roll out of Park

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a preliminary evaluation into the 2014 Dodge Durango and 2014-205 Jeep Grand Cherokee after 14 complaints of the SUVs rolling out of Park. An estimated 408,000 of them could be affected, if a recall is necessary. All of the current complaints submitted to NHTSA about the issue concern the Grand Cherokee, and the claims allege that the SUV can roll out of Park whether or not the engine is running. Some folks report that they check the indicator each time because the gear sometimes fails to engage. Among the 14 cases, there are five accounts of crashes and three injuries, including a situation with someone allegedly being rolled over. NHTSA's preliminary evaluations are meant to investigate "the scope, frequency, and safety-related consequence" of a reported problem. They don't necessarily lead to a recall.
