A business opportunity has forced me to sell my project
1970 Super bee 4 speed car. This was originally a Plumb Crazy Purple, White vinyl top, white bucket seat interior,383, 4 speed, N96 Air Grabber car !!!! Now it's a rolling project no engine or transmission The Good: all flooring (from firewall to rear bumper) is new AMD metal! It has new quarter panels, inner and outer wheel wells and more. It is a real FC7, D21, N96 super bee (purple, 4 speed, air grabber) car. All of the glass is included. Windshield needs replaced I'm including an extra driver side door in case you don't like the one on the car. It is almost ready for the next phase of a restoration. A lot of work has gone into this car in order to bring it closer to its original glory !!!!! I do have an original Air Grabber plumbing setup that has been correctly and completely restored. It will go with the car. I won't sell it separate. It was restored with the Hemi boot. I also have an extra set of grills. The interior seat frames are there. Missing 1 bucket seat The Bad: There are still a couple of panels that need replaced: outer door sills, rear window channel and related area. AMD carries all of these parts !!! Both fenders have some holes. I was going to replace the drivers side. A good body guy could work with them. The guy that I bought the car from, was going to keep them. There is no engine or transmission. There are plenty of sites that list missing engines. This one's 383 might still be out there somewhere. I don't have it. All interior seats are just the frames. Console too. One bucket seat is missing. Rally dash is there, but needs restored. This car needs a complete restoration. One day, it will be a very unique head turner....and not a clone. These cars are very difficult to find and are disappearing fast! Get a REAL BEE while you can, and build it the way that you want to. It is being advertised locally. It won't be around long sold as is no warranty full financing and delivery available |

Dodge Viper ACR reportedly green lit [w/video]
Fri, Feb 6 2015The Dodge Viper might be getting a little more venomous in the near future thanks to a return of the performance-honed ACR trim. According to an anonymous source leaking the info to Allpar, the version would go into production in July as a 2016 model year vehicle. FCA US showed a concept for a future ACR (pictured above) at the 2014 SEMA Show that sported carbon fiber parts for the front splitter and dive planes, plus a picnic-table-sized rear wing. The body also received ducts at the rear to shoot cool air to the differential. A set of 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic brake rotors also brought things to a halt in a hurry. The company promised all the aero pieces were sculpted in the wind tunnel to give the coupe even more downforce. To shed weight, engineers chucked the radio, speakers, carpet and sound deadening out of the interior, and they replaced many bits with even more carbon fiber. All of the tweaks are necessary because the ACR moniker carries serious cachet for the Viper at the track, especially at the Nurburgring. One reportedly did a 7:22 lap around the 'Ring in 2008, and another improved that further to 7:12 in 2011. Autoblog reached out to FCA US for comment about the possibility for the hotter Viper, but the company wasn't willing to comment about any possible, future projects. Related Video:
Dodge gives 2015 Viper slight power increase, new GT model
Tue, 02 Sep 2014With its troubling sales figures, the newly rechristened SRT Dodge Viper needs to come out swinging for 2015. To do that, Dodge has made a number of tweaks and changes that will hopefully carry the V10-powered sports car into more successful days.
First up for 2015 is a new GT model, which aims to marry the reasonable price of the base car with the adjustable suspension and trick stability control program of the GTS model. The GT also sports a cabin that's covered in Alcantara suede and Nappa leather as standard.
Also new for 2015 is the SRT TA 2.0 Special Edition, which expands on last year's Viper TA by adding new aerodynamic bits and bobs, including a larger rear wing, which ups downforce at 150 miles per hour from 278 pounds to 400 pounds.
Dodge Charger Widebody is rumored on its way for 2020
Mon, Feb 4 2019Grab all the salt you have, save the amount you need for your recommended daily allowance. Mopar Insider reports its sources as having confirmed Dodge will unveil a Charger Widebody for the 2020 model year, in SRT Hellcat and R/T Scat Pack trims. Such a move would copy the trim and aesthetic formula used — to excellent affect — on the Dodge Challenger. The Charger widebodies would get also get unique suspension tuning, and the same 305/35 ZR 20 Pirellis as on the Challenger widebodies, but wrapped around unique, dual-five-spoke designs that are 11 inches wide. There has been talk of a widebody Charger for at least two years, many of those conversations carried out in the same way sleuths parse grainy photos of monsters. In April 2017, Instagram user gtpprix caught a standard Dodge Charger wearing Challenger widebody wheels, spaced so that the rubber extended beyond the fenders. A month later, a YouTube account in the name of Sinister Life caught the same car on video. The license plate doesn't appear to be from Michigan, which is where almost all Dodge prototypes get licensed. On the other hand, early spy shots of Challenger widebody prototypes from 2016 featured this same setup — a normal version with protruding tires. The SRT CEO at the time, Tim Kuniskis, joked about testing the Challenger widebody openly, knowing everyone would think it was a prototype Demon. According to Mopar Insider, engines and outputs won't change on the Charger widebody versions. That means sticking with the 485-horsepower, 6.4-liter V8 in the R/T Scat Pack, and the 717-hp, 6.2-liter V8 in the Charger Hellcat. Looks would change, however, with new front and rear fascias to differentiate the model and cohere with the new lines. That includes a new dual-snorkel hood grille and repositioned intakes, plus tweaked side sills. If it's really on the way, we should know this summer. Such a model would also support recent comments from Steve Beahm, head of Dodge, Fiat, and Chrysler brands, when Automobile asked about how the company will maintain any momentum in difficult days for sedans. Beahm said, "[Our] our job was to [ask,] 'How do we differentiate within the brands that are going to remain passenger-car brands?' ... What we do is we try to make our vehicles look different."
