This is a nice truck.  Engine has no problems and runs well...sounds great.   I have not owned the truck long but have driven about a thousand miles and haven't had a single problem with it.  I had the oil changed right after I bought it.   Starts right up and has no odd noises.

Interior is clean and in very good shape for the trucks age.  I installed a new center console as is seen in the pictures.  Nice stereo with speakers installed behind seats.  Except for the fuel gauge, gauges work without a problem.  Checking the internet, the fuel gauge problem seems common with these trucks.  I usually fill it up at 150 miles and it takes about 8-9 gallons.  Truck gets about 16 miles/gal.

The 4X4 has no problems as far as I can tell.  I've put it in gear and it goes in without a problem or clunking...very quiet.  It goes back out...again without problem.  I tried it out in some mud in the woods and everything worked great, truck had no problem getting around in hi or low four wheel.

Tires are in good condition.  One on the right rear shows a little more wear then the others but nothing too much.   I checked into replacing it,but they aren't made anymore. I don't like mixing tires so I decided to just wait and get a whole set when needed.

Bed liner is in great shape as is the tool box.  I have keys to the tool box.

The past owner put a new ignition in the truck so there are different keys for the doors.

This, again is a nice little truck.   I like it...just found a full size truck I like better.  The mileage seems high, but it has been taken care of and runs smooth.  Drives out very well and I have had it on city, highway and country roads.

Body is a little rough.  It needs rockers although they are not rusted through to the inside.  I looked here on Ebay and found a set for $100...just haven't ordered.   Clear coat is peeling and there are some dings...truck is almost twenty years old...so....

Windows are tinted but could probably stand a retint.  They go up and down fine and door locks work without problem as does the tailgate.

According to the auto report that Ebay does the truck had a new motor installed at 47,831 miles.  So the mileage on the motor is about 50,000 less than the odometer shows on the truck

Fort Worth Police investigating officer for using pepper spray on bikers

Tue, Mar 15 2016

A Fort Worth Police officer was placed on administrative duties after video surfaced showing him allegedly spraying pepper spray at a group of passing motorcyclists during a traffic stop over the weekend. An officer with the FWPD pulled over one of the group's chase vehicles, a red Dodge Ram, that was escorting riders in case of a crash or mechanical troubles. The video, shot from one of the motorcyclists' helmet cams, caught the FWPD officer exiting his vehicle and, before approaching the truck, spraying something into traffic at the group of riders. WFAA News 8 spoke with the men responsible for the video, Jack Kinney and Chase Stone, via Skype from Longview, TX, on March 13. "It's the last thing I would expect to see," Kinney told the station. "His intent was to hit the bikers for sure, there's no doubt about it," said Stone. "His intent was to send somebody down, if not to cause a major accident with that spray". As the video went viral, receiving more than 200,000 views in 15 hours, people shared videos showing the group of motorcyclists riding in an irresponsible manner through traffic right before the alleged pepper spray incident. Fort Worth Police say they received numerous calls about the pack of riders from motorists on surrounding highways, with complaints ranging from weaving in and out of lanes to popping wheelies through traffic at high speed. News 8 asked Kinney and Stone if it was possible that the officer felt threatened. "If you're worried about safety, why would you pepper spray a large group of bikers like that?" asked Kinney. The Dallas Morning News identified the officer as W. Figueroa. Worth Police released an official statement about the incident late on the afternoon of March 13. They stated that the officer in question, a six-year FWPD veteran, had been relieved of his patrol duties and placed on desk duty pending the investigation. FWPD Corporal Tracey Knight also made a statement indicating that pepper-spraying drivers in oncoming traffic is not a department-sanctioned tactic. Custom 2014 Dodge Durango R/T proves SEMA can be subtle

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

The annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas can often be a sensory overload of overwrought madness, with cars that don't even look drivable anymore. But every once in a while, a modestly modified show car graces our presence, like the customized Dodge Durango you see here, which, in addition to giving us our first glimpse at the aftermarket possibilities for the refreshed-for-2014 model, proves that a car doesn't have to be slammed, scooped, donked and Lambo-doored to have presence.
Sure, this Durango has custom hood inserts, dark 22-inch wheels and custom fender flares, but as far as external modifications go, that's it. Inside, Dodge has fitted new door sill guards, an ambient lighting kit, bright pedals, premium floor mats and - of course - Katzkin leather. The automaker has even added wireless internet connectivity as part of the excellent Uconnect infotainment system.
Performance upgrades are minimal on this Durango R/T, which comes packed with Chrysler's 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Larger brakes have been fitted, as have lowering springs (though it certainly doesn't look that much lower) and a custom exhaust.
