Due to a current hardship, I have decided that I need to sell my truck. This sweptline Dodge has been my favorite truck I have owned. It is much more rare than all of the Chevy and Ford trucks you see from the same year, and the look of the Dodge sweptline is so unique.
It comes with a STRONG running 318 engine. It is not the original engine, but it is a beast.

The transmission was swapped far before I bought this truck, and it was changed from a 3 on the tree, to an automatic. When I bought the truck, it had a 904 transmission in it. I thought the transmission felt weak, so I bought a more stout 727 transmission for the truck. I have the 727 installed, but it needs the shift linkage and kickdown linkage installed. The transmission crossmember needs to be drilled to bolt the 727 transmission to it. Finally, the driveshaft needs to be shortened. I have 2 driveshafts that I will include with the truck. I have called a local driveshaft shop, and they quoted me $40 to shorten the driveshaft.

Overall, the body is in good condition. There is some rust in the floorboard areas that was patched with fiberglass before I bought the truck. There also is a small amount of rust at the very bottom of the doors and a small amount under the front lip of the hood and some in the bed. The fenders and rear quarter panels are good, the cab looks good, and the frame looks good.

I believe all lights are working on the truck except one of the lowbeams on the driver headlight.

I have 2 gauge clusters that will be included with the truck. I have noticed that the fuel gauge and battery voltage gauge either function intermittently or don't work. I have not tried to look into it yet, and I believe it is possible that the problem could just be wiring. I don't know the functionality of the other gauge cluster, but it looks good.

The paint looks great in the pictures, but it does have some sags and runs that need to be addressed.

Overall, this is a very unique, awesome truck that you just don't see around everyday. It has potential to either be restored, turned into a rat rod, or driven in its current condition (with final transmission hookups made.) I really hate to see it go. My wife and little girl even like it, but financially it would be a bad decision to keep it right now. I hope to see it go to someone who can drive and appreciate it. So, win the bid,  bring your trailer, and haul home a fantastic piece of history.

Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet

Wed, Oct 7 2015

Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.

Feds accuse Fiat Chrysler, UAW of conspiring to break labor laws

Wed, Jun 13 2018

DETROIT — Top officials of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the United Auto Workers union conspired to violate U.S. labor laws, federal prosecutors alleged in a court document, saying a former executive at the automaker knew bribes paid to union leaders were designed to "grease the skids" in labor negotiations. U.S. Justice Department officials for the first time called the company and the union "co-conspirators" in a document related to a guilty plea agreed by former Fiat Chrysler director of employee relations Michael Brown. The document was filed with the U.S. District Court in Detroit on May 25. Its contents were reported by the Detroit News on Wednesday. Brown pleaded guilty to one count of concealing a felony. The plea agreement stated that he knew Fiat Chrysler executives authorized $1.5 million in improper payments and travel, liquor, cigars and other goods for UAW officials who served on the union's negotiating committee. Prosecutors say FCA executives paid UAW representatives to influence union business. including collective bargaining on contracts ratified in 2011 and 2015. The government contends money was run through the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center, via false charitable donations and training center credit cards. Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Officer Sergio Marchionne has said in the past that the misconduct "had nothing whatsoever to do with the collective bargaining process" and the "egregious acts were neither known to nor sanctioned" by the company. Fiat Chrysler had no further comment Monday. Outgoing UAW President Dennis Williams told union leaders at a conference in Detroit on Monday "our leadership team had no knowledge of the misconduct — which involved former union members and former auto executives — until it was brought to our attention by the government." Brown pleaded guilty on May 25, according to court documents, and will be sentenced on Sept. 20. Five other people have pleaded guilty in the government's ongoing investigation into the UAW and Fiat Chrysler, including the wife of a late UAW official, two other former UAW employees, former Fiat Chrysler vice president Alphons Iacobelli and another former Fiat Chrysler employee.
