RELIST - as most saw, this Charger sold on Sunday night as reserve had been met. Bidder was in France and apparently did not understand how auctions worked. Ebay helped me cancel the transaction as I never heard from winning bidder. If you are from another Country I do not have listed that I will sell to, please contact me first if you would like to bid on this Charger, but you will have to fully understand English and my auction description first. I apologize for being this way, but I hope you will understand.
Not an R/T Charger but is a factory big block car. With all the Hot Rod/ Resto Mod builders out there, this car is a wonderful candidate to build whatever comes to mind. I personally think the General Lee Chargers have been done to death, most built are not even the 69 model like the original was. If I were to build a 69 Charger the way I wanted to, I would definately build a Dirty Mary & Crazy Larry Charger - not many remakes out there and was a cool car ! Just an idea .......
This particular Charger was born B5 Blue with a White vinyl top and White interior with a Buddy seat between buckets and column shifted. This is a non AC car, manual steering, manual brakes with an 8 3/4 rear and 742 case though I dont know what ratio is and it is not a Sure Grip. The 383 in car is not the original, it is a 67 and is froze up. No idea what transmission is like, but do have a drive line.
I am selling this car for my buddy Rich who is offering, if winning bidder wants the combo, a 1970 NON HP 440 engine from a police car complete but needing rebuild along with a 23 spline 4 speed transmission complete with Bell Housing only for an additional $750.00 on top of winning bid. Rich has a bunch of 440's and 100's of sets of big block heads, some HP blocks, dozens and dozens of sets of original pistons and rods, Hemi engine parts, you name it he probably has it and can be bought, but not included in this auction.
The Charger looks like it had some damage at one time to passenger front corner. Inner fender needs a little ironing out but only passenger side, front frame rail tip needs straightend, but all damage is repairable without having to spend $1,000's
This Charger is actually very solid !!!! Floor pans are fantastic and dont even need any patches. The trunk pan is really the only major panel replacement. Underside of car was undercoated and preserved, nothing needs fixing under there. Typical rust around back window but not horrifying. As you can see, grille is shot. Quarter panels are very nice needing only patches down low and a small spot behind driver door was torn but should be easy enough repair. Under coating on inner quarters is still beautiful and blue. Doesnt look like quarters ever suffered any damage which is kinda rare for how long and shapely they are.
The car did not have seats when Rich got it so he installed some that would be recovered in correct 69 Charger upholstery anyway. He also is throwing in a really nice automatic console if a person chooses to go automatic on floor, also included is a nice Tic Toc Tac. As far as dash goes, it may be better to toss it and replace with a nice refurbished one. Will need a complete interior kit, no door panels, headliner etc. This car did come with the 2 speakers in dash though and could have been an 8-track car.
This is an excellent project Charger. They are all getting bought up pretty quickly. Even Ford and Chevy guys love the style of the 68-70 Chargers and they have so far maintained an excellent investment venture.
The hood will need replaced, its not even bolted to car. The underside latch area is rusted out, and its from another Charger.
I recommend that if you are bidding to win this car and you have any questions at all, CALL ME. I have excellent feedback and would like to keep it that way. I know how difficult it is buying something you just can not see or touch physically and it is my job to describe this car as accurately as possible. My number is 360-550-6332 and my name is Wes
PAYMENT : A NON refundable deposit of $500.00 due within 24 hours of auctions end via Pay Pal. Balance due within 7 days of auctions end. Though I am pressed for space, I will work out the details of Chargers pick-up with winner in a reasonable amount of time.
I will also need to know at end of auction if car will be picked up or transported. If transported, I will need to know if winner wants the 440 and 4 speed offered for the additional $750.00 as I would need to do engine swap before being picked up.
REMEMBER - this car is being sold in As-Is condition. You bid and win it, you bought it. Very nice project though !!

