Truck is in nice shape overall, see above for the probelems that I have listed, definatly needs some work. I am the second owner, was bought new by a guy that was a logger in Oragon in the winter and lived in Tok Alaska in the summer so it drove up and down Alcan a lot . He drove it all his life and I bought it from His son. It  should be 172000 miles or so the actual miles will change as I am driving it some times I listed the miles as unkown as it has the 100000 mile odometer and I have no way to verify that its on its second turn. These are some things that I have done, Last year new ball joints, and one tie rod end,new front shocks and coil springs with lift blocks, new front wheel bearings, calipers, and break pads and front break hoses. Truck was repainted last year ,not perfect but looks pretty good for a truck that's over 40 years old. Fuel injectors were rebuilt last year as well as the mechanical lift pump and primer that's attached to the injection pump the original fuel filter bowl cracked so  I have replased it with a Fram HPG-1 canister type fuel filter .  Has a propane injection unit on it with the tank in the pick-up bed also has an fs-2500 bypass oil filter.  As listed above the engine is worn out and burns a lot of oil athough it starts, runs and drives ok.  I would not recommend that the buyer drive this truck along ways as is .  The glow plugs are wired up with a push botton on the dash and it  it has a mechanical fuel shut of on the dash like a big truck. Glow plugs were replaesd in 2012 . Truck has a straight pipe exhaust. Tires are not that good and the transmission seams a bit soft, drivers door boes not always open correctly from the inside, door seals are shot and thare is a rip in the seat.  Bed mounted fuel tank and fire department licence plate do not go with the truck and will be removed when sold.  For more information you can call me  at 907-378-9697 please keep in mind that I am in interior Alaska and that we are 4 and 5 hours behind the east coast time so please do not call me in the midel of the night . Do not text me!!.   Buyer is resonsebel for shipping and this thing  needs to be gone by September as cold weather will complicate things.  $500  non refundebel deposite due in 24 hours by pay pal. Balance due in 48 hours no warrenty or returns.  Non paying buyers will get negative feedback.  Truck is for sale locally so I will end auction if it sells hear .  Thanks  for looking..l

Marchionne nixes talk of a reborn Dodge Viper

Sun, May 27 2018

UPDATE: According to Automobile Magazine's Todd Lassa, FCA chief Sergio Marchionne shot down the idea of a reborn Viper, saying "it's not in the plan." Marchionne was referring to Fiat Chrysler's five-year plan, which we've been covering in bits and pieces as the news filters out. But it's not out of the realm of possibility, apparently, as Marchionne reportedly said he'd be happy to see the reptilian supercar back in production. And it's not all bad news, anyway. A reborn Alfa Romeo 8C will get a carbon-fiber chassis holding a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6. With more than 700 horsepower, including an electrically-driven front axle, the car should hit 62 mph in fewer than 3 seconds. Also, three versions of a Maserati Alfieri will be produced, including a convertible. An electrified all-wheel-drive powertrain is planned. So, performance is coming from FCA, it just may not be from Dodge. View 36 Photos First came the mourning for the Dodge Viper, which ended production last year. Then came the Viper's continued sales run as a "Zombie Car;" we just wrote about how the Viper has racked up 11 sales so far this year, two of them in April. Now Car and Driver reports that the two-seater snake will return shorty for its second encore after being discontinued in 2009. The mag isn't equivocal about it, either, writing, "trust us: A new Viper is happening." It won't, however, be the same Viper that brought ten-cylinder brass knuckles to shake down other coupes for their wallets and jewelry. CD says we should expect the same front-mid-engine layout and rear-wheel drive tucked into a new spaceframe. That engine will lose two cylinders, with Chrysler's next-gen, aluminum-block V8 Hemi slotting into the engine bay. The previous Viper's V10 had grown to 8.4 liters and 640 horsepower by the time it drove into the sunset. CD guesses the coming Viper will start with a naturally-aspirated version of the Hemi V8 working up around 550 horsepower. Healthy doses of aluminum and carbon fiber would restrain the car's weight, on top of the weight loss from swapping an iron V10 for an aluminum V8. SRT could tart up the horsepower with a few performance trims, before a supercharged V8 with 700-plus horsepower arrives at some point after launch. The mag also suspects the initial offering will be a convertible, the hardtop appearing "a few years after launch," which could coincide with the more powerful engine. A row-your-own shifter will sit between the seats.

Dodge Hellcats getting price hike

Fri, Aug 21 2015

Dodge plans twice as many Hellcats on the road for the 2016 model year, they are going to be a bit more expensive when buyers sign on the dotted line. According to CarsDirect and confirmed to Autoblog by Dodge, 2016 Challenger SRT Hellcat costs $65,190, an increase of $4,200 over 2015. That figure includes $995 for destination and $1,700 for the Gas Guzzler charge. The latest Charger SRT Hellcat retails for $68,640, a $3,650 increase. Other SRT trims of the muscle cars also see a price hike. The 2016 Challenger SRT 392 is $51,190, after destination and a $1,000 guzzler charger – a $3,500 increase. The Charger SRT 392 also jumps $3,000, to $51,990. Even at 2015's prices, Dodge was having problems keeping up with demand for the Hellcat, and the higher price isn't likely to change that. And before you think the company is going plum crazy, the 2016 models of all four muscle cars come standard with Laguna leather seats and navigation. According to company spokesperson Dan Reid to Autoblog, both items had a "very high customer take rate," and the previously optional features are valued at $2,490. Dodge previously announced a discount for those who had a sold 2015 Hellcat order canceled in the switch to 2016. Those amount to $5,000 on the Challenger and $4,000 Charger, which seems like a sweet deal for those customers. Related Video:
