Beautiful 2012 Dodge DURANGO Crew Plus V6
PREMIUM PACKAGE - REVERSE CAMERA - U CONNECT - MEMORY DRIVER SEAT - REMOTE START - KEYLESS GO - CLEAN CARFAX - DEALER ONLY SERVICED 100K MILES BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY 2012 DODGE DURANGO AUTOMATIC 3.6L V6. BEAUTIFUL WHITE EXTERIOR WITH BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR. LOADED WITH POWER, MEMORY SEATS, DUAL ZONE AC, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH TIPTRONIC SHIFTING, PREMIUM PACKAGE, REVERSE CAMERA, U-CONNECT, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, DIGITAL INFO DISPLAY, DUAL CLIMATE CONTROL, TEMP/COMPASS GAUGES, TRACTION CONTROL, UNIVERSAL HOME LINK, REAR A/C, 3RD ROW SEATS, POWER LIFTGATE, TOW PACKAGE, 20" CHROME-CLAD RIMS, IN-DASH CD PLAYER/AUX/USB/SAT RADIO, AND MUCH MUCH MORE.... I bought this SUV on January 2013 as a dealer CPO vehicle, used at the dealer as a demo car. Since then I've added the following: - Tow Package (DEALER installed) with tow package bumper. 1.000$ - 20" Premium Citadel Wheels with new tires (DEALER Installed 12k miles ago, tires are still very very good) 3.500$ - 100% Leather seats (DEALER installed at 40k miles. 4.000$ cost, Katzskin black leather with white stitches) I got this SUV with 20k miles or so, took it twice to NYC for vacation with my family and got 24mpg. Also a few business trips to Miami, FL. This car has been away from snow all its life, it is clean and has been dealer serviced all its life. (Airport Chrysler Dodge Jeep Airport in Orlando, FL). All service records are available.. Everything is up to date and has been getting the best Pennzoil Synthetic oil. I'm only selling it because I need a bigger SUV with a bigger motor since I'll be towing a new 7000lbs boat and don't want to abuse this beautiful SUV. I'm looking for a Mercedes GL550 or a Suburban. This car has warranty until 100k miles, and includes 4 more free oil changes at the dealer. It is in outstanding shape, nothing is due, feels like a new car, has been babied and it is extremely clean inside and out. I need to mention there's one small dent in the right fender and the rear bumper paint has a couple scratches. Nothing major. This SUV has never been in an accident and its as clean as you can get. Like new with a TON of warranty left. The extended warranty only cost around 3500$. Compare with other Durangos for sale on eBay and this one, with all its options, is the best deal! NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication
Tue, 28 Oct 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.
Motorweek goes retro with '80s hot hatch shootout
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Motorweek's decades of history on television make it the perfect medium to look back into the automotive past and see how things are different now. It recently added old road test videos to its YouTube channel of the Acura NSX and Toyota Supra, as well as the Ferrari F40. For one of its newest flashback clips, Motorweek has exhumed an affordable five-car challenge of 1986's premiere hot hatches.
By today's standards, this is an eclectic field that features fondly remembered classics like the Volkswagen GTI 16-valve and Acura Integra. However, it also throws in some nearly forgotten contenders like the Dodge Colt Turbo and Ford Escort GT. The angular Toyota Corolla FX16 GT-S rounds out the group.
It's fascinating to watch Motorweek run the quintet through the slalom, down the drag strip and on various roads. What's most striking in this clip is the difference in the definition of a performance car between then and now. With its 16-valve, 1.8-liter four-cylinder, the GTI is the burliest of the contenders with 123 horsepower, but it still takes 8.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour. By today's standards, that would make it a plain-jane economy car, and not even a particularly quick one.
2014 Dodge Durango Ron Burgundy ads already have 2.7M views [w/videos]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013The guy who once made the Dodge Stratus a punchline of sorts is now a spokesman for the 2014 Dodge Durango, and the move appears to be paying off handsomely for Dodge. Will Ferrell, acting as 1970s-era TV news personality Ron Burgundy, has teamed up with the automaker for co-branded advertisements between the refreshed 2014 Durango and Ferrell's new movie, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Like Ferrell's fictional character, the ads are outrageous, flamboyant and a bit random. They're also successful: Automotive News says that more than 2.7 million people have already watched the videos since they debuted on October 5.
Those views are similar to the numbers that AN's top viral video of the year (e.g. Volkswagen's "Get Happy" Super Bowl ad) received, but there will eventually be as many as 70 videos comprising the Burgundy-Durango spots. According to the report, the videos were created primarily as a viral campaign online, although some are airing on television, too. For Dodge's part, the cost of the videos was significantly lower than a usual television campaign thanks to the fact that Ferrell wasn't paid for the spots since they were made in cooperation with promotional efforts for his new movie.
We've already posted a few of the videos in our previous post, but scroll down for several more - and head over to Adweek for a little added background on how these spots came to be.
