1969 Dodge Coronet R/t on 2040-cars
Carrollton, Georgia, United States
1969 Coronet R/T here's a chance to get yourself a real Coronet R/T body to restore at NO RESERVE. Vin#s on the radiator support & the trunk lip match ( see pics) The fender tag is long gone ( the car was just a 440 car anyway no biggie) Frame rails are very nice and solid. The floors and trunk pans are rusty as the pics show. Has an Illinois salvage title. Car was once owned by a musclecar parts business ( that's why all the parts are just hanging on the car and not attached.) It served as a parts car at some point. What you see is what you get . I don't have any other parts. Car is sold as is where is. It still has the correct 150 mph dash. The car needs massive work but, it is a genuine R/T offered at NO RESERVE !!!. As you can see it was a console, No a/c car which is nice for an R/T. Check out the pics know what you're looking at car needs a lot of work!! If you're not sure of something ask I don't mind giving an answer. I'll be glad to email pics if you need to see a certain section of the car. Thanks for checking it out. Bid in complete confidence. I'm easy to deal with car can be picked up at your convenience

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
2013 Dodge Dart GT offers subtle menace in compact form
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Dodge has already shared all of the relevant information about its all-new 2013 Dart GT, but it wasn't until now that we've seen the car, live and in person. The slightly meaner front fascia and bigger wheels look great on the Dodge, and the red-on-black perforated seats are sporting in an aftermarket sort of way.
To recap: The Dart GT also gets a bit more power, using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to make 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A starting price of $20,995 will get you LED taillights, dual exhaust, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Feel free to re-acquaint yourselves with the full Dodge Dart GT information in the press release below, or have a leisurely browse through our gallery of live images.
eBay Find of the Day: Viper Defender from '90s TV show
Fri, 24 May 2013As car lovers, it's always hard to find a good television show with decent cars, but what the 1990s show Viper lacked in acting, scripting and plot, it more than made up for with cool cars. For starters, the lead car was a Dodge Viper RT/10, but, on screen, it was able to morph into its "Defender" mode making it an armored coupe with a full arsenal of weapons.
Fortunately, you don't have to be a fan of the bad show to love its lead car, and if you really want one, a Defender is up for auction right now on eBay. According to the listing, this car is the real deal - not a clone - and it comes with a V8 engine (not sure what happened to the V10?) and plenty of swag and memorbilia. No word on its actual asking price, but with a day left and 42 bids already, the reserve has not been met at $133,400. The listing does add that this same car was listed at Mecum back in 2010, but did not get sold, even with a bid of $270,000.
