Dodge M37 3/4 Ton This is an old military M37 that needs a good fixing up. The truck is believed to be a late 40s mid 50s model. Bought from a family friend around 6 months ago and was running 1 year prior to me purchasing it. We put a battery in and poured gas in the carb and it would fire up but you had to leave the choke on full. This was done the day it was bought. Needs some carb work for sure but other than that the engine is in good shape. Very easy to access and work on. It has the driver side window is busted but still in tacked. It does have surface rust on it with some spots rusted threw but nothing that cant be easily fabricated. I had planned on fixing it up myself for just a cool old military vehicle but never got around to it. The cab needs a new seat with some work on little nit picky stuff. It also has the original PTO winch on the front that is still in working condition. You could move anything with one of those. The bed is made from treated wood for easy hauling of things. This will make somebody a great project vehicle and parts are relatively easy to find on eBay. THERE IS NO TITLE!!! Just to make that clear it was bought and will be sold on Bill of Sale ONLY!! Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recalls nearly 750k vehicles in two campaigns
Thu, 16 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling a total of 747,817 vehicles in the US in two separate campaigns recently added to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration database.
The first one covers about 434,581 units of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Challenger, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee from the 2011-2014 model years with electric hydraulic power steering, the 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 160 amp alternator, according to FCA. In the affected vehicles, it's possible for the alternator to fail without warning and possibly cause the car to stall. According to the documentation submitted to NHTSA, the automaker began investigating the problem in August 2014 and has found possible evidence of one crash caused by the failures but no known injuries.
Customers will begin receiving notification about the recall next month, and obviously the repairs will be done at no cost to them.
Small number of 2013 Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger models recalled
Sun, 24 Feb 2013A small number of units of the 2013 Chrysler 200 (inset) and 2013 Dodge Avenger are being recalled over a broken control valve in the fuel tank assembly. The potential 1,785 sedans were manufactured late last year, and if affected with a broken control valve could suffer from stalling or fuel leakage.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notes that the recall should begin next month, at which time owners can take their cars to dealers for repair free of charge. The full release with more information is just below.