Dodge Challenger Hellcat drift video is pure horsepower porn
Fri, Mar 27 2015We could listen to the whining, snarling 6.2-liter Hemi V8 in the Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats all day long. The noise just sounds like power that's being barely restrained and is everything about a muscle car that's right. The team at Pennzoil apparently understands that allure, too. The oil company has a new video where it lets the engine roar for over a minute, while a Challenger does some big, smoky drifts through an abandoned city. The whole stunt is edited together in a slickly produced way that looks fantastic. Although, the big finale might go a little too far and starts straining believability. Nonetheless, the Hellcat's wonderful noise is still the star of this show. Related Video:
2020 Dodge Durango SRT Drivers' Notes | When excess is a good thing
Wed, Dec 4 2019Performance SUVs and crossovers from non-luxury brands are still in a nascent stage of development. Models like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, BMW X5 M and others are on subsequent generations of their high-performance high-riding machines. Meanwhile, the 2019 Dodge Durango SRT is still refreshingly new. It’s also about as American as it gets. Dodge shoehorned in the 6.4-liter V8 and gave it an exhaust system that screams ‘Murica at anyone who strays too close. It makes a glorious 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, completing the sprint to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels, which means you have traction — something the Challengers and Chargers with this engine could use a bit more of. Despite the Dodge being far cheaper than other big, high performance luxury SUVs out there, it still isnÂ’t cheap. The SRT has a base price of $64,490. Ours stickers for a much higher $78,235. Unsurprisingly, Dodge makes you pay the big bucks for most of the luxury features and customization options. A $2,395 Technology Group adds adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and forward collision avoidance systems. Fancy interior materials like a suede headliner, nicer materials on the instrument panel and carbon fiber inserts can be had in a $2,495 package. The stripes are $1,295, and the 20-inch wheels cost $995. To get the second row console with an armrest and storage, youÂ’ll have to pay an extra $595. A $78,235 Durango might sound like a completely egregious amount of money, but itÂ’s still far below what youÂ’ll pay for a BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS that goes just as fast. ItÂ’s no muscle SUV for the people, but it is a muscle SUV for more people than could afford one previously. Assistant Editor Zac Palmer: An American SUV with a giant V8 feels like a superior descendant of muscle cars than most other “muscle cars” on sale today. Both the Mustang and Camaro slant toward the sports car side of things, leaving FCA to carry on the muscle car tradition. And man, Dodge carries it on well. FCA could slot its 6.4-liter V8 into nearly anything and IÂ’d love it, so it was no surprise that I enjoyed it thrashing it about in this behemoth of an SUV. Traction off the line was one major benefit in the Durango over the Charger and Challenger. Matt the throttle and it just leaps forward, similar to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.
Marchionne may stay with FCA until 2020
Mon, Aug 31 2015We might get to see Sergio Marchionne and his vast array of sweaters in the auto industry for even longer than expected. The FCA CEO suggested last year that he would retire from the automaker when its current five-year plan was complete in 2018. Now, he has tentatively extended that point out to at least 2020. "I can do this for another five years if you push me, right? Beyond that, I ain't gonna do it, and I don't want to," he said to Automotive News. That would give Marchionne a 16-year career at the top from joining Fiat in 2004 to possibly leaving FCA in 2020. Although, take the CEO's statement with a grain of salt because he has made multiple statements about the timing for his retirement. In 2012, Marchionne said he would only remain in charge until 2015, which is, well, now. Those five years might also go quite quickly because Marchionne is a busy guy with the Ferrari IPO, the attempted merger with General Motors, implementing FCA's five-year plan, and many other projects. He's already considering the next CEO, though. "My purpose in life is to find the Kuniskises of the world, the Manleys, the Biglands, the Palmers," Marchionne said to Automotive News, referencing the heads at Dodge, Jeep, FCA North America, and the company's chief financial officer, respectively. "I told them, 'One of you is going to do what I do one day. I don't know who that is, but one of you is going to do it.'"
