First let me tell a little back story about this truck and the only reason Im selling this truck is because I am in a finical crisis and she is not my daily driver, so instead of letting her sit in my garage which is her home, I figure she will be of better use to someone who needs her and thus I will finally be able to get out of my financial issues. Like I previously stated she lives in the garage and will continue living in the garage until her last day with me. I take care of my vehicles and I would really like to see this truck go to a buyer that feels the same about vehicles as I do and someone who will take just as good care of her as I did. Im not a dealer, I'm not in the business to buy and sell vehicles so please trust me as I describe her as best and as honest as I most possibly can. I WILL NOT screw anyone over with her and I will always be 100% honest with every question asked about this truck. I treat my vehicles like their brand new and keep them in perfect working condition mechanically and visibly just as they did when they first rolled off the show room floor because thats how they like to be treated and not only will they last forever but they will treat you back just as well, thus is mainly the reason this dodge has never once in its life given me a problem. So this truck will be the perfect truck for her new adventure with her new owner and i would hope they will take just as good care of it as i did. My loss is someone else's great gain... There will be NO regret.

Now let me start off by giving a description of this truck and of the goods she comes with.

First thing I want to mention is that she comes with a super chip tuner. You can set it on any program you want or you can place her to factory settings and not use the tuner. You do NOT have to keep the tuner plugged in at all times all you have to do is plug the tuner in the OBD-II port set it and forget it, thus meaning unplug the tuner from the OBD-II port after setting it on a tune or factory settings and place the tuner wherever you please the tune will be saved on the truck no matter if the computer is plugged in or not. I had her set on ECONOMY mode at all times. This tuner does a lot more then just tune the truck. There are a lot of options on the tuner.

This truck is almost immaculate aside from a couple little things such as about 2 (two), 1 inch and a half tears in the front driver seat which both are clearly pictured.

I installed a break force controller in this truck because I thought I was going to use it more often to tow a car trailer but never had the chance to buy a trailer for it due to personal problems (it also has a special rear end gear ratio for towing or just to be daily driven).

The truck has 2 kicker subs nicely made into a custom subwoofer box hidden away under the rear seats with a kicker amplifier also hidden under the driver seat to not have any room lost for passengers and also a kicker subwoofer-controller under the radio controls for the driver or passenger to control.

This Dodge does not have/never had any mechanical or power train problems due to the fact that i always took care of it mechanically, which includes but is not limited to consistent oil changes ever two thousand miles, (i know thats a little odd to change the oil that much but this truck was my truck and i was never planning on selling it and wanted to keep it forever so i wanted it to run forever).

It has extra spot lights hidden away behind the grill just as extra lighting if ever needed which actually truly came in handy a lot.

I was in 1 accident someone in april side swept me but missed the cab only hit the bed panel, but when he did hit me it damaged the rear wheel and it did bend the rear axle housing, after the accident it was towed to a high end body shop that fixed everything with the truck better then new, (which also means full new rear axle) I wasn't happy about this but accidents do happen and since this truck means so much to me i did make sure everything was fixed to MY standards and no corners were cut.

As said previously it has always been taken care of and garage kept so I have washed this truck a lot and always kept it clean. And the condition of the truck proves that.

This truck is a phenomenally looking truck and i promise whoever buys it will NOT be disappointed.

Stellantis invests more than $100 million in California lithium project

Thu, Aug 17 2023

Stellantis said it would invest more than $100 million in California's Controlled Thermal Resources, its latest bet on the direct lithium extraction (DLE) sector amid the global hunt for new sources of the electric vehicle battery metal. The investment by the Chrysler and Jeep parent announced on Thursday comes as the green energy transition and U.S. Inflation Reduction Act have fueled concerns that supplies of lithium and other materials may fall short of strong demand forecasts. DLE technologies vary, but each aims to mechanically filter lithium from salty brine deposits and thus avoid the need for open pit mines or large evaporation ponds, the two most common but environmentally challenging ways to extract the battery metal. Stellantis, which has said half of its fleet will be electric by 2030, also agreed to nearly triple the amount of lithium it will buy from Controlled Thermal, boosting a previous order to 65,000 metric tons annually for at least 10 years, starting in 2027. "This is a significant investment and goes a long way toward developing this key project," Controlled Thermal CEO Rod Colwell said in an interview. The company plans to spend more than $1 billion to separate lithium from superhot geothermal brines extracted from beneath California's Salton Sea after flashing steam off those brines to spin turbines that will produce electricity starting next year. That renewable power is expected to cut the amount of carbon emitted during lithium production. Rival Berkshire Hathaway has struggled to produce lithium from the same area given large concentrations of silica in the brine that can form glass when cooled, clogging pipes. Colwell said a $65 million facility recently installed by Controlled Thermal can remove that silica and other unwanted metals. DLE equipment licensed from Koch Industries would then remove the lithium. "We're very happy with the equipment," he said. "We're going to deliver. There's just no doubt about it." Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares called the Controlled Thermal partnership "an important step in our care for our customers and our planet as we work to provide clean, safe and affordable mobility." Both companies declined to provide the specific investment amount. Controlled Thermal aims to obtain final permits by October and start construction of a commercial lithium plant soon thereafter, Colwell said. Goldman Sachs is leading the search for additional debt and equity financing, he added.

How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.

Stellantis mega-merger gets approval from FCA, PSA shareholders

Mon, Jan 4 2021

MILAN — Shareholders of Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot decisively voted Monday to merge the U.S.-Italian and French carmakers to create worldÂ’s 4th-largest auto company. Addressing separate meetings, both PSA Peugeot CEO Carlos Tavares and Fiat Chrysler Chairman John Elkann spoke of the “historic” importance of the vote, which combines legacy car companies that helped write the industrial histories of the United States, France and Italy. Before the merger is finalized, shares in the new company, to be called Stellantis, must the launched. It will be traded in Milan, New York and Paris. The marriage of PSA Peugeot and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is built on the promise of cost-savings in the capital-hungry industry, but what remains to be seen is if it will be able to preserve jobs and heritage brands in a global market still suffering from the pandemic. The deal will create the worldÂ’s fourth-largest carmaker, with the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, behind Volkswagen, Toyota and Renault-Nissan, and create 5 billion euros in annual synergies.  “We are fully aware of the fact that together we will be stronger than individually,'' PSA CEO Carlos Tavares told a virtual gathering of eligible shareholders. “The two companies are in good health. These two companies have strong positions in their markets.” The new company will put together under one roof French mass-market carmakers Peugeot and Citroen, top-selling Jeep and Italian luxury and sports brands Maserati and Alfa Romeo - pooling companies that have helped define the industry in the United States, France and Italy. While the tie-up is billed as a merger of equals, the power advantage goes to PSA, with Tavares running Stellantis and holding the tie-breaking vote on the 11-seat board. Tavares is set to take full control of the company early this year, possibly by the end of January. Fiat Chrysler chairman John Elkann, heir to the Fiat-founding Agnelli family and Fiat ChryslerÂ’s biggest shareholder, will be the Stellantis chairman. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will head North American operations, which is key to Tavares' long-time goal of getting a U.S. foothold for the French carmaker he has run since 2014, and the clear money-maker for Fiat Chrysler. Such a deal was long wanted by Fiat ChryslerÂ’s long-time CEO Sergio Marchionne, who had predicted the necessity of consolidation in the industry. He was unable to find a deal before his sudden death in July 2018.
