I HAVE HAD THIS TRUCK SINCE I BOUGHT IT NEW WITH LESS THAN 200MI. IN DEC. 2007. ITS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND ADULT DRIVEN. ONLY EXTIRIOR COSMETIC I NOTICE IS REAR TAIL LENSES CRACKED AND A DENT ON THE TAIL GATE, THE BUMPER AND DIRECTLY BEHIND IT WHERE SOMEONE BACKED INTO ME. BOTH ARE SHOWN IN PICS AND MINOR. SINCE THE FIRST OIL CHANGE I HAVE ONLY USED MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC OIL. IT HAS HAD FRONT SEAT COVERS ON SINCE THE FIRST WEEK I HAD IT, THEY LOOK NEW. OTHER THAN COSMETICS IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE, ON A SCALE TO 10 I'D GIVE IT A 9. IT HAS 3 OTHER MINOR REPAIRS I WILL HAVE FIXED BY THE DEALER BEFORE DELIVERY. 1. SMALL RATTLE UP FRONT " PROBABLY A BUSHING" 2. CHARCOAL CAN FOR EGR NEEDS REPLACED, CAUSEING FAULT CODE "50$ PART" AND 3. A/C FAN BLOWS SAME FORCE ON SETTING 3 AS SETTING 1. "RELAY OR SWITCH PROBLEM"
I ASSURE YOU YOU ARE BUYING THE BEST PRE-OWNED TRUCK FROM AN HONEST SELLER THAT WOULD PREFER TO KEEP IT. THE REASON I MUST SELL IS THANKS TO AN EX GIRLFRIEND WHO WAS NOT IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL, SHE LEFT ME WITH TWO CAR NOTES AND SOME FINANCIAL TROUBLES. I HAVE NEGATIVE EQUITY IN THE OTHER VEHICLE, SO I MUST SELL THE BABY TO FIX THE EX'S WAKE OF DEVISTATAION.
AS FAR AS FUEL MILAGE, IF ITS DRIVEN NICE I CAN PULL 19-20 MPG ON HIGHWAY, AND AROUND 14 MPG CITY.
MY RESERVE IS LESS THAN WHOLESALE, AND I HAVE YET TO SEE ANY OTHER TRUCK LIKE THIS ONE ON EBAY, CRAIGSLIST, AUTO TRADER, ETC... GO FOR LESS THAN $16000+.
THIS TIME THE SAYING "MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN" HOLDS TRUE!!!! I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP ARRANGE SHIPPING BY TAKING TRUCK TO AUTO SHIPPER, OR MAY BE ABLE TO DELIVER IN PERSON, ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO AUCTION END.
CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS, 817-505-6814, JAMES.

Only in Japan: Dodge van one-make racing series is a thing
Wed, Jul 15 2015Japan seems willing to embrace a level of automotive insanity that many other places lack. Whether it's 1,200-horsepower Nissan GT-Rs blasting through tight, tree-lined mountain roads or advertisements with dances for the Toyota Prius Plug-in, the country definitely has a unique way of expressing a love for autos. The D-Van Grand Prix might be one of our favorite examples yet of crazy Japanese car culture, because the annual, one-make race at the Ebisu Circuit is exclusively for heavily customized Dodge vans. Like many great things, this wonderfully crazy idea came from a little rule breaking. D-Van Grand Prix organizer Takuro Abe was at a track event for a motorcycle racing school, and vans were used to haul the bikes around. During lunch someone came up with the idea for a race. Ignoring that the big machines weren't actually allowed on the circuit, the drivers headed out. The popularity has just grown since then. These days, the racing vans absolutely aren't the stock machines from the event's inspiration. In addition to stripped interiors and track rubber that you might expect, the list of mods for them is a mile long. For every possible advantage, the racers fit them with things like Brembo brakes, cross-drilled rotors, heavy-duty transmissions, and much more. Seeing vans lumbering around the track is very weird at first, but the racers take the competition very seriously. These folks even employ all sorts of little tricks to coax the most from the machines. This is a fascinating motorsports story, but be sure to turn on the subtitles to understand the interviews with the competitors.
2013 Dodge Challenger R/T hits the Redline
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Dodge has added a bit of spice to its Hemi-powered Challenger for 2013, offering up this new Redline package that makes its official debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The R/T Redline builds on the Rallye Redline kit that was created for the V6 Challenger, and we like how these subtle changes add to the muscle coupe's already classic styling.
In addition to the black chrome 20-inch wheels with red accents, the R/T Redline adds subtle graphics along the beltline. Inside, cars equipped with the six-speed manual transmission get a performance tuned exhaust that allows the engine to send a full 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. (Redline Challengers with the five-speed automatic produce 372 hp and 400 lb-ft.)
The Redline package retails for $1,995 and can be had on both Challenger R/T and R/T Plus models. Scroll down for the full press blast.
The Dodge Challenger plays its trump card: all-wheel drive
Wed, Dec 7 2016Perennially stuck in third place behind the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro in sales and enthusiast comparisons, the Dodge Challenger is doing something unconventional for a muscle couple. It's adding all-wheel drive. It's a new feature for Detroit's pony cars – none of the three have ever had it – and it could be a game-changer. Called the Challenger GT, the Dodge launches this winter for a starting price of $34,490. The Challenger GT comes with the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 rated at 305 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. It teams with an eight-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission and is estimated to get 18 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. An FCA spokesperson said no manual transmission or V8 models will be offered on the all-wheel-drive Challenger. It will be on display in January at the Detroit auto show. View 8 Photos All-wheel drive is a widely expected addition for the Challenger. The coupe shares underpinnings with the four-door Charger, which offers an all-wheel drive variant and the cars have similar powertrain offerings (the AWD Charger is also V6 and automatic only). Naturally, the Challenger borrows the Charger's AWD system and during regular driving conditions, the front axle disengages and full torque goes to the back wheels, allowing the Challenger to function as a rear-wheel drive car. It automatically goes back to AWD when more traction is needed. Handling is also fortified with a vehicle dynamic control system. Conversely, the electronic stability control has three modes and can be switched off for drift-happy enthusiasts. The GT has features familiar to other Challenger and Dodge owners, including an 8.4-inch touchscreen radio, Performance Pages (accessible through the Super Trak Pack button), and paddle shifters. A Sport Mode changes shift points to improve acceleration. It all rolls on 19-inch wheels wrapped in all-season rubber. The exterior gets a hood bulge, LED head- and taillights, and a decklid spoiler. The Challenger GT also offers a $995-interior package different than RWD models, adding Nappa leather, Alcantara suede seats, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, performance steering wheel, and more. All of that is just window dressing. It's all-wheel drive that could be a difference-maker for consumers. The Challenger won't likely be able to take down the Mustang, which will finish 2016 as the pony car sales king.
