$460 START BID - LOW / NICE CAR FOR FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS+!

Absolute Lowest START BID / Last Run On Listing

I'd hate to trash it.  This is a good car.  Lots of cash (kept up) & care went into it!

2001 Dodge Neon - BUY NOW $1,200 /  Decent CAR here! Fixer Upper

Invest few hundred should obtain a couple of years with it!

The car is For Sale on other networks. I obtain bid first wont sell it.

High Hwy. miles 207,000. Car has been running well until about 7 am on 10/8. I pulled into a McDonalds drive thru for an Egg White Delight. I heard a bit strange noise (might have been a belt.) Car immediate shut down - wouldn't start. I was pushed out of drive thru.. Brother in law owned this car from new. He drove it little over 3 hrs. on Hwy. FT. for work. He no longer wanted it about a little over year ago so, he gave it to me for second car rather than junk it. We've been using it as a second car. It was running real well - holding Hwy. speed with no problem or, shakes. It's also a lot better on gas over other car. It had a clutch put in about 3 yrs. ago. I put in a $600 job about 1.5 yrs. ago. This was on brakes + rear wheel bearing. Car has decent tires all around. I purchased a brand new bra to cover about 1/2 dollar size hole in front bumper. It has a working Kenwood stereo AM/FM - CD. The CD works fine too. I put battery in about 6 months ago. I'm not sure what is wrong with car. It might need a timing belt - not sure. The back end is making some noise driver side rear. Like I said, this car has been being driven - not sitter. I'm leasing a new Honda any day now as a second car. This car might be a good fixer upper for a mechanic handy man. I've been told the engine sounds good from a couple of mechanics recent. Miles are high but, car might kick out another 20-30 k (possible.) Car has been well treated. I know car has been running good until now. Part of dash on drivers side has been removed (lower section) TOP all in tack, have pieces. I was searching for a turn signal flashier a while back. I was told it was down in there from an auto place likely looking for a job but, later discovered right below steering cover (messed up dash some). Plus, car AC has crapped out but, not sure what it needs to work. The heater and all else works well. Car will need to be picked up - now not running. Regards to shifting - has been shifting rather well for a 12 yr. old car. Haven't had a problem with it. Interior is in good shape - NO rips.  The ONLY damage is part dash on drivers side removed (small section of vent.) The car fuse box is mounted on fine with a coat hanger. It was loose and detached. There is a crack in drivers side door panel.

Includes a spare rim in trunk - NOT mounted fits the car nice. I had it on car one time but, noticed lug nuts weren't getting that tight. You might want to look into it or, trash it. The car has a doughnut in trunk.

Had brake job done at Sears Auto 7/9/2012 - still have valid warranty papers / 18 months good or, listed miles.  Haven't reached either one. You should still be covered for another 90 days or, 3 months. Have work performed slip that states warranty terms.  NO problems at this time with brakes.  Not sure can view papers but, show what's been done on car.  Shows 18 month warranty info. too.

Dodge Charger and Challenger go Plum Crazy for Woodward Dream Cruise

Wed, Aug 12 2015

Dodge will be rolling through a purple haze at the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15 with the reintroduction of Plum Crazy to the color options on most trims of the 2016 Challenger and Charger. To premiere the latest use of the wild shade, the brand's display at the annual Detroit-area automotive event will be showing off violet versions of the 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker and Charger R/T Scat Pack. The brash tone originally debuted in 1970, but Dodge has kept the lavender hue special in recent years by limiting the option to specific trims. It was last offered during the 2014 model year on R/T and SRT trims of the two vehicles. Practically any buyer will be able to go Plum Crazy if they want. On the Challenger, the color will be available on the SXT Plus, R/T models, Hemi Scat Pack Shaker, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat trims. The choices for the Charger will be similarly broad, including the SXT when ordered with 20-inch wheels, R/T versions, SRT 392, and SRT Hellcat. Customers desperately wanting a vehicle in the insanely violet shade will be able to place the first orders in September, and dealers will get the chance from October through the end of the year. Production of the lavender muscle cars will then commence in November. Dodge Debuts Plum Crazy Heritage Hue for 2016 Challenger and Charger at Woodward Dream Cruise, Provides Collector-demanded Production Numbers for High-impact Paint Colors New 2016 Dodge Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker and Charger R/T Scat Pack Models in Plum Crazy Will Be Shown at the Dodge Display at 13 Mile and Woodward Ave in Royal Oak, Mich.

FCA recalls 15k Grand Cherokees, Durangos over brake issues

Sun, Apr 3 2016

The Basics: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling 14,768 examples of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, both from the 2015 and 2016 model years, and built between December 9, 2015, and January 14, 2016. The Problem: The left front brake caliper on some vehicles may have been made from the wrong type of iron, and could be prone to crack. A cracked brake caliper may not function properly. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The problem was discovered by the automaker during testing. The fix: Dealers will need to check the casting date of the component in question, and if necessary, replace the brake caliper. The schedule for carrying out the recall service has yet to be outlined. If you own one: Expect to hear from the manufacturer to arrange an appointment with your local dealer. 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Scat Pack Quick Spin

Thu, Jun 18 2015

"Scat Pack" is plucked from The Big Book of Dodge Nameplates to describe what is basically the average of the Charger R/T and Charger SRT 392. Unnecessary horsepower always seems to go down better with a dose of heritage. If you think it's a silly name, just be thankful Dodge didn't call it an S/RT or an R/T-S. In previous years, a similar formulation was known as the SRT8 Super Bee. Going by another name, it's still as sweet and wears the same hurried-looking pollinator on the grille. We do wonder: What has displeased him so, and why does he have wings and wheels? The packaging is at least fresh. All Chargers get updates for 2015, including improved interiors and a Dart-on-steroids exterior redo. The new lines work especially well on the more aggressive models, including this Scat Pack car. Like the Super Bee before it, the Scat Pack gets the 6.4-liter engine from SRT 392; for 2015 it gets a slight output boost to 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque, respective increases of 15 and 5. It does without the SRT three-mode suspension and comes with cloth seats (leather is an option) to keep the price down. The Scat Pack also has slightly smaller Brembo front brakes, narrower wheels, and different rubber. It does, however, cost eight grand less and is just as quick in a straight line. Intriguing. Driving Notes Scat Pack cars get an electronically controlled active exhaust that we'd call hyperactive. It's loud all the time, opening its widest at startup, idle, and when you ask for any appreciable amount of power. Sport mode supposedly makes a difference, but we couldn't discern loud from louder. It's a delicious and appropriate loudness, with a brassy trumpet tone to it, and the engine makes top-fuel noises at full tilt. The squeal of the rear tires can be heard from every stoplight no matter the road conditions. A light touch avoids leaving a mark if you're so inclined. We weren't. When the tires eventually smear into the realm of traction, this thing is pretty quick – hitting 60 miles per hour takes 4.5 seconds. There's also an adjustable launch control mode if you want to cut out some of the wheelspin. The eight-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Quicker, more-palpable shifts are had in Sport mode, but occasionally the transmission still needs a moment to drop down from seventh or eighth when you mash the throttle. Despite its two overdrive gears, this Charger is still loud on the highway. In a good way. Probably.
