Up for sale is this very nice, low mileage 2005 Dodge Neon SE. This Neon is super clean and has a bright red exterior with black cloth interior. The color of this car looks so nice and sporty. The fabric seats are in perfect condition as well as the rest of the interior. This Neon just turned 79k miles and it runs and drives fantastically. This is an extremely low mileage vehicle, especially for its year! The drive is so smooth and quiet. This vehicle has a clean carfax and it is owner by the 2nd owner since new. She has owned the vehicle since 2007.
Every feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The air conditioning in this car is ICE cold. This vehicle was fully professionally detailed and now its up for sale to its next lucky owner.
This Neon is a very economical and safe way to travel. This vehicle has a reliable 4 cylinder engine that gets almost 40MPG's! This vehicle is also very safe because it has driver and passenger airbags and also has ABS brakes. This is a great vehicle for someone who is traveling back and forth and needs something that is compact and easy to drive. This vehicle is also very cheap on gas and very easy to maintain and to service.
This Neon comes with three original Dodge Keys with transponder chips imbedded in them for security. We also have all the original owners manuals and booklets, all the original floor mats, the spare tire, and the jack and tool kit with this vehicle.
This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and runs like a dream. The car has good tires all around with nice tread remaining. We had also just installed brand new wheel covers on the vehicle. We have driven the vehicle on numerous occasions and it seems to be running and driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and transmission fluids and the vehicle has new brakes, new rotors, and new windshield wiper blades. The vehicle also has a newer battery installed recently. Everything in this vehicle is working (see my video) and it needs nothing but a new owner to care for it.
The exterior of the vehicle is super clean. There are no major blemishes or anything that is out of character. The only thing that I have seen is that there is a small crack on the lower part of the bumper which you can see in my pics. That is pretty much it. This vehicle is extremely clean and we just had the whole car buffer out professionally. All the bodywork and paint appear to be original. This is an accident free vehicle which was never smoked in.
The interior of the vehicle is also clean. Ths seats, carpets, doors panels, and other trims are all in great condition with no wear at all. The interior of this vehicle looks almost new in my opinion. This was a very well taked cared of vehicle inside and out.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you buy the car and are located in my local area, I will deliver it to you FREE of charge. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. NHTSA investigating 110,000 Ram 2500s and 3500s, one death alleged

Fri, 23 May 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation focusing on 110,000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2004 to 2006. One death has already been reported, according to NHTSA, due to a potential fault with the clutch interlocks on manual-transmission versions of the heavy duty pickup.
According to the report, these trucks can be started without depressing the clutch. There have been three reports so far, and as we mentioned above, one very sad incident seems to have resulted in the death of a child.
"One complaint involved an incident that occurred when a child was able to enter the vehicle and start the ignition without depressing the clutch. The vehicle then moved forward striking another child resulting in a fatality," NHTSA said in the investigation bulletin, which you can view below.

eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.
