1976 Dodge D100 Adventure Pickup

NO RESERVE!

Listing this for the original owner who is an old friend of the family.

Truck has been stored for the last three years, when the owner had to quit driving due to his age.

Equipped with the 318 V8 engine, Air Conditioning, Automatic transmission, Power steering, Cruise control, Power brakes, RWD.

Has always had a camper shell on it since new, was removed recently by his grandson.

Runs and drives, has a leak at the transmission seal that will need to be replaced, engine starts and runs good but would recommend a complete tune up and service.

Body in good condition, drivers side floor rusted thru, will need to be replaced, drivers door has rust in the lower corners.  This is due to how the truck was parked and stored for the last few years.

Bed, tailgate, front clip, passenger door and the rest of the cab have no rust.  All glass is good.

Bed is in excellent condition, shows no dents in it.

Truck has had one repaint.

Tires in good condition.

Vehicle is not currently registered, has a clear and clean California title.  Is currently in non-op status, no back fees due.

Truck is drivable but would recommend to be towed or trailered due to transmission leak and recommended tune up and maintenance that should be done.

Widebody Challenger Hellcat spotted with no camouflage

Mon, May 8 2017

Well this is a mightily mysterious muscle car. One of our photographers caught this Dodge Challenger out testing without any camouflage. At first glance it looks like an SRT Demon, since it has the same widebody flares and front spoiler of the hellacious Challenger. However, the hood is from a garden-variety Hellcat (as if such a thing existed...), the rear spoiler has an SRT Hellcat badge, and the wheels don't come from the kitty or the Hellspawn. We have two theories as to what this SRT mishmash may be. Our first is that this is perhaps a next-generation Hellcat that takes advantage of some of the Demon's developments. It could have a more potent engine under the hood, perhaps with the extra fuel pumps and air-conditioned intercooler, along with the Demon's beefier driveline. It would be a way to keep the Hellcat relevant, and a way for people who might miss out on the one-year-only Demon to get the next closest thing. Our other theory is that this is an all-wheel-drive Hellcat. The wide fender flares and chin spoiler appeared on an all-wheel-drive Challenger concept before they made their way to the Demon. And with the introduction of the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, we know that Mopar has an all-wheel-drive system that can handle the grunt of the 707-horsepower Hellcat mill. If an all-wheel-drive Hellcat is in the cards, it would be another way to keep the Hellcat line fresh without too much investment, and would be a treat for fans of the old all-wheel-drive concept. It would also probably be a great seller here in snowy Michigan. Oh, and it would certainly post some amazing 0-30 acceleration times. Related Video:

Will the Dodge Demon do a 10-second quarter-mile?

Fri, Apr 7 2017

The final teaser for the Dodge Demon is finally here, and it might just give us a clue as to how quick the new car really is. A brief glimpse at a time slip shows what might be a 10-second quarter-mile time. That's a significant step up from the standard Hellcat's 11.7 seconds, but considering all of the Demon's modifications, it's not an unreasonable time. The new video, "Judgment Day," shows the new Demon in its natural habitat, a quarter-mile drag strip. There isn't much new information, aside from the brief glimpse at a time slip. There is a good shot of the car in action and some nice audio from what we assume is a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi. For comparison, the new 2016 Chevrolet COPO Camaro is capable of a 10.7-second quarter-mile run, while the 2016 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet dips all the way down into the 8s. The full reveal is less than a week away. Look for more information, including the long-awaited horsepower rating, next week during our coverage of the 2017 New York Auto Show.
