Hello all, I am selling my 2005 Stone White Dodge Neon SRT-4. It has 56k on it and is in immaculate condition. This is one of the nicest SRT-4's, with the lowest amount of miles around.

I've had it for about 7 months, but I have a baby on the way and need something a little more practical, so my loss is your gain!

I have the title in hand and needs a good home.

Interior is in great condition.

The car drives great, pulls hard is mostly stock and tastefully modded.
Some of the issues with the vehicle are as follows, car pulls strong, but stock wastegate doesn't hold much past 11 pounds of boost, cheap fix for stock or aftermarket agp wastegate or something. Also could be a small boost leak as I've never done a test but almost positive there may be a small one.

There is a also a small line scratch barely noticeable in the back part of of the trunk, however I have oem PW1 duplicolor paint to fix, I just haven't gotten around to it just yet.

Honestly, not much other than the things mentioned, car drives straight and true, mechanically sound, as in ALL five gears work great just like new, no sounds or any other problems regarding the tranny.

The engine idles perfect and makes no other sounds other than what it should sound like that would suggest any problems.

Here is a list of all the mods that have been installed on the car that I feel enhance the value of it and are tastefully done,  they are as follows:

Shorty antenna
"2.4L turbo" vinyl hood scoop overlay
Painted trunk tabs oem color once spoiler was removed
replaced analog gauges with AEM black faced boost and oil pressure gauges
painted silver hvac bezel matte black to better match interior
turbo timer
cold air intake with aftermarket piping for intercooler
Mopar/Borla exhaust
Mopar short throw shifter
Custom 'SRT-4' badge on trunk lid
Upgraded all speaker with alpine components, all rockford fosgate wiring and custom rear 6x9's, also is prewired for a subwoofer

Please note that I DO HAVE the stock spoiler that was originally on this car, just took it off cause of preference.

There may be some things I'm forgetting but that's the majority of it. Feel free to contact me about any questions you may have regarding the car, this is a great condition and low mileage srt-4, these are becoming more and more rare, especially ones mostly stock in great conditIon.

Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

Dodge Charger and Challenger will live on, but a new Viper is unlikely

Tue, Jun 5 2018

BALOCCO, Italy — As FCA's latest five-year plan was presented last week, most of the day was focused on four brands — Jeep, Ram, Maserati and Alfa Romeo. That left a lot of people wondering about the future of the Chrysler, Fiat and Dodge nameplates. At the last five-year event, Dodge was one of the main features. We heard plans for an expanded lineup that included refreshed versions of the Viper, Challenger and Charger, the last two riding on the Alfa Romeo Giorgio platform. Times sure have changed. Dodge isn't going away, but the brand will be narrowed and focused. Performance is the name of the game, but don't look for a new Viper anytime soon. FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne simply said it's "not in the plan." Marchionne thought it was a great idea but that it couldn't live on as a standalone product. If it does eventually return, expect it to share parts with other FCA products, possibly with one of the upcoming Maseratis. On the other hand, Marchionne confirmed that both the Dodge Challenger and Charger will continue to live on. In the last five-year plan, FCA said that the pair would share underpinnings with future Alfa Romeos. That was promising news for those hoping for smaller, lighter versions of each model that would be better suited to fight models like the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. It seems the Alfa Romeo platform is off the table. Marchionne said the current LX platform would indeed live on, though it would be "unrecognizable" compared to what we have today. The LX architecture is ancient, and, although it's been continuously updated, its basic bones date back to the DaimlerChrysler days. Marchionne said that the Alfa platform just doesn't have the character American shoppers are looking for in those vehicles. It's unclear when the next iteration of the Charger and Challenger will arrive, but expect another refresh sometime before 2022. Look for an updated version of the tried-and-true Hemi V8. Rumors continue to swirl about a larger and more powerful 7.0-liter variant dubbed the Banshee, but we'll have to wait and see how that pans out. Junkyard Gem: This 1987 Dodge 600 SE Sedan is suspiciously Benz-ish

Wed, Feb 28 2018

The K Platform, introduced for the 1981 model year, saved Chrysler from certain bankruptcy. By 1983, a stretched-out K chassis had been developed; the Chrysler version was the E-Class, while Dodge had the 600. These cars have become all but extinct now, so this '87 600 sedan in a Denver-area wrecking yard is a noteworthy Junkyard Gem. Ford explicitly compared the appearance of the late-1970s Granada to that of the Mercedes-Benz W123 in their advertising, and so the ground was broken for Chrysler to make the allusions to Stuttgart machinery even more obvious a few years later. The name of the Chrysler E-Class was about as subtle as a tire iron blow to the kidneys, and the badging on its Dodge 600 sibling left little to the imagination. 600s came from the factory with several variations of the Chrysler 2.2/2.5 engine, as well as the Mitsubishi "Hemi 2.6" four-cylinder. This car has the 2.5 Chrysler engine, rated at 97 horsepower. Base price was $10,553, about $23,500 in 2017 dollars (the cheapest new Mercedes-Benz E-Class cost $38,600 in 1987, so there wasn't much customer overlap between the two cars). The 600s weren't bad cars for the price, though the build quality wasn't quite up to Mercedes-Benz standards. You'll find this thumbtack treatment on most K-Car headliners that still drive today. The interior is all tan and brown, with plenty of tough industro-velour upholstery and not-so-convincing artificial wood. Aluminum-faced home audio equipment was all the rage during the 1980s, and the trend spread to automotive controls. No cassette in this car, but at least it had AM and FM radio (even plain old mono AM radios were still expensive options on many cars as late as 1987, so the standard AM/FM stereo rig in the 600 was an attractive deal). 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody | First Run at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Mon, Jul 17 2017

In addition to driving the Dodge Demon, we also had a chance to sample the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody last week. We drove it on the famed infield road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We're not at liberty to give you our impressions just yet, but you can experience the sights and sounds of the 707-horsepower Hellcat Widebody in the above video. Thanks for watching. Check back on Wednesday, July 19, to read about the experience.
