1953 Dodge Power Wagon Model # T245 M-37. This is a very unique all original truck that was previously used by the Maine Forest Service and the Portland Fire Dept. on Great Diamond Island and Cushing's Island in Casco Bay. This truck was given to my father by the city after years of service as a caretaker on a island. There have been no replacement or aftermarket additions to this vehicle. If you are searching for those hard to find original parts this is what you need. I have not run the truck for over 8 years. It did run well but I have not had the time to do anything with it. I am looking to find a home for it to be restored. . The truck is still completely original including that hard to find tailgate. It is a soft-top that just recently tore in a Thunderstorm. It has some rust around the front windshield, tailgate, and where the battery box was under the front seat.

Fiat Chrysler picks Google, Samsung for global connected car system
Tue, Apr 30 2019DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler said on Tuesday it will use technology from Alphabet Inc's Google and Samsung to connect all its vehicles by 2022, providing music and video and facilitating future car-sharing and self-driving capabilities. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (FCA) will use Google's Android operating system globally instead of a mixture of software that varies by region, a spokesman said. The automaker will also use a cloud-based digital platform from Samsung Electronics Co Ltd's Harman unit. Unlike its rivals General Motors and Ford, FCA has spent virtually nothing on developing self-driving vehicle technology. This saves the company large amounts of money, but makes it reliant on outside parties to provide technology and systems. FCA said it will launch the new capabilities in the second half of 2019. The company said the system will aid owners "by predicting maintenance needs, locating fuel and charging stations, receiving traffic prompts and restaurant offers and providing live customer-care assistance at the push of the button." Watch a Dodge Viper driver show off his V10 all the way into a wall
Mon, Apr 11 2016Has there ever been a show-off video that doesn't end terribly? This video clip captured with a cellphone shows the driver of a neon green Viper GTS giving a fellow motorist a couple throttle blips to signify his intent – which seems to be to crash the Viper into a concrete wall as quickly as possible. It's not pretty. The mean machine seems to be a second-generation Viper GTS in Stryker Green. To our knowledge, no photos have surfaced of the aftermath, so we wish both the driver and their most-likely bruised ego a speedy recovery. Who knows, maybe the Viper is also salvageable.
