2004 Dodge Durango 4x4 Hemi Limited, Dvd, 3rd Row, 104k, Clean, 1 Owner on 2040-cars
Patchogue, New York, United States

This is one of the cleanest 2004 Durango's I have seen in a long time. The body is near perfect with only the one spot on the passenger front fender that has some minor scratches (you will see in the pic). The air damn under the front bumper is cracked, but has no effect on the vehicle, probably pulled to close to a curb at one point. The tires are almost new and have a great tread pattern for any type of driving on or off road. This truck has it all, leather, heated power seats, 3rd row for 7 passenger seating, running boards, DVD player (have one set of head phones and don't have the remote, sorry), sunroof, chrome 17"rims, and TONS, TONS MORE!! This is a turn key and drive truck, needs nothing...the winning bidder will NOT be let down....lets not forget this is also a Limited with a HEMI!!! All the heavy duty service gear is there including factory trailer tow package. I did drive it and check the 4 wheel drive system, both high and low go in and out with no issues....bid to win, you will be happy.
I have tried to describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge and ability, so please before bidding make sure you ask anything so if you do end up being the winning bidder and get the vehicle there are no surprises. The truck is being sold AS IS and there are no warranty attached to it. The vehicle in this listing is not available for purchase or sale in the State of New York. All bids from people living inside the State of New York will be cancelled immediately. Due to the strict motor vehicle laws with in the state of New York, vehicles of this nature are not to be sold with in it. Sorry for any inconvenience. The ONLY exception is Licensed wholesalers...and paperwork must be shown to complete the sale. A $500 deposit is due with in 24 hours of the end of the auction and final payment Arrangements must be made with in 72 hours. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder and not included in the vehicle price. I will be glad to assist the winning bidder in making the Arrangements for shipping as I do know of several shipping companies that go all over the United States. Bid with confidence. This vehicle is being bought from one of the largest jeep, Chrysler, Ram, and Dodge dealers in New York State. We have been in business 97 years and are a family owned and operated establishment since day one. |

2019 Dodge Challenger, Charger get retro Sublime paint options
Thu, Jan 31 2019Editor's note: An FCA spokesman wrote to clarify that Sublime will be available on all 2019 Challenger and Charger models, including Hellcats. The story has been updated accordingly. Dodge's SRT performance division wants those of us who live in the nation's midsection to look past the current subarctic temps that are causing everything from "frost quakes" in Chicago to temporary shutdowns at auto plants in Michigan and envision the upcoming muscle car season with its balmier cruising weather. To help with that vision, SRT announced it's bringing back the heritage-inspired Sublime color and making it available for the first time on all 2019 Dodge Charger and Challenger models to help your metal pop. The lime-green Sublime color debuted way back during the 1970 model year on most Dodge vehicles, and it returned in 2007 for a limited number of Charger R/T Daytona models, then again across the Challenger lineup for 2015. It even made an appearance in 2017 on the limited-edition Ram 1500 Sublime Sport pickup truck. Sublime will be available for all models, including the 2019 Charger Scat Pack, with its 392 Hemi V8, the 707-horsepower Charger SRT Hellcat and the 797-hp Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. The color also makes its return to the Challenger T/A for the first time since 1970. It joins an extensive palette of color options for both models that include Go Mango orange, Plum Crazy purple and B5 Blue Orders start in February. The brand will have examples of both models on display next month at the Chicago Auto Show. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Fiat Chrysler will invest up to $1.5 billion to build EVs in Windsor
Thu, Oct 15 2020Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will invest between $1.35 billion and $1.5 billion in its Windsor assembly plant in Canada to build electric vehicles as part of a tentative deal with Canadian autoworkers, Unifor National President Jerry Dias said on Thursday. The auto union said FCA would invest in a state-of-the-art vehicle platform that will enable the assembly of plug-in hybrid and battery electric vehicles, with at least one new model in 2025. The announcement comes less than a month after Unifor said Ford would invest $1.46 billion in its Oakville and Windsor plants. "Not only is Fiat-Chrysler maintaining the current portfolio but they will be investing three derivatives to enhance the current portfolio," Dias said. Unifor also said it expects to extend the life of the Chrysler 300, a rear-wheel-drive luxury car and introduce multiple derivatives of the Dodge Charger and Challenger. The union said as many as 2,000 jobs would be added in 2024 at the Windsor plant. Market forecasting firm LMC Automotive on Thursday said it would take until 2024 for U.S. vehicle sales to recover from the coronavirus downturn and get close to the 17 million vehicles sold in 2019. Ratification meetings for the FCA deal will happen over the weekend, and members will vote on whether to accept the agreement on Sunday. The union is expected to begin negotiations with General Motors's Canadian unit next week. Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango still catching fire after recall
Thu, May 7 2015Automakers issue recalls all the time. It's part of the cost of doing business. We just assume that once the recall has been carried out, the problem in question has been fixed. But that's not always the case, as this latest investigation being undertaken by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration goes to show. The problem stems back to a recall issued by Chrysler last summer. It revolved rather the sun visor in the SUVs it makes at its Jefferson North Assembly Plant – specifically, the screw affixing the sun visor could end up rubbing against the wiring for the lamp in the vanity mirror, potentially causing an electrical short and even a fire. 62 such short circuits, 38 fires and three injuries reported, prompting Chrysler to recall nearly 900,000 units of the 2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango (over 650,000 of them in the United States). The plastic spacers they installed to rectify the problem, however, may not have done the trick. Eight reports (but none involving injuries) have been filed with the NHTSA regarding the same issue recurring, spurring the government agency to open a new investigation into the matter. If deemed necessary, the NHTSA could ask FCA to issue another recall to fix the issue again, which we may necessitate the installation of a fuze to prevent any such the electric short. Related Video: INVESTIGATION Subject : Headliner Fires Date Investigation Opened: MAY 01, 2015 Date Investigation Closed: Open NHTSA Action Number: RQ15003 Component(s): ELECTRICAL SYSTEM , INTERIOR LIGHTING Manufacturer: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) SUMMARY: On July 1st, 2014 Chrysler (FCA US LLC) issued safety recall 14V-391 to remedy a wiring-related fire hazard on the headliner of approximately 661,888 model year (MY) 2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles manufactured between January 5, 2010 and December 11, 2013. The recall was in response to the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) investigation EA14-001 during which data provided by Chrysler indicates that the fire is caused by an electrical short in the vanity lamp wiring for either one of the sun visors mounted on the vehicle. The sun visors are mounted to the roof of the vehicle through the headliner with three metal screws.
