Year:1978 Mileage:55000
Location:

I HAVE A VERY HARD TO FIND 1978 DODGE POWER WAGON 4X4 SHORT BED! IT HAS THE ORIGINAL 318 IN IT...NOT SURE WHAT ALL MODS HAVE BEEN DONE TO IT BUT IT HAS HEADERS WITH FLOW MASTER EXHAUST, HIGH RISE ELDEBROCK INTAKE, HOLLEY CARBURETOR ETC.  THE MOTOR RUNS VERY STRONG!! ITS A BAD MAMMA JAMMA!! THE TRUCK RUNS AND DRIVES, THE 4X4 WORKS AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY BUT THE FRONT TRANNY SEAL DOES LEAK WHICH IT HAS NOT BEEN RAN LOW ON FLUID ( A SEAL IS ALL THIS TRUCK NEEDS TO BE AN A1 DAILY DRIVER!! )  THE ODOMETER READS RIGHT AT 55,000 BUT THE TITLE DOES SAY EXEMPT. THIS TRUCK IS VERY SOLID FOR WHAT IT IS AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT RESTORATION PROJECT!! THE INSIDE IS COMPLETE AND FOR THE MOST PART COMPLETE ( RADIO IS MISSING AND A COUPLE LITTLE THINGS). IF YOU HEAR THIS THING RUN, YOU WILL BE AMAZED!! ITS A POWERFUL TRUCK THATS FOR SURE...YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS OLD BEAST :)

Chrysler recalling over 280k minivans because airbags may deploy on wrong side

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

Chrysler has issued a recall for some 2013 Town & Country, Dodge Grand Caravan and Ram C/V Tradesman vans built between May 10, 2012 and June 7, 2013. These vehicles may have a software error that would cause the wrong side (opposite side) airbags to deploy in a crash. With this defect, a left-side impact would cause the right-side airbag to deploy, etc.
The recall affects 281,500 vehicles in total: 224k in the US, 49,300 in Canada, 2,900 in Mexico and 5,300 in other locations. Chrysler will notify owners of effected vehicles, and reflash the offending occupant restraint control module to resolve the issue. Defiance Dodge Charger, saving Earth from aliens isn't clean work [w/video]

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

You'll be forgiven for not having heard about the TV show Defiance - it actually hasn't aired its first episode yet. The new science fiction show about an alien war against Earth in the near future seems like a perfect fit for the SyFy channel, and, apparently one that Dodge saw as a slick marketing opportunity for its Charger sedan.
Here in Chicago, Dodge has given a large corner of its show stand to the Defiance Charger, a car that won't be skipped by any Mad Max fans in attendance at this year's show. The Charger boasts one hell of a gnarly patina under a confusingly welded cage of tube steel, as well as window bars, a grille guard in front, and big, knobby truck tires. There aren't any obvious guns or turrets on the outside of the vehicle, so we can only hope that the characters driving it go well-armed.
Look for the Charger to make its star turn in Defiance when the series premieres on SyFy on April 15 at 9:00 PM EST. Also, there's said to be a Defiance video game in the works, too, so you may get a chance to steer the burly Dodge for yourself. Find a trailer for the show, below, as well.

2015 Dodge Challenger looks fresh, still plenty retro [w/video]

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

It was the Ford Mustang that kicked off the retro-styled muscle car renaissance back in 2005, but it was the Dodge Challenger that served as the movement's poster child, with its unabashedly retro looks. Over the years, though, as the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro were freshened and upgraded, the look of the big Dodge has remained largely consistent since its 2008 debut. For 2015, the Challenger has received a big freshening, boasting strongly revised front and rear ends and (finally, finally, finally) a redesigned interior.
Let's talk about that new cabin first. It's basically been plucked directly from the redesigned Charger, and boasts the same seven-inch IP display. The center stack's miserable, last-gen display has been replaced by an expansive, 8.4-inch UConnect system. Material quality should see a solid boost with the new cabin, as well.
The exterior, meanwhile, sees a revised front fascia with LED halo lights, as well as new grille inserts. A functional shaker hood scoop is a must-have extra on the V8 models, while the back of the car is highlighted by a new set of LED taillights that don't use the "Racetrack" design of Dodge's other models.
