Year:1976 Mileage:65948
Location:

Walsenburg, Colorado, United States

Walsenburg, Colorado, United States

I am offering this 1976 Dodge Club Cab pickup with the Travel Queen camper with a reserve.  I have had this Dodge for about 2 years.  It has an Etelbrock intake with a Holley carb and header.  It starts and runs great.  Most of the truck is original paint with it just starting to show a little rust as shown in the pictures.  It has later bucket seats and also has the rear flip down seats from the factory.  The windshield has a crack and the rest of the glass is good.  The truck has dual exhausts.  I also have the tailgate to go with the pickup.

The truck camper is a Travel Queen made in Riverside, CA in the mid-sixties.  The auction is for both, but I would sell them separately.  The picvtures show the condition of it.  I have some factory literature for the camper.

If you have any questions, or would like more pictures and information, please feel free to contact “Arnold” at 719-738-6442 or email through eBay.  This vehicle is advertised locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction early should it sell.  The vehicle is sold without a warranty, written or implied, and is sold "as-is where is".   DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY!!!

Shipping is at buyer’s expense.  I can assist in finding a transport company, or I may be able to personally transport the vehicle, depending upon location,

A $500 non-refundable Paypal deposit is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction and the balance paid with a bank to bank wire transfer, cash or validated U.S bank cashier check within five (5) days of the close of the auction.  All funds must clear my account before the vehicle or title will be released.

ALWAYS READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING.  Placing a bid on this auction certifies that you understand the terms of sale listed on this auction and will be bound to payment for your winning bid amount within two days of auction close.  ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY!!

2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.

2003-04 Dodge Viper recalled for sudden airbag deployment

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

As if driving the old Dodge Viper (not the fancy new SRT model) isn't intimidating enough, imagine trying to wrangle that V10 beast and then suddenly having the airbags deploy. Yikes. That's apparently what could happen to some 3,660 Viper models from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and as such, Chrysler has issued a recall.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, part of the car's airbag control module may fail, causing the bags or seatbelt pre-tensioners to deploy without warning while the vehicle is in operation. That's a dangerous scenario in any car, let alone one offering insane horsepower a near-total paucity of safety nannies should things get squirrely.
Owners will be notified this month about the recall, though a remedy is not expected to be available until later this year. Scroll down for the full NHTSA statement.

Hero gets his truck back better than new thanks to community support [w/video]

Sun, 29 Jun 2014

You ever hear a story and start cringing before you hear the end because you know how it's going to turn out? That could very well have been the case with the story from a few weeks ago in West Valley City, Utah, where a 14-year-old kid stole his grandfather's Hyundai Veloster and took it for a joyride - through a park full of children. But instead it turned into a heart-warming tale of heroism and a community banding together to do what's right... and then some.
Bryson Rowley was that hero who identified the danger and, rather than sit idly by and watch the joyrider potentially run over a child, got into his truck and drove it into the menacing runaway hatchback. The collision caused some $7,500 to his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, but instead of getting stuck with the bill - one which his insurance may very well have refused to pay since the crash was, technically speaking, intentional - his community pitched in a helping hand.
Bryan Ellison, who owns West Valley Carstar with his brother, saw the news on television and wanted to help. So he brought Rowley a rental car, picked up his truck and brought it back to his auto repair shop. People from around the community donated parts, and when all was said and done, some $15,000 of work and upgrades were performed on the Ram that was returned to an overwhelmed Bryson Rowley better than new. Watch the video below for the full story.
