Up for auction/sale is my Dodge Ram SST. I'm the original owner. Truck has 55,080 original miles. It is air bagged with 2 compressors and 2 tanks. It was done professionally at The Drop Zone in Arlington Texas. Rear end is basically body dropped front end does have aftermarket fender wells to protect engine from dirt. Door handles, gas tank and tailgate handle have been removed. The interior will need finishing. There is after market racing seats installed, custom box with 4 10" speakers and a fiberglass console. The sending unit is Digital Dakota and can be hooked up to a switch box. Has a Viper alarm with control pad that operates the door poppers and electronic start. This truck does need some work as it has been sitting. I took pics with the paint wet to give the buyer alil idea of what it could look like cleaned up.
Here's what I know it needs: New door panels Stereo installed Paint & body work complete The wheels are on spacers and are pitted from sitting. I would recommend replacing them to provide a better fit when truck is slammed or turning. They are 22" Oasis Ludacris. There is a loose fitting on one of the rear bags that will need to be looked at. rear end has hard wired air lines and front is wire braided. Total cost of bagging truck was $10k. I showed this truck for a few years and it was generally babied. Miles are original. It will be a great truck for someone who is into lowered trucks. Front end could be made back to a non moving suspension if buyer would like. I have lowering springs that will come with truck if desired. I will try answering all questions promptly. Thanks for looking. |

Dodge Journey gets new $24,895* SE V6 AWD model
Wed, 12 Mar 2014While the Dodge Journey crossover remains largely unchanged for the 2014 model year, there are two new flavors of the seven-passenger CUV on offer: the butch-looking Crossroad, and the SE V6 AWD, pictured right, which makes its debut today. As its name suggests, this new Journey model features the automaker's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, and offers all-wheel drive, which, with a starting price of $24,895 (*excluding $995 for destination), reduces the cost-of-entry for an AWD-equipped Journey by $1,800 versus the SXT AWD model. Scroll down for the official press blast.
2025 SRT Hellcat concepts as previewed by high schoolers
Thu, Jan 21 2016Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has some very talented designers in its ranks. Like any good company, though, the automaker is always on the lookout for early talent. Even if they're still in high school. One of those talent-seeking initiatives is the company's Drive for Design contest, an event open to tenth-, eleventh-, and twelfth-grade students that are hoping for a future in design. For this year's event, students from across the country were given a shot to design their vision for a 2025 model-year Dodge SRT Hellcat. The results are impressive, as you can see in the gallery above. First place went to Ben Treinen, from Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati. Second place was the only award to go to a student outside the Rust Belt, with Macon, GA's Harrison Kunselman, a student at Mount de Sales Academy taking the silver. Third place was won by a metro Detroiter – Bloomfield Hills High School student Hwanseong Jang, while fourth went to Andrew Gombac of Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL. According to FCA, all four winners will have their sketches on display at the 2016 Autorama at Cobo Center at the end of February. They'll also win some pretty nifty prizes. First place will get a new Apple MacBook Pro, while second, third, and fourth get the new Apple iPad Pro and Apple Pencil (arguably just as good of a prize for budding designers). All four finishers will also attend a three-week automotive design course at Detroit's prestigious College for Creative Studies, have dinner with FCA designers, and score three passes to Autorama. FCA will cover travel and lodging to Auburn Hills. Read on for the official blast from FCA. The FCA US Drive for Design contest challenged U.S. high school students in grades 10-12 to design a Dodge SRT Hellcat for the year 2025. "The Drive for Design contest continues to be a great way for the FCA US Design team to connect with students that show an interest in art and design," said Mark Trostle – Head of Dodge and SRT Design, FCA US LLC.
470,000 Jeep Liberty, Chrysler 200, and Dodge Avenger models recalled for restraint defect
Sat, Oct 14 2017Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said on Friday it is recalling 470,000 vehicles worldwide to replace a component that may inhibit deployment of the vehicles' active head restraints in the event of a crash. Around 414,000 of those vehicles were sold in the United States. Apparently, "a component common to the modules of certain vehicles may degrade after extensive vehicle use." The recall covers 2012 Jeep Liberty sport utility vehicles and 2012-13 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger midsize cars. FCA says a warning light may alert owners to the problem. The Italian-American automaker said it is unaware of any injuries or accidents related to the recall. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration opened an investigation into the issue in June. (Reporting by David Shepardson; Editing by Steve Orlofsky) Related Video:
