This is a 2010 Dodge Charger R/T.  And YES, it's got a HEMI. 5.7L to be exact. Cruising for just over 87,500 miles, driving this car is almost effortless. A majority of the miles on the car are highway miles. Looking at the car, from the outside or inside, it shows almost no wear or tear. On the inside, the only signs of wear are on the driver's seat. Besides that you can enjoy the dual-level heated seats for both the driver and front passenger, as well as a dual-climate control system. The smooth sound system is controlled by the large touchscreen that plays CDs, satellite radio, am/fm radio, or enjoy music from your MP3 player. All leather bucket seats. All of your normal power features as well: 1-touch express up/down driver and front passenger windows, 1-touch moonroof, power adjustable driver & front passenger seat, power side-view mirrors, and auto-headlights. Safety features include, but are not limited to, driver-side and front passenger airbags, as well as side-curtain airbags. Tons of trunk space and a compact spare.

The 5.7L HEMI sends its horsepower through a 5-speed automatic transmission with a TapShift override so you can change gears as you see fit. The HEMI also has a fuel-saving cylinder shut-down system; when you need 8 cylinders the HEMI uses all eight, when you don't need 8 cylinders the HEMI only uses 4 to help you conserve fuel. The transition happens quickly and is seamless. The Charger sits atop 18-inch chrome wheels with dual chrome-tipped exhausts peering from beneath rear bumper. The body is virtually scratch/dent/ding free. Bottom line, it really looks fantastic. The only noticeable blemish is a dent in one rim I caused hitting a curb trying to avoid a deer. After having it inspected by a tire & wheel specialist, I was assured the wheel wouldn't leak air or have any negative effects on the performance. This proved to be true. The car handles and rides extremely well, almost as well as when I first bought it.

Overall, this is a really nice car. Rides great. Handles well. Looks fantastic. You won't be disappointed. I am willing to drive and meet somewhere for you to inspect the car. Email me if you'd like to request any specific photos or info. After purchasing the car, I am willing to discuss dropping the car off to you, as well as taking care of all the title exchanges. Any maintenance or additional inspections that you wish to have done is also negotiable. I prefer payment by cashier's check, certified check, or PayPal. However, other options can be discussed. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have, and thank you for your consideration.

Buyer says Dodge dealer gave him wrong Charger, failed to notice for 2 months

Wed, Dec 31 2014

Mistakes happen, and they happen all the time. But when that mistake means a customer doesn't get what he or she paid for, something's gotta give. That's what one Dodge Charger buyer claims he is trying to sort out with his local dealership. Two months after taking delivery, the owner (going by the user name Dakrbouncer4689 on Reddit) says he got a call from his local Dodge dealership reporting a little problem. He had ordered and paid for the Charger SXT (pictured above on the dealer lot), but was given a Charger SE instead. The SE being the lower trim level, this presented one set of problems – namely a $2,000 discrepancy in equipment, like a five-speed automatic versus an eight-speed, a 4.3-inch infotainment display instead of 8.4, heated seats, leather steering wheel, premium audio, remote starter and so on. The second set of issues is that the VIN number on the paperwork (including the registration and insurance papers) of course doesn't match that of the car itself. The dealer, having obviously made a rather large mistake, apparently called the owner in to sort out the mess, but according to the customer's account, things didn't go as smoothly. Instead of immediately working to address the problem, the salesman kept the owner waiting, acted like it was no big deal, and offered only to swap the cars with no compensation for the trouble. Fortunately, the manager proved more sympathetic and apologetic, and offered the customer three options: he could swap the cars (re-doing the tinted windows on the SXT that the customer had done on the SE and throwing in leather seats for free), he could keep the SE (with the dealership handling the paperwork, throwing in the leather seats, adjusting the price and refunding an extra $400), or they could cancel everything, return the car and part company. As we go to press, the Charger owner had yet to make (or at least share) his decision. But while the principle of caveat emptor makes us wonder how he managed to take home a different car from the one he paid for, clearly the salesman and the dealership made a pretty large mistake by presenting him with the wrong set of keys and letting him off the lot without double checking it all. FCA recalls 210,000 new Jeeps and Dodges due to a brake issue

Thu, Aug 23 2018

FCA is recalling some 210,000 vehicles in the U.S. and elsewhere over a possible braking issue. On this occasion, the recall is made less complicated by the fact that about one-third of the affected vehicles are so new, they still reside on dealer lots, making them easy to tally up and put right. The recall concerns 2018 Dodge Journeys, 2019 Jeep Cherokees and 2018-2019 Dodge Grand Caravans and 2018-2019 Jeep Compasses. Most were built in spring 2018, and the recall is related to a brake system component that failed to meet FCA specifications. Further information available on the NHTSA website details the issue, saying that insufficiently coated rear brake caliper pistons may cause gas pockets to form in the brake fluid of very new vehicles. This in turn can reduce rear brake performance — bubbles in brake lines are not desirable. FCA underlines that the brakes still function, but stopping distance can be affected. As a remedy, the brake systems are inspected and re-bled. The recall is slated to begin on Sept. 28. In addition to 154,337 vehicles in the United States, the recall concerns 19,066 units in Canada, some 900 in Mexico and some 35,500 vehicles on other markets. Vin Diesel reveals first poster for Furious 8

Wed, Apr 20 2016

Vin Diesel unveiled the first poster for Furious 8. The image shows Dom standing on a deserted road with his Dodge Charger with the tagline: "New roads ahead." Diesel's post doesn't offer any other new details about the much-anticipated action film, which is still a year away from theaters. While this image is teasing, we continue to get a better idea of Furious 8's cast. Scott Eastwood, Clint Eastwood's son, has a prominent role in the film, and Charlize Theron plays a villain. Dwayne Johnson also confirmed his return as Hobbs. Plot details still vague, though. An earlier teaser from Diesel hinted that some of the movie might take place in Manhattan, which could be an amazing setting for automotive stunts. The crew has also been filming north of Reykjavik, Iceland, which would be a great locale for off-road action. Furious 8 will hit theaters on April 14, 2017. According to Diesel, part 9 will arrive on April 19, 2019, and Fast & Furious 10 will potentially end the main franchise on April 2, 2021. This content is hosted by a third party.
