1998 Dodge Ram 2500 24 Valve Cummins Laramie Slt **only 68,000 Miles** on 2040-cars
Peoria, Arizona, United States
HERE is an IMMACULATE TRUCK that I recently purchased from the Original Owner. This has been a CALIF truck since New. If you are a "Second Gen" fan you will appreciate this truck!!!!!! It has never had a "Chip" or any Heavy Duty Hitches, Trailer Brakes etc. The Factory Towing Wire kit for plugging into the factory harness is still in the Glove Box. It had a CAMPER SHELL most of it's life and there is some Paint damage around the back of the cab where the rubber seal rested and a small dent in the rear bumper.. Other than that ---- Check the pictures of the "DASH---IT'S PERFECT"--- and that is the original bedliner. You can see the part numbers on the springs. The Grill? PERFECT!! (Oh and by the way the Factory radio Balance Toggle works like new) NEW 10 ply tires were installed @ 67,277 miles. I received a full packet of service records ( Mostly done at the "Dealer") along with the Factory Service Manuals. Extra's include a Viper Alarm and a back-up warning beeper. I was going to downsize from my 04 Ram 3500 4x4 Diesel but changed my mind due to the size of my Slide in Camper. It hurts to part with this 1998. Be sure to ask any questions before BIDDING--DON"T ASSUME OR READ BETWEEN THE LINES---ASK!!! The Sale/Purchase is FINAL --no returns. Let me know if you want more pictures or details. If you want to have someone inspect the truck I will make it available for them to do so. PICK UP or SHIPPING arrangements are up to the Buyer. If you want to FLY into Phoenix I will pick you up and you can drive it home with confidence. I did and it's a dream to drive. Payment by a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 Hours of Auction End and the Balance within 7 days. Bank wire transfer or Cash will be accepted for the Balance. I reserve the right to end this Auction Early as the truck is listed for sale locally. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!! |

New Dodge Charger SRT Widebody likely teased in brief video
Wed, Jun 26 2019This morning, we saw a new, extremely brief teaser for a new version of the Dodge Charger SRT. We don't know exactly what the car is, but rumors and spy shots suggest that the big sedan could be getting the same treatment as the multiple Dodge Challenger widebody models. The teaser of course cuts just before you can see anything truly telling, but there are a few details we can glean. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for the full reveal. The car appears to be painted B5 Blue, one of a number of knockout colors in FCA's portfolio. Through the cover we can see that the car gets the upgraded grille that we saw last summer. A pair of inlets helps feed more air into the engine bay. The lower intakes on the front bumper appear to be all new and much larger than anything else we've seen on the Charger so far. It's unclear what exactly that means, but it does give an already bold design an even more aggressive appearance. Over the past couple of years, Dodge revealed widebody versions of the Challenger R/T Scat Pack, Hellcat, Hellcat Redeye and the widebody only Dodge Demon. Each car is faster and more powerful than the last. The bulging fenders allow for a revised suspension setup, wider wheels and tires and a wider track for more stable handling. It makes an already big car even bigger, though you do get genuine improvements when it comes to performance handling.
Stellantis is official: FCA and PSA merger finally sealed
Sat, Jan 16 2021MILAN — Fiat Chrysler and PSA sealed their long-awaited merger on Saturday to create Stellantis, the world's fourth-largest auto group with deep enough pockets to fund the shift to electric driving and take on bigger rivals Toyota and Volkswagen. It took over a year for the Italian-American and French automakers to finalize the $52 billion deal, during which the global economy was upended by the COVID-19 pandemic. They first announced plans to merge in October 2019, to create a group with annual sales of around 8.1 million vehicles. "The merger between Peugeot S.A. and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. that will lead the path to the creation of Stellantis N.V. became effective today," the two automakers said in a statement. Shares in Stellantis, which will be headed by current PSA Chief Executive Carlos Tavares, will start trading in Milan and Paris on Monday, and in New York on Tuesday. Now analysts and investors are turning their focus to how Tavares plans to address the huge challenges facing the group – from excess production capacity to a woeful performance in China. Tavares will hold his first press conference as Stellantis CEO on Tuesday, after ringing NYSE's bell with Chairman John Elkann. FCA and PSA have said Stellantis can cut annual costs by over 5 billion euros ($6.1 billion) without plant closures, and investors will be keen for more details on how it will do this. Marco Santino, a partner at consultants Oliver Wyman, said he expected Tavares to disclose the outlines of his action plan soon, but without divulging too many details at first. "He has proven to be the kind of person who prefers action to words, so I don't think he will make loud statements or try to over-sell targets," he said. Like all global automakers, Stellantis needs to invest billions in the years ahead to transform its vehicle range for the electric era. But other pressing tasks loom, including reviving the group's lagging fortunes in China, rationalizing its huge global empire and addressing massive overcapacity. "It will be a step by step process, also to allow the market to better appreciate every single move. I don't think we will have all the details before one year," Santino said.
NHTSA investigating Ram 1500 models for rear differential failure
Mon, 30 Jun 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and its Ram brand following a number of reports regarding the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. According to 15 consumer complaints, the trucks' rear differential locked up while in other cases, the driveshaft separated at its connection to the diff.
Nearly half of the reports claim the truck was traveling at or above 50 miles per hour, while two consumers reported that the diff lockup/driveshaft separation sent their pickups into a spin. Most troubling, though, is that consumers reported little to no sound indicating there was a problem with their truck.
We reached out to Ram for additional information, such as how many vehicles may be affected or what equipment might be fitted that could cause the issue. Unfortunately, the company wasn't willing to elaborate on specifics.
