I have forsale a 1971 dodge Dart. 340 cubic inch motor, New 727 automatic transmission, new interior, headliner ect. I bought this car about 9 years ago and its been great to work on and play with. I have taken it to numerous car shows and Good Guys car show every year since finished.
Under the hood is a 1971 dodge 340 with a mild purple molley cam, and lifters. Edelbrock carb, breather, valve covers. Steel water lines, new gas tank and a holley fuel pump. The transmission is a new 727 automatic with about 5000 miles on it. New tires and rims and brakes. Brakes are still manual. Paint is about 8 years old and looks great from about 15 feet. Could use new paint it you wanted to make it a show car. The gauge cluster needs to be rebuilt as the gas gauge, temp and oil pressure are inop. I do have aftermarket gauges installed that do work. Original radio but not hooked up. Has an aftermarket cd player.
I have a couple other cars and I really dont have to sell this one. I would like to sell this to buy a Harley. I have done the car shows for several years and would like to switch it up and go to Sturgis. Would be up for trades for the right Harley of equal value. NO Sportsters.
I am asking $12000.00 or best offer, I have about $21,000.00 invested. I recently advertised this on craigslist and was contacted by Autotrader who wanted to to advertise with them and advised that I was actually $2000,00 under what the car is worth. So I dont see any reason why the price should be an issue.
If you have the winning bid then I expext to be paid. There will be a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours if you do win the auction. I would just assume to be paid in cash and in person. If a check is to be used, the car and title will stay with me until the check clears. If you plan on having it shipped I will assist in what ever way I can. I do have this car listed privately and reserve the right to end the auction at any time if it sells locally.
Please bid with confidence as this is a pretty nice machine.

MotorWeek relives '80s coupes with Dodge Daytona, Ford Escort EXP
Thu, Aug 6 2015Get ready for a wave of nostalgia and the rapid realization of the huge progress in performance cars over the last 30 years. For its latest Retro Review, MotorWeek takes a look back at two, front-wheel drive coupes from the '80s that seem to have entirely vanished from the roads today. Both the 1986 Dodge Daytona CS and the 1986.5 Ford Escort EXP were considered affordable, sporty options in their day, but the passage of time hasn't been kind to either of their specs. The Daytona certainly looks the part of a performance machine with a body that's reminiscent of other '80s coupes, like the third-gen Chevrolet Camaro. However with 146 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque from a 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, acceleration wasn't exactly a strong suit. MotorWeek complained about copious torque steer, as well. The optional CS suspension upgrade package on this Daytona was apparently a nod to Carroll Shelby who was working with Dodge at the time. If anything, the Escort EXP withstands the test of time even worse. As a two-seat coupe, you might have expected Ford's engineers to really turn up the performance to fit the sporty image that the exterior conveyed. That didn't really happen, and depending on which model buyers ordered, they got either 86 horsepower with a 1.9-liter engine or the "high-output" version of that mill with 108 hp.
2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.
Widebody Challenger Hellcat spotted with no camouflage
Mon, May 8 2017Well this is a mightily mysterious muscle car. One of our photographers caught this Dodge Challenger out testing without any camouflage. At first glance it looks like an SRT Demon, since it has the same widebody flares and front spoiler of the hellacious Challenger. However, the hood is from a garden-variety Hellcat (as if such a thing existed...), the rear spoiler has an SRT Hellcat badge, and the wheels don't come from the kitty or the Hellspawn. We have two theories as to what this SRT mishmash may be. Our first is that this is perhaps a next-generation Hellcat that takes advantage of some of the Demon's developments. It could have a more potent engine under the hood, perhaps with the extra fuel pumps and air-conditioned intercooler, along with the Demon's beefier driveline. It would be a way to keep the Hellcat relevant, and a way for people who might miss out on the one-year-only Demon to get the next closest thing. Our other theory is that this is an all-wheel-drive Hellcat. The wide fender flares and chin spoiler appeared on an all-wheel-drive Challenger concept before they made their way to the Demon. And with the introduction of the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, we know that Mopar has an all-wheel-drive system that can handle the grunt of the 707-horsepower Hellcat mill. If an all-wheel-drive Hellcat is in the cards, it would be another way to keep the Hellcat line fresh without too much investment, and would be a treat for fans of the old all-wheel-drive concept. It would also probably be a great seller here in snowy Michigan. Oh, and it would certainly post some amazing 0-30 acceleration times. Related Video:
